This scarf is called Picnic at Black Rock. Black Rock is a place near where I live. It's right by the River Severn and usually very muddy with little clumps of samphire growing amongst the rocks. There's never anywhere to put your picnic blanket but we go there anyway. Sometimes you can find tiny shells and gull feathers. Don't tell anyone though. It's a secret...

This scarf is very, very long. Careful you don't go trailing it in the mud! Wear it long or wrap it around and around yourself (don't get stuck now!). You can even pull it over your head and make a hood type arrangement. Genius.

The actual measurements of the scarf are 109 inches long by 6.5 inches wide. That's a massive nine foot of scarf! It's knitted from 100% acrylic wool which is lovely and soft and, most importantly, not itchy for those with allergies.

It was knitted like a great big tube and then joined together at the ends so it's made up of not one but two layers of knitting and there are no nasty hard edges. 100% cuddly softness.

You may machine wash it at 40°, tumble dry it on a cool cycle and you can iron it on a low setting too. You can even dry clean it if you want to. This scarf is not fussy.

This scarf has all the colours of Black Rock in it. Mustard yellow like those little flowers I don't know the name of, chocolate brown like the earth, mocha like the gull feathers and oatmeal like my flapjack. Yummy.

I really cannot emphasise how extra lovely this scarf is. And remember, scarves are not just for winter. They're also great for cuddling up on the sofa with and lassoing your dog.

This hat and scarf is called Winter in the White Wood. I can see the White Wood out of my window. In the spring the trees are covered in white blossom, which is where it gets in name, but in the winter it's all greens and browns. Step inside the White Wood and it's like being in a wonderful dappled and leafy cave. I'm pretty sure there are fairies although I haven't seen one... yet...

The scarf is very, very long. Mind you don't get it tangled in a briar bush! Wear it long or wrap it around and around yourself (don't get stuck now!).

The actual measurements of the scarf are 98 inches long by 5.5 inches wide. That's a massive eight foot of scarf! It's knitted from 100% acrylic wool which is lovely and soft and, most importantly, not itchy for those with allergies.

It's knitted with nice thick wool. Quite loose knit and stretchy too. It's super-soft and oh so cuddly. You'll be finding excuses to go outside just so you can wear it!

The hat is knitted from the same wool as the scarf and it's stretchy too. Probably the most comfortable hat you will ever own. It's good for all sizes of head. Boys and girls. It might be quite loose on you if you have a small head though. The hat is turned up at the bottom and stitched into place to keep you looking tiptop.

You may machine wash both hat and scarf at 40°, tumble dry them on a cool cycle and you can iron them on a low setting too. You can even dry clean them if you want to. They're not fussy.

This hat and scarf set has all the colours of the forest woven into it. Browns, greens and a hint of sunshine... Oh, and if you do want to go hunting for fairies this set is perfect. You'll blend right into the woodland :)
