Recycled quilted denim placemats from Country By Design. Each 12 by 16 inch placemat is made from triangle squares using recycled denim. The backing fabric is a red/white/blue print and the binding is a navy blue print with white stars. The batting is Warm and Natural cotton. Made to stand up to repeated washings. The double binding is hand finished so the placemats are reversible.

This Country By Design rag quilted table runner features homespun fabrics in the purple and green families. Each 4 inch square is machine quilted to a muslin backing with Warm and Natural batting. The squares are joined into rows with 1/2 inch seams. The rows are joined the same way, then the outside edges are stitched 1/2 inch in from the edge. All the seams and edges are clipped then the runner is washed and dryed to begin the fraying process. After washing, the runner measures 31 inches long, and 12 inches wide.

Runner is machine washable in cool water with like colors. Homespun fabrics may bleed.

My dog loves my sewing room as much as I do, and we both keep warm with a wood burning furnace.

Each Country By Design item is made from an original design and is unique. I won't make another one exactly like this one. Each runner is shipped with a tag, wrapped in tissue paper. I ship in poly mailers. If for any reason you are not happy with your item, you may return it for a full refund.

At 39 inches by 10 inches, it will fit almost anywhere. The runner is machine quilted through the top, batting, and backing, plus the bright orange double binding is finished by hand, so the runner can be used on either side. The batting is Warm and Natural and the backing is white muslin. Well constructed for years of enjoyment.

Here's a small table mat to dress up your end table or you can use it for a centerpiece. At ten inches square, it will fit almost anywhere. The triangle squares are constructed from a solid blue and a blue floral print. The edges are neatly bound with a double floral print binding that is finished by hand. The batting is Warm and Natural and the backing is muslin. The mat was machine quilted through all three layers.

This Country By Design rag quilted table runner would be a perfect gift to give to your
mother, grandmother, or favorite aunt or to keep for yourself. The mix of green and lavender squares with white
is charming. It measures 12 inches wide by 35 inches long.

Directions:
Take two different green prints and cut them into four inch squares, then combine them
with four inch squares of deep lavender with tiny white dots, pale lavender with big white
dots, a lavender floral print, and a white print with lavender flowers. Machine quilt each
of the squares to a white muslin backing square with a square of white cotton batting
sandwiched in the middle. Sew the squares together into long rows; clip the seams and
press them open. Sew the long rows together, press the seams open and clip them. Then
sew a white "border" all the way around the runner and press to the outside. Clip through
all layers, then wash and dry to begin the fraying process.

Butterfly Garden Rag Quilted Table Runner Wall Hanging from Country By Design with Appliques

Appliqued butterflies and flowers add another dimension to this rag quilted flower garden. Each four inch square and each backing square was chosen to add detail to the overall design. Each square was machine quilted using cotton batting. All seams and edges were clipped before the runner was washed and dried to create the frayed edge effect. The runner measures 15 inches wide by 44 inches long.

Flower and butterfly appliques were cut and rag quilt stitched freehand. They were added to the runner after it was washed and dried. The butterflies are machine appliqued in place. The flowers are tied in place.

This is an original Country By Design pattern and will not be repeated exactly like this one, so it is one-of-a-kind. Some of the fabrics used are vintage and no longer available.

Vintage blue denim squares combine with a variety of yellow and green squares in this machine quilted table runner from Country By Design. This table runner is a one of a kind original design that measures 38 inches by 12 inches. The border is a print that picks up all the colors in the squares. The batting is 100% cotton Warm and Natural. The backing is cut from scraps of the same fabric that was left over from another project. The table runner is reversible, and will look better as it is washed and dried. It was been washed once to begin the fraying process.

Each square is a sandwich of a quilt fabric square, a batting square and a backing square. The squares are machine quilted with an X to hold everything together. Then the squares are combined into rows and the rows are then stitched together. Then the border is added. Each seam and the border are clipped closely to provide the frayed look.
