Here's a lovely journal created with a vintage French Grammar book cover.

The covers measure about 4" wide and 6 1/4" tall. Included is a mixture of sketch paper, watercolor paper and card stock. There are about 35 pages in all, each is blank.

I added 3 large brass-look binder rings to give you plenty of room, so you can decorate and add to the book. There's a shiny black & gold ribbon tied for decoration.

These are some cool deco-ish hardware store price signs, ready to be turned into a tag or added to an assemblage or journal. The strong color of these will really pop.

They're made of nicely sturdy cardboard, and measure 2 3/4" wide and 2 1/4" tall, with black graphics on a burnt orange background. The price signs are in very good condition with minimal signs of age or use, and crisp edges. They're blank on the back.

Wonderful Post Office flash cards, used by railroad mail employees to study the names and routes of post office locations. They're made from cardstock and have beautiful vintage coloring.

You'll receive a mix of cards from North & South Carolina, Missouri & Virginia. The city or location is printed on the front and center of each, with the state in the bottom right. There's route information on the back, usually with a notation or two in pen or pencil - these were definitely used as study aids!

The cards have either squared or rounded corners and were printed in the late 1940's or early 1960's. They measure 3 1/4" X 1 3/4". The size and shape remind me of Victorian calling cards.

These can be used in so many ways - as tags, on ATCs or ACEOs, on altered cab cards, art journals, and altered books; they're perfect for artistic use! You'll receive 12 assorted cards. The states and location names will vary. There will be no duplicates within a lot.

These are in good vintage condition; no bends or tears, with great color.

These images from an antique French dictionary/encyclopedia include full page illustrations, 2 versions of the same art deco style alphabet and full page illustrations and lovely colored maps.

The alphabet is in the original vintage page color, and in a black & white version, A through Z in both.

The illustration pages are 36 pages of illustrations from the book, with compilations of mammals, birds, ocean life, plants & flowers, minerals & rocks, flags, the human body, manners of dress and more.

There are 29 maps, including almost every country in the world, maps of the continents, and a few different versions of France including a 2 page spread.

Every image is highly detailed.

There are 117 total images in the collection. Each was scanned at 300dpi.

After many requests, I've scanned my collection of antique Logomachy game cards and collected them on disc to share with you. The graphics, colors and illustrations on these cards make them memorable - everyone who sees them wants their own!

This alphabet game originated in 1874 and continued to be popular up to 1900. There are multiple versions of the cards; I have 4 different styles in my collection, each is included here.

Three of the sets follow the same pattern - one style of card for each letter, except for 6 "prize" cards which each have their own design. Two of the sets have a framed bird image; one in black and white, the other is beautifully colored. The third set pictures a little girl watching a bird on a branch outside her window.

The final set has different Victorian images on each card, many children and couples, very pretty.

There are 114 images on each disc: each alphabet letter from each of the 4 sets, plus images from the backs of 7 different decks. You'll also receive altered versions of both framed bird styles, each with the letter removed.

This collection of images shows the actual cards in my collection. Most are in excellent condition, some are a bit faded and you may find an occasional smudge or worn edge visible, just as if you had the card in your hand.

After many requests, I've begun scanning pieces of my antique ephemera collection and creating discs to share with you.

This disc provides beautiful pages from the Tennyson Calendar for 1896, printed by Raphael Tuck & Sons. I found this sweet 5 1/2" X 3 3/4" work of art many years ago and scanned the pages to use in my art. I love the soft colors and romantic illustrations, and have used them again and again.

Interestingly, 1896 and 2009 share the same pattern of days and dates, enabling you to use these pages as a current calendar. Print off pages for a pretty way to manage your days this year.

This disc contains individual 300dpi scans of each of the 12 pages, as well an image combining January through June and one combining July through December. Lastly, the image shown here includes all 12 months.

Another kit version of my popular ephemera books, with all of the components of a regular ephemera book, but in a slightly different format.

Only the covers have been hole punched. The variety of pages, postcards and ephemera you'd normally find are all there, but none have been altered. It's up to you to decide which pages will be in the book and how they'll be inserted.

The kit includes a big assortment of vintage paper pages and vintage ephemera. There are more than 2 dozen pages; a mix from ledgers, cyclopedias, music books, and illustrations. Many are wide enough to insert and fold over. Not all are visible in the picture.

Included with the paper pages you'll find some European postcards, autograph book pages, small order form, Victorian scrap and more.

Also included is more ephemera, including small game cards, tea cards, labels and other treats.

The covers are from an antique book entitled Tennyson's Poems, and features one of the loveliest covers I have ever seen. The covers measure about 7 1/2" X 4 3/4" and show minor signs of wear.

Three binder rings are included, as well as a hand dyed silk ribbon to tie on for decoration.

After many requests, I've begun scanning pieces of my antique ephemera collection and creating discs to share with you.

There are 48 beautiful full color illustrations in this 1930s children's science book collection. There are lots of nature illustrations, children in both home and at school settings, gardening images, animals and more. The illustrations were created by a handful of artists and the styles vary from crisp nature observations all the way through to misty family life illustrations saturated with color.

Images were scanned at 300dpi from a small classroom size book, these illustrations are partial or full page. As you would expect, there's some pixelation noticable if you choose to enlarge.

There are 46 individual images in the collection, plus 2 already designed collage sheets. Each image was scanned at 300dpi.

Here's one of a group of children's book covers I've collected and turned into versatile journals and albums.

"The Little White House" has a great cover image of a girl on her pony. She's waving to her mother, who stands in the doorway of a (rather large) white house. The cover is a gorgeous turquoise blue, very striking. There's a library pocket still inside.

The covers measure 5 3/4" wide and 8 1/4" tall. I added 3 black binder rings and tied on a shiny yardstick pattern ribbon for fun. Included are about 24 pages of blank sketch paper and a half dozen pages each of watercolor paper and black cardstock. All are blank.

Here are some nice lots of vintage numbered brass tags. These were used to identify tools, livestock, keys, whatever!

The tags have been cleaned and have little tarnish. There are some scratches, a few bent edges - typical wear.

Each of these tags is numbered on one side & blank on the other. Some have the letter C before the numbers. Most appear to have been hand, not machine stamped.

The tags are flat and measure 1 3/4" long and 1 1/2" at the widest point. The openings are 1/2", a nice substantial size for a variety of fasteners.

Here's one of a group of covers I've collected of children's books and turned into versatile journals and albums.

"Tom and Susan" has a marvelous cover image of a boy and girl swinging each other around - action packed! It's a playful image for a fun journal.

The covers measure 5 1/4" wide and 8" tall. I added 3 binder rings and tied on a shiny yardstick pattern ribbon. Included are about 24 pages of blank sketch paper and a half dozen pages each of watercolor paper and black cardstock. All are blank.

The book is one-of-a-kind. It's ready to personalize in it's current format; and you can remove and replace pages to tailor it for you.

I've been saving an assortment of glass & metal charms in perfume bottle styles, in anticipation of doing something fun with them.

Instead, they're sitting in a drawer and no one is enjoying them. So I'm letting them go. These are around 10 years old, not antiques, and were salvaged off damaged jewelry.

This is lot C: 4 charms with clear AB finish beads and crystals, with antique brass colored metal findings. The pictures are picking up a of colors from the AB finish - the crystal beads are clear. Each charm measures about 1 1/4" in length.

Illustration pages from the US Commissioner of Patents Reports have always been some of my favorite artistic ephemera. During the mid 1800's the report was published in separate volumes; one with the descriptions of the inventions and the other with illustrations of each entry.

You’ll receive 12 of these wonderful illustration pages. There is no text, just the patent number with each illustration, so you'll have to guess at the functions!

The illustrations are very detailed, and show primarily mechanical inventions. These pages make incredible backgrounds and accents; they have a nice weight and feel, and gorgeous vintage color. They're only a bit spotted or worn in places, there are no rips or tears - amazing condition for pages of this age.

Here's a fun handmade album for displaying photographs and altering with your own images and embellishments. It's made with a vintage photographer's album which measures about 4 3/4" X 6 3/4".

I've inserted black cardstock to create 8 pages, (or 16 sides) in a variety of lengths. Two sides are folded into triangular pockets so you can hide little tidbits.

There's a handwritten notation on the cover which says Nancy 4 yrs. The frame insert is still attached in back and contains a photo of a little girl in ringlets. She can be removed if you carefully pry up the frame, but I thought it was fun to include her.

The pages are held in with a butterscotch ribbon. The flap closes with an elastic band and is decorated with a fancy brad.
