Love this snowman ornie! I made 6 of these and each one is just a bit different since they're handmade and handpainted. Hand it on your cabinet knob or shelf peg all winter long. They've got character!

Coffee stained for a perfect prim effect. The hats are painted and then sanded to soften them up and give them a distressed look. The faces are painted and the noses are wooden carrots!

One of my favorite creations. :)

I think this turned out so pretty! It is a large PennyRug for your jar candles, or just a pretty mat for a table.
I've used 2 shades of green for the leaves and pennies and a mottled shade of pink for the flowers and buds. The vine is handstitched with a thicker perle cotton embroidery thread. In the center of the main flowers, I've sewn on a burgundy button for accent detail.

The table mat measures aprox. 15" across including the tongues.

This is a new doll for me and I am loving her!!!
Her name is "Angel Annie" and she's a very tall 38"! And, that's not including her braided rusty wire halo.
I'll do my best to describe her for you, but I must say that the photos do not do her justice. ;)
Her dress is a small floral print fabric with embroidery floss gathering and a cute bow sewn on at the bottom of the bodice. Her bloomers are coffee stained cotton and gathered at the waist and legs with embroidery thread.
Her leg stripes are painted barn red, sanded and then coffee stained.
Her nose is sewn on, her eyes are sewn on dark blue buttons and her eyebrows, mouth, and eye lines are handstitched with floss.
Angel Annie also has a primtive stitchery pillow with "Simplify" handstitched by me and tacked to her sleeves with just a few little stitches to keep it in place. I've also sewn some prim stars and buttons on the pillow.
Her hair is curly doll wool sewn on and then I added hair bows to match her dress.
Now for the most special detail.....Annie's wings are from a vintage antique cutter quilt! I have tucked some wire inside the top of the wings to make them bendable and sturdy.
For the final touch, I added a primitive hang tag with her name and attached it along with a rusty bell, using a rusty safety pin.
The doll and her clothes and wings have been coffee stained.
This doll is for decorative purposes only and not meant to be a child's toy.
She has a wire loop on the back so that you can display her on the wall.

You've heard of the ugly duckling,

well here it is!!!

Kind of cute in a way though. :)

This unique doll has been made from a recycled cotton sheet which I washed, then painted a tan color, then antiqued for the prim look.

His hat is made of warm & natural that I coffee stained. The eyes are little rusty bells and sewn on. The beak was painted a rusty orange/yellow and then antiqued. His life preserver has been painted a mustard color and then the words are painted on with a chocolate color and antiqued. The wings are sewn to the life preserver and the hat is tacked on so it won't fall off.

His skinny legs and feet are painted orange and then antiqued. The feet are lightly stuffed and then sewn to give a webbed look for more detail.

He's weighted at the bottom so he'll sit up better.

This would be a great gift for someone in the Coast Guard, Navy, or just a great addition to your prim bathroom!

Freedom black Folk Art Doll Primitive Shelf Sitter with flag -ofg team- Americana

This "beauty" is a weighted shelf sitter which means that she sits up all by herself. She is weighted and flat on the bottom. I used a special fabric paint on her so she is still soft and flexible.

I used dark brown sheep's wool for her hair, Americana homespun plaid cotton for her body and heavy cotton for her collar. I did a stitchery on her collar that says, "Freedom" and also outlined it with stitching and a huge navy blue button attached at the top with embroidery floss.

Her nose and mouth are separate pieces that are stuff and then sewn on to her face. The primitive American flag is attached to a stick and slipped in behind her fingers. It is not attached and can be removed. Her eyes are sewn on buttons.

This prim doll is handmade by me, using a pattern from "You Are Special". She measures aprox. 14" wide and 10" high.

Entire doll and flag have been coffee stained.

Handstitched by me - a candle mat for your jar candles. No more boring jar candles sitting around. Add just a bit of decoration by sitting them on a handmade candle mat!

I've stitched a prim Santa and pip berry (or holly?) vines, along with the words, "Ho Ho Ho" with embroidery thread. The Santa is stitched with a barn red thread, the words with green embroidery floss, and the berries are red french knots.
On the back, I've sewn a piece of hunter green and tan cotton homespun which comes out around the edge of the muslin for a border. The entire backing is one piece of the homespun.
There is a layer of quilt batting between the two layers of fabric that give it a quilted look. Coffee stained for a perfectly prim finish.
The candle mat measures aprox. 8.75" across.
Would look great with your Christmas holiday candles in the center!

Just finished this flock of 5 prim bird nodders. Their hang tags say, "Prim Tweeter". Some of the wings are wool felt and some are brushed cotton. The eyes are tiny rusty bells that I've sewn on and the wings are also accented with rusty bells and safety pins.
The birds measure aprox. 9"-10" tall including the rusty bedspring.
Birds are handmade by me.

Galvanized bucket that I painted an outhouse and flowers on and then put 3 full size, dried corn cobs inside. The corn cobs are tied together with a piece of Americana blue and red homespun cotton. I also added a tea stained hang tag that I used a rubber stamp to put the words, "emergency toilet paper" and on the other side, an outhouse, both stamped with red ink.
This has been a best seller for me and it's sure to be a conversation piece in your guest bathroom at your home, cottage, or cabin.
The bucket measures aprox. 3.75" high and 3.75" across the top.

It's that time of year! This candle mat can be used in any way that you would use a doily. It is made of quilt shop quality wool/felt blend and felted in hot water.

The background is two layers thick of black wool felt that I've joined with a blanket stitch in white yarn. The primitive snowment and pine trees are blanket stitched on with green yarn and I've added tiny little pumpkin orange noses on the snowmen.

The penny rug measures aprox. 11.5" and is the perfect size for a large Yankee Candle. The candle in the photo is not included in this sale.

Very unique, one of a king OOAK wool felt applique purse. This is totally handmade by me.

I first handstitched all the applique pieces onto the beige front, adding buttons for detail. The black crow is 100% wool, the other pieces are a wool/felt blend.
Next I machine stitched the denim blue backing to the beige front piece.

I made the lining from 100% cotton homespun in Americana colors and machine stitched it to the wool felt outer sections. The lining has one pocket on each side and a velcro closure.

After I flipped it back to right-side-out, I blanket stitched the borders and the top penny rug section.

The strap is aprox. 31" long and 1" wide. It is 2 layers of denim blue wool felt that I blanket stitched together.
The strap is sewn onto the purse and detailed with barn red buttons.

The purse itself is aprox. 9" high X 7.5" wide.

I would suggest dry clean only to avoid shrinkage.

Here's a cute bunny rabbit doll for ya! This little darling measures in at about 23" from the tips of his ears to the tips of his toes. He is made of heavy cotton and his nose is stitched and his cute wittle whiskers are made of embroidery floss that has been curled. Gives him character, don'tcha think??? Even his toes and fingers have been stitched to make them stand out. Even more character! He has been coffee stained for the prim perfect look.

I did this primitive crow with prim stars punchneedle to fit in a frame with a 2"x2" opening. The outside of the frame is about 4.25" square.

Country denim blue wool felt candle cozy with red & tan "pennies", then I added a blue star and a red button in the center. Everything is blanket stitched by hand!

My latest creations are some great fall candle wraps made of quality wool felt and totally handstitched! I've made some for 10" mason jar candles and some for 12" jar candles like Yankee Candle large size & also Williamsburg candles that they sell at Michaels or AC Moore. Just let me know which one you would like and which size.
I've mixed up some of my patterns here and designed some of my own. The pumpkins are made from orange wool felt which was a bit bright for me, so I coffee stained it for a primitive look.
All stitching is blanket stitch with embroidery floss.

Primitive Valentines Day AnGeL cloth DOLL Prim Folk Art hearts -ofg team-

I love this doll! She was a great seller when I made them last year and I think she'll be a hit this year also!
She has a needle sculpted nose and painted eyes and mouth. Her GREAT hair is embroidery floss! I've given her light pink highlights along with red and burgundy.
The angel wings are made of cotton also which I've put quilt batting in and machine quilted them, painted them, then handstitched them to the back of the doll.
Her red slippers are painted on. Her hands are sewn to her body to hold the position and I've added two stuffed hearts accented with just a bit of some red Sweet Annie.
The doll has been tea stained and her clothing has been coffee stained.
She's aprox. 20" tall.
This is a great doll for Valentine's Day, but she could also be left out all year in your shabby chic, romantice room.

This cute little bunny is waiting for a new home! She measures aprox. 10.5 inches high. In her pocket, I've put ivory pip berries, prim stars and some shredded kraft paper. She also has a sunflower on the front of the pocket. Spring flowers will be bloomin' soon!
I've added a grungy hang tag with "Easter Blessings", a rusty bell and attached with a rusty safety pin.

The background wool felt is nice and bumpy from being felted. It's a tan color and I've appliqued grapes and pears.
Everything is handstitched by me. The pears are stitched with yellow perle cotton, the stems with dark green perle cotton, and the leaves with light green perle cotton floss. The grapevines are backstitched with brown perle cotton floss.
This tablemat is tow layers of tan wool felt sewn together by hand with yellow perle cotton.

This ornament has vine garland with prim stars and a pumpkin. I have handstitched the design, then coffee stained it and baked it in the oven for a grungy look. Then I did a running stitch to attach the cotton to a muted, dark green wool felt. The stitching is hidden and not seen on the back. I then put on a strand of embroidery floss for you to hang it. This piece measures aprox. 3" X 4.25".

Pineapple welcome doll made of wood with jute twine hair. Very prim!
I cut her out myself, then painted her and sanded for a distressed look, then antiqued it. Her hair is jute twine with homespun fabric pieces. She has a sawtooth hanger on the back.
It measures aprox. 20" tall.

Love this doll for your kitchen! She's made to hold your plastic bags in the kitchen. Her name is Miss Faye. She's made of cotton that I painted and sanded for a worn look. Her dress is made of quilt shop fabric that has roosters on it. The apron is a plaid cotton homespun and I've attached a section of a pancake & waffle mix bag. To add a bit of whimsy and a cinnamon scent, I sewed on a little Raggedy Ann doll that has been primmed up with cinnamon.
Miss Faye's lips are stuffed and then handstitched on. Her nose is needle sculpted and her eyes are handpainted. Her hair is sheep's wool from TN and has been sewn on with tiny stitches to keep it in place.

Great addition to any farmhouse, country kitchen. She's a pretty big girl, measuring in at aprox. 27" tall.

She is handmade by me, using a You Are Special pattern.

The frame is solid wood and I've painted it black, then distressed it to look more primitive. The frame opening is aprox. 3" x 4.5". The frame has a sawtooth hanger on the back.

I did this cute little WINKING snowman to fit in a frame with a 2"x2" opening. The outside of the frame is about 4.25" square.
I did this punch needle in a prim Christmas red thread, then put it in the prim perfect frame. I have painted the frame black, then distressed it and antiqued it. I also added a sawtooth hanger on the back so that you can use it as a wall hanging for your primitive Christmas decorating.
