for those of you who saw the blue bird bookends in Better Homes and Gardens, this is a little holiday variation! the nest is made with brown thread along with some fuzzy soft yarn, to give it that "real" nest look. and the lovely bird with branches is a holly red.

this listing is for the pair of bookends unfilled. there is a convenient velcro bottom for filling these with whatever you'd like: popcorn, beans, rice, pebbles...even sand!

simple, lovely ornament for the christmas season; baby jesus wrapped in swaddling clothes. measuring approx 5x5, some are 4x4 approx, so they vary a bit. he rests in the primitive manger all handstitched. it's then filled with polyfil.
i added a piece of twine to add to the simplicity of this special ornament.
a great gift or addition to your holiday decor. beautiful on a tree or door.

little snowman ornament

precious, and oh so sweet. my mother, julie, actually made this little guy and she's testing it out on my pillowhappy shop. i think it's going to be a big hit.

snowman measures around 4x5" on a natural linen like fabric and hangs from a simple piece of twine. (also stuffed with polyfil) she handstitched the tiny detailed snowflakes into the red hat, added the carrot and of course the adorable stick like arms. i love this thing. she better make me one! :}

great for not only a tree, but makes for a darling door hanging as well. wonderful, of course, for gifts for friends and family.

okay, we've all heard our mom's and dad's warn us as we go out to play in the snow: "don't eat the yellow snow"!

Gross! but funny.

this listing is for one "peed on" snowball (yellow food coloring, don't worry). the snowball measures around 6" across and i've used the softest, fuzziest felt, and stuffed with a popcorn and rice mixture. please see my other listing of white snowballs if not interested in the "peed on" ones....

they look like real snowballs! yet feel soft.....my kindof snowball....no mittens required! plus, they never melt.

made of fuzzy white felt, these little guys work great as bookends, decoration for the holidays on mantels, and side tables, AND when the holiday family time turns a bit dull, well....someboday start a snowball fight! (they're filled with a rice/popcorn mixture).

i know the holiday season is approaching, but when i came across these lovely vintage vera napkins (round), well.....who can wait for Spring? not me!

a wonderfully painted butterfly pops with oranges, reds and yellows....so happy.

this pilllow/cushion is round measuring approx 16" across and about 5 inches deep. i believe the fabric is linen, and the fabric used for the remaining pillow is a wonderful soft cotton. (off white to match). it's stuffed with completely soft poly fil.

huggable, and oh so fashionable.....i love this pillow! but, i will say, i only have 8 of these. and i'm not sure how many i'm willing to part with ! :} i'll try to be generous though....i love my customers so!

and quite a journey at that! i hand stitched this pillow cover with a pink embroidery thread and added some orange soft fleece in the flower's center. if you turn the pillow over, you'll see that one more flower made it's way onto the back of the cover....

my little nest door hanging

i'm loving the organic feel of this nest and eggs. measuring 5x5", i hand stitched the "sticks" and also the soft grey and creme fleece eggs, mixing in some soft yarn for that "real nest" look....
this little nest can nestle quite nicely on a door or wall for that matter. anyone who has a thing for nature will enjoy this mini nest. it's actually a mini pillow in that i stuffed the cotton with poly fil and topped it with a natural twine tie.
simple and lovely. for easter. for spring.

Pillows really do come to the rescue, don't they? I know this one does. Made with soft creme fleece topped with a machine stitched fleece red cross. Simple, urban and cool. Measures approx 14x14 and has an envelope back for easy removal to wash. (by hand please in cold water!)

i just love soup. and i love pillows...both are so comforting...

this upcycled tea towel is an extra soft cotton; a sweet pillow for a bed, bench or side chair! the orange/red of the soup bowl really pops against the retro yellow in this pillow. i can't stop staring at it.

fits a 12x16 snuggly, and has a natural cotton envelope backing for easy on and off.
