Ho Ho HO! Merry Chrtistmas! I have made up a trio of special Santa's for your consideration this Holiday season~ I have hand sculpted them in mache, with mache mitten hands, and hanging candle lanterns. These are Santa PICKS~
they are permanently attached to a bamboo spike, so you can stick them into your Holiday greenery, wreaths, table
centerpieces ect for a special added holiday touch! Rusty wire and jingle bells accent the spike, and jingle ever
so softly when they move. I really like the movement in my pieces, and each of their lanterns is attached in a way
that they wiggle and swing at the slightest movement, which really catches your eye. Each wears a read SILK coat trimmed in rabbit fur, with real lambswool beards, moustaches and ~wild~ eyebrows! Each is a one of a kind DimaondK Folk Art Original, and I know you will love them!

This listing is for the Santa you see pictured~ he is holding his lantern center front and is 5.25" tall. Overall length to the tip of his bamboo spike is 9.75"

Do you love Queen Anne dolls and need one to reign over your Christmas tree? 'Frank' can do just that! She is my Christmas Ornament design for 2009, and just precious precious precious!! I can see an entire tree done in these~ especially if you are a dolly lover. They would make a perfect gift too :)
She is ONE OF A KIND! I sculpted her head and arms from mache and gave her a pretty primitive painted face. She is 7" tall, with crimson silk gown and antique lace bonnet. I have wired her around her waist to hang her on the tree.... or a bed post....or an UNLIT taper candle up on your mantle.....she is so small and petit and perfect, I love her and I KNOW you will too!

OoAk Primitive Folk Art Thanksgiving Pumpkin Pilgrim Doll SET

Please meet William & Mary Brewster, a very special One of aKind SET of Punkin Pilgrims for this Thanksgiving. Both are Diamond K Folk Art original, one of a kind dollys. If you don'tknow the history of Mary Brewster, I hope you will please see my BLOG to read more about her! You will get BOTH dollys- they were made as a set, and are sold ONLY, as a set.

I sculpted both their heads and arms from paper mache, then painted them wee little eyes, and skully punkin noses. William sports a sculpted mache moustache & goatee beard. Whole cloves make their punkin stems atop their heads! Bodies are cloth with painted lower legs & shoes. William & Mary are dressed in period correct attire, c1640- all HAND stitched in a beautiful chestnutty brown silk.

Mafster William stands apx 15" & wears his Sundaye dress
Doublett trimed with antique c1880 steele cut buttons down the front. His shoes have little antique fluted silver metal sequins for the buckles. His belt & falling band are from an open weave guaze. He wears awsome hand stitched aged paper cuffs & Puritan hat.

Mifstress Mary is very alert & inquisitive! She stands 13" tall. I sculpted her with her head tilted and turned to the side......women 'do' love to gossip! She wears brown homespun pantaloon(a moderne convience invented by me, as there was no such thing in 1640), and large antique black bows on her slippers. Her skirt I made carefully from a precious snippet of a c1820 quilt I have been saving for 'just' the right dolye! It is hand quilted in a clambshell pattern, over a beautiful brown toile botanical design cotton. It is very worn, and if you look closely,
you can find cotten seeds in the batting poking out here and there. Her bodice is brown silke, with silk covered board stomacher. The pattern on it is true to this period. Her falling band is from the same open weave gauze as William's. Her cuffs and bonnet are hand stitched of aged paper copies of early 18th century newsprint.

I have wired both their arms so you may gently post to your liking. Both come with thier own hang tags & painted & aged wooden dowel stands, which can slide together to get them nice and close- xoxox Both are signed & dated unter the glaze on the back of their shoulders.

Ooak Queen Anne doll Goody Partlett

Mifs Goody Partlett is a Diamond K Folk Art Original, One of a Kind Queen Anne doll. She stands 14" tall to the tip of her flat bergiere bonnet. Her head and arms are hand sculpted in paper mache, and I have given her an absolutely gorgeous set of antique brown glass eyes.
Goody's wardrobe is entirely hand stitched, and consists of hip pads over her cotton petticoat (NO pantaloon, as they did not wear such in the 18th century), skye blue silk skirt and beautiful brown print cotton caraco jacket. Her caraco is an exact reproduction of one c1775. She has
little painted on slippers with chenille puffs at the toes, silke bows trim her dress sleeves and jacket front, and her bergiere bonnet, or flat hat, is from a precious bit of vintage straw plait. Her hair is cotswold wool- sparse and very primitive.
She will come with her own painted wooden dowel stand and hang tags. I am VERY proud to have been selected by Early American Life Magazine as one of America's top 200 craftsmen, and am listed in 2008 and 2009 directories.

OaAk Primitive Mache Halloween Pocket Witch Doll Delores

Delores is a Diamond K Folk Art Original, One of A Kind wee little white witch. She will come with her own wooden painted and aged dowel stand, hang tags and her own hand stitched little black box. She is hand sculpted by me from paper mache, using just my hands no molds! Like all my dolls, she is entirely hand stitched & hand painted, and is signed on the back of her shoulders under the glaze.

I dressed Delores all in white, with a bit of antique stripe silk robings down the front of her gown, and around the brim of her paper hat. I sculpted her with a cute crooked and horn-hooked nose, and pointy witchy-poo chin! Her arms are wired so you can carefully pose her to your liking!

Delores stands just a wee 7" tall! She is 9" on her stand, to the top of the rusty jingly bell on top her pointy paper witchy-poo hat! You can get a better figure of her petit-ness here- her whole head is smaller than a quarter!

Santa's Magical Snowman Ride Make Do

I was very inspired by Ramond Burr's "Snowman"~ its one of my children's favorite Christmas stories. So Magical. My Santa has hitched a ride on this Proud Snowman. This is a Diamond K Folk Art Original Design, and is One of a Kind! All Hand made from cloth, Snowman is flying thru the aire with his green scarf blowing in the wind. He wears black boots with little rusty jingle bells on their tips. His Grande smile is little rusty jingle bells, as are his embroidered eyes. Long crinkly orange carrot nose, and wired top hat. Santa is a ROLY POLY ol Soul with wee little stick legs! He is permanently affixed to his faithful carrier, and holds a long cascade of jingle bells in one hand, and a rusty snowflake in the other. He has a stitched on mohair beard, and suit from hand dyed felted wool. Both sit atop an antique bed post trimmed in Christmassy sisal pine.

Please meet "Hogarth", a very special One of a Kind bunny! I made him with an Olde Fashioned Easter Rabbit in mind.....but when it came to dressing for his picture, he would'nt have anything but a woolen coat just like Peter Cottontail.

Hogarth stands just a smidge under 20" tall, from his sculpted pudgy rabbit feet, to the top of his ears. He is a Diamond K Folk Art Original, One of a Kind~ hand sculpted from paper mache, using just my hands~ no molds! He has pretty sky blue inset solid glass eyes and is entirely hand stitched and painted.

He has a stuffed cloth body, upper arms and legs~ his head, hands & feet are sculpted mache. I wired his upper arms so you can pose them gently. I love his pudgy lil bunny fingers! I hand stitched all Hogarth's clothes~ he wears super soft felted wool trousers, antique linen shirt, and coat made from a sky blue wool that matches his eyes, and trimed with 4 teensy antique brass buttons & silk ribbon at the neck.
He will come with his own sponged wooden dowel stand~ there is a sleeve on his back that it slides into~ covered over by his real rabbit fur tail

Mifs Silence Browne
Silence is a c1760 Queen Anne doll. She stands 17.5" tall and is a Diamond K Folk Art Original, One of a Kind. She is hand sculpted from paper mache, using just my hands~ no molds! Like all my dolls, she is entirely hand stitched & hand painted with much love and devotion to detail. She will come with her own painted and aged wooden dowel stand and presentation box.
Showing her at home 'undress', she wears blush pink knit stockings, pink silk garters, reproduction shift made from antique linen, hand wrapped wire pannier hoop, cloth covered board stays, and antique embroidered mull bonnet. Her eyes are inset antique brown glass, and her hair is chestnut mohair. Her stays(corset) are stitched together, and are lined in the inside with antique pages from a 1871 book on 18th century history in fashion(French).
Silence is a special member of my 'Grande Dames' doll collection. I have taken great pains to make sure all of her clothing is historically accurate, and made as exact reproductions of original period garments. All are fully removable. As a 'Grande Dame' doll, she is eligible to participate in all exclusive parties and programs~ offered to these elete dollys & their owners only!

'Portilina Pickle Pot' is the *Jeanie of Halloweenie*~ my 2009 One of a Kind Halloween Showcase piece.

She is a special little Pocket Punkin, all hand sculpted from paper mache. She resides in her own Pumpkin Jeanie Lamp that is backed with sunset orange silk taffeta with an overlay of antique black net strung with celluloid sequins. The top opens so you may remove her to display on her 3 silk cushions or her own special painted wooden stand. The 3 working hand made paper lamps are powered by 2 AA batteries with on /off switch. Her jeanie lamp measures 9x9x12".
Isnt she just darling!

Herbithia Squashbottom, a Halloween Pumpkin Pin Doll

If you are a lover of primitive pumpkins, like I am, you
will ADORE these new little pin cushion dollys I have
made! This is "Herbithia squashbottom", and she is a wee lil Hallowe'en punkin I have dressed 18th century style. She is one of my new line of pin cushion dollys- for your sewing pins and such, or for keeping your Halloween lapel pins, charms or jewlery in. She is one of a kind, Diamond K Folk Art original, and stands a bit under 7.5" tall. I sculpted her head and arms from mache, and use NO MOLDS!!! Her base is covered in 18th c reproduction newsprint, and she wears her punkin tallisman at her waist.

As you can tell, her dress is a make do pin cushion, made on a paper mache box base- so you can neatly keep your thread and thimble within...or your jewlery, special little surprise or whatever you can think of to fit in there! I must warn you tho~ I have caught this one waddling around my worktable like teh Syrup ladye, stuffing whatever she comes across in her little box...she keeps taking BEADS and insisting they are seeds that need to be planted! I have tried telling her otherwise, but she wont hear of it

She is signed and dated under the glaze on the back of her neck, and will come with her own little hang tags

she is SUCH a character!

Please meet my latest Grande Dame Queen Anne doll, Ladye Georgianna Juniper. She is a One of a Kind, Diamond K Folk Art Original, all hand sculpted by me from paper mache, with inset antique glass eyes. She stands just under 20" tall, and will come with her own hand painted wooden dowel stand, presentation box and hang tags.

I am very proud to have been chosen as one of Early American Life Magazine's Top 200 American Craftsmen in 2008 & 2009

Georgianna is on of my Grande Dame Queen Anne dolls, meaning that all of her clothing are hand stitched reproductions, and they do come on and off for dressing, as does her wig also! If you look at the 'Grande Dames' tag on www.ladysrepositorymuseum.blogspot.com , you will be able to see some of her clothing being made. I dressed her c1740, with period correct wig and clothing. She will come to you with her wardrobe you see on her, including, pantaloon(for modesty's sake...certainly NOT worn in the 18th century), her set of pannier hoops~ cotton over real wood canes; quilted silk taffeta petticoat, stomacher, jacket and wig. She wears a band of real seed pearls in her angora mohair wig, along with a pretty little antique purple velvet flow'r. Neck ruff of antique lace with a wee little antique metal flower shaped sequin. Her jacket and petticaot are matching pink silk taffy, edged in a snow white trim closely resembeling the early fly braids. Her stomacher is seperate, lined on the backside, stiffened and heavily ruched on teh front with pretty peach ribbon. I sculpted her with broken fingers in just the right spots, as most all my dollys have. She wears little coral chenile puffs on her painted on slippers.

I made her box from scratch to specifically fit her, and it is hand inked on the front with my Advertisement and her name. Please convo me if you would like to see additional pictures of Ladye Georgianna

Early 19th Century Mache Art Doll Ladye Flora OoAk

Welcome! Please meet 'Flora'~ she is Fleur's sister(you can see Fleur here in my Etsy store). Her head and arms are sculpted by me from mache, she has cloth body and painted cloth legs. I sculpted Fleur's hair with a single little sausage curl on each side, tall hair comb in the back, and gave her a quaint little painted face. She has been gently aged to look olde, and has been sculpted with a broken finger~
Ready for afternoon tea, Flora wears antique lace trimmed muslin pantaloons down to her ankles, and a beautiful spring dress of antique val lace over a pastel green silk crepe underskirt. Over her short puff sleeves, a modest antique muslin fichu shawl caught with an antique celluloid sequin. Fleur stands 11.5" tall, is One of a Kind, Diamond K Folk Art Original, and will come with her awesome spice painted wooden stand and hang tags.
