a bit of black and white flannel. a spot of green yellow toile. a hidden touch of blue. and a breath of summer in these last cold weeks of winter.

three layers of soft white muslin have been machine sewn together and deliberately frayed around the edges. all the bits and pieces have been sewn by hand. embroidery of a leaf and vine in white thread is done freehand. a tiny spot of blue is a hidden surprise.

there is pocket hand sewn to the back in contrasting yellow thread. perfect for including a little note or a tiny gift. it can be framed as a small art piece as well. it measures just about 5x7 inches (or 13x18 centimeters) with the pocket just a bit smaller.

if you so wish, i would be happy to hand write a note and tuck it inside. simply let me know at the time of purchase.
