This is a paper and tin stand up shelf ornament / bookend / doorstop made by moi. It is aged to look old but is actually brand new. How did I make it? I took a photo of an antique chalkware cat and aged,altered it in photo shop, then cut it out on lightweight tin, glazed it and it is now ready to put on your shelf as a neat OLD VINTAGE LOOKING shelf sitter decoration! No paying big bucks for an authentic historic piece of antique chalkware here (one very similar looking to this went for over $1200 at auction!) It stands on its own and measures 7 1/2 inches high. It is signed and dated by me on the back, Wendy Presseisen.

I also have more of my "old timey tinware" - rabbits,santas,cats,lambs, snowmen,dogs etc - some handpainted and others collage art that I have created from antique pieces around my house.
