ACEO stands for Art Card Editions, Originals. They are a spin-off of ATCs, which stands for Artist Trading Cards. ATCs have a history of being traded as promotional material among artists, with an emphasis on trading, not selling. The ACEO has been popularized by both artists and collectors. They are fun to make and created with selling rather than trading in mind, therefore they are typically offered at affordable prices. ACEOs can be made from any material but must be 2.5x3.5” in size.
