GREEN FLORAL RAGGY QUILT PURSE/TOTE made with a PRETTY MULTICOLOR (yellow, burnt orange, dark red flowers) FLORAL COTTON FABRIC and TWO GREEN FLORAL COTTON FABRICS for the outside squares and the LIGHT GREEN FLORAL FABRIC for the inside. The handles and closure are made from dark green floral fabric. The handles have been quilted with batting for extra softness. ONE LARGE POCKET and TWO SMALLER POCKETS using DARK GREEN FLORAL FABRIC are sewn inside to hold car keys, cell phone, checkbook, etc. Each square has been lined with WARM AND NATURAL BATTING and INTERFACING and each square has been stitched with an X. Dimensions are approx. 8" high X 12" wide with a gusset of 4" and a handle drop of approx. 12". You will also receive a base piece made out of plastic canvas, batting, and the green inside fabric. This will give your purse extra stability.

All seams for the squares are DOUBLE-SEWN and the handles and closure strap are TRIPLE-SEWN to the purse. A COMPLEMENTARY BUTTON is added for the PERFECT FINISHING TOUCH. This purse has been washed and dried once to start the ragging process. I wash each purse using a normal cold water cycle and dry using a low heat setting. Cozy Blue Plaid and Gingham Lap Rag Quilt

COZY BLUES PLAID AND GINGHAM RAG QUILT is made with two pretty plaids in blues and green and a blue and white gingham homespun. Two shades of blue flannel squares make up the back layer. A white flannel is used for the batting and gives the seams that extra soft fluffiness. I think the blue plaid fabric is a slightly darker aqua color than my camera could pick up. It's a deeper, richer color. Approximate size is 42" x 48", the perfect size for a cozy lap quilt!

All of the seams and outer edges have been double sewn. Each square has been quilted with an x. This quilt has been washed and dried once to start the ragging process. I wash each quilt using a normal cold water cycle and dry using a low heat setting. You can iron it if you like a crisper look. Your RAG QUILT will become even more RAGGY and SOFT with each washing.

REDS AND GOLDS FLORAL RAG QUILT TOTE/PURSE made with 3 BEAUTIFUL FLORAL COTTON FABRICS in REDS, GOLD, AND A HINT OF GREEN. A beautiful tote to carry everyday!

I've made this tote with squares that include FLANNEL, INTERFACING, and WARM AND NATURAL BATTING and they are stitched with an X. These specially made 6 layer squares make a much sturdier tote than a normal rag quilt tote and the seams are SUPER FLUFFY! These thicker totes are perfect for heavier items. Because of the complexity of making the sturdier 6 layer totes, I won't be adding any more to my store after the one I'm working on right now. I will take custom orders for them, though. There are a few of them that are still available for purchase in my shop.

The handles have been quilted with batting for extra softness. A quilted vine stitch has been used on the handles. ONE EXTRA LARGE POCKET and THREE SMALLER POCKETS are sewn inside to hold car keys, cell phone, checkbook, etc. The picture of the inside is dark, so it's hard to tell that the inside fabric is the same as the red tone on tone outside fabric with pretty pockets made from the outside red floral fabric. The tote has OUTSIDE POCKETS ON EACH SIDE, too! LOTS of POCKETS!!

Dimensions are approx. 12" high X 12" wide with a gusset of 4" and a handle drop of approx. 12". You will also receive a base piece made out of plastic canvas, batting, and the cotton fabric. This will give your tote extra stability.

All seams for the squares are DOUBLE-SEWN and the handles and closure strap are TRIPLE-SEWN to the purse. A COMPLEMENTARY BUTTON is added for the PERFECT FINISHING TOUCH. This purse has been washed and dried once to start the ragging process. I wash each purse using a normal cold water cycle and dry using a low heat setting. Washing of the base piece is not recommended. The handles and closure may need to be touched up with an iron. Your PURSE will become even more RAGGY and SOFT with each washing.

This pincushion is made using a PRETTY PINK SWIRLS COTTON FABRIC. Each side has white flannel used as batting and a white backing fabric to help rag up the seams. Each side has been quilted with an X and the pincushion has been stuffed with polyester fiberfill. Two different complementary BUTTONS have been sewn on the top and the bottom, so you can use both sides. The dimensions are approx. 4 1/2" square and 2" high.

I have started the ragging process by washing and drying the pincushion. You can wash in a normal cold cycle and dry using a gentle cycle if needed. After the pincushion has been dried, you can fluff the raggy edges up with your fingers. It is best to let the pincushion set out to dry thoroughly for a couple of days to make sure the fiberfill is dry.
