This super scarf is from my own handspun wool artyarn in ultra bright sunny colors with copper sparkle, plied with silk thread, with coils throughout. I crocheted it into this long skinny scarf that will brighten your outfit and really make you shine!

The scarf measures just under 2" wide, by 88" long including the poofy fringe, and could also be worn as a belt.

This handspun is a total mystery to me. I have little to no recollection of what I spun it from, or when. I have a sneaking suspicion that I got the fiber at NYSWF in 2008, and that it was a farm roving and possibly?? plant dyed. The fiber is a total mystery, but it has amazing qualities. It has a glow like mohair or Wensleydale, but seems too soft for either of those fibers. I think it would work as next-to-skin soft for most people. The yarn I spun from it is a bulky spun singles that has a halo which will continue to develop when working/wearing it. I'd make this skein into a hat.

My memory loss is your gain. 4 full ounces of handspun, ultra bulky, avg. 6wpi, thick and thin. Total of about 53 yards. I probably paid at least $12 for the fiber before spinning...

Mysterious is a luxurious, ultra soft singles, handspun from mystery fibers in mysterious reds and purples with heathered flecks of yellows and blues. I spun it from a farm roving that I purchased at the NY Sheep and Wool Festival in 2008. I didn't label the roving, so I'm not positive, but I think the fibers include wool and alpaca. It MAY also include silk or angora, though I'm truly not sure of the content, except that there are no synthetic fibers in it.

This is a super soft singles that is fairly consistent around 7-9 wpi. Would make a fabulous next-to-skin item, and the colors would work well for men or women. Approximately 110 yards, and a heavy and warm 7.4 ounces.

This lovely set of two small skeins totaling about 42 yards, is handspun by me, from soft alpaca, spun directly from the uncarded locks, with horsehair (silk) curls in matching tones added for texture. I plied it with a very thin merino wool yarn.

Colors range from nearly white to greens and deep blues. These would make great wrist warmers or a small hat. Bulky but thick thin and wildly irregular. Lots of fun to work with.

It's about 5.5 supercoiled yards I spun from a drum carded batt I mixed from Wensleydale wool locks hand dyed green, Bluefaced Leicester Wool, white Irish linen, wool, mohair, white and lime angelina. It's plied/coiled on a linen yarn.

It would make a great trim on a knitted or crocheted item, to use for couching on your fiber art, make into a necklace, or use as a scrapbook trim or whatever you dream up.

The "Gnome Dome" is my own creation, one of a kind knit without a pattern. Yarn is my own handspun navajo-plied (3ply) that I spun from farm raised wool-mohair blend roving in a nice green-gray-bluish color scheme. I got the roving from etsy seller SpinningMoonFarm.

Gnome Dome measures about 17 inches in circumference, and will be suitable for a baby average age of 12 months (anywhere from 6mo to 18mo, depending on their head size).

Hand wash cool to warm with gentle soap, do not agitate. Reshape to block/dry.

The "Brilliant" hat is my own creation, one of a kind, knit without a pattern. Yarn is my own handspun--a combination of an off white wool that I navajo-plied (I think it's Bluefaced Leicester). The artyarn is a singles I spun from my own batt of bright blue wool, black mohair, fluorescent pink sparkle and other fibers. It is a simple rolled brim design with a slight point at the top.

Brilliant measures about 22 inches in circumference, and will be suitable for a large child to small (possibly medium) adult. My model's head is about 20.5 in circumference.

These fibers are commercial tops that have been hand dyed by small cottage industry dyers. Pulled from my stash and blended three times on the drum carder for a fairly homogenous mixture that should make a medium to fine yarn with ease.

Another fun yarn set in blues and whites with about 166 yards in the set! Use all 4 skeins for one amazing project, or use each skein to trim items made from other yarns, and make your own "set".

This set changes from an all blue skein to mostly white ones. The bi-color ones will stripe randomly with few color changes. The Blues are from a kitchen sink type batt with mostly Shetland Wool and some other assorted fibers and sparkle. There are sections of blue-green spun entirely from un-carded hand dyed locks (from hollyeqq.com) and the white is a fabulous fuzzy Coopworth Wool Roving. All four skeins are plied with a commercial mohair blend yarn for a fuzzy finish. In spots, there are thick details where I let the plying yarn wind on around to make bulky bumps in the yarn.

This yarn is randomly bulky, but averages between 6 and 9 wpi. I would use big needles (US 13's and up) to knit.

"Glow" is an overspun singles yarn that I spun from a farm roving I got at one of the Sheep and Wool Festivals. It's a Wool-Silk blend in bright pinkish red with white undertones (I think the silk was undyed). The yarn is fairly consistent at about 12-14wpi.

Approximately 155 yards, 3.7 ounces.

Cotton Candy handspun wool art yarn with glass seed beads. 82 yards

This delicious yarn was spun from my own drum carded blend of wool in pink and white, with burgundy Merino, shimmery highlights of silk, gold iris sparkle for a warm rich glow, touches of blue-lilac banana fiber. All plied with random soft coils and many clear and pale pink glass seed beads, strung on the plying yarn--a thin mercerized cotton in pink.

The result is a thick and thin 2 ply that averages around 7-8 wpi. 82 yards, 4.4 oz. I think I'd choose my US 11 needles or larger, and go for a somewhat loose, drop-stitch style scarf to show off the curls and beads.

In the last picture I circled the beads in bright green, so you can get an idea of just how many there are. They're too subtle to photograph well.

Winter wonderland is my own original hand knit hat design in winter white and subtle blues. Made with the spirit of the winter sky and icicles and sparkle and snowflakes in mind. It is a simple design with wide ribs at the bottom edge and crochet fringe at the top as a whimsical finishing touch.

Made from my own handspun yarn containing wool, bamboo, silk, ecospun (recycled soda bottles), sparkle, a mohair/nylon plying yarn, frosted blue glass beads and pale blue and white paillettes (sequins).

A mix of dark browns with a touch of gold, this simple yet elegant collar was hand knit by me in the round in a simple ribbing pattern. I purchased this beautiful, bulky handspun yarn from Houndscroft Farm. It's a soft llama fiber spun on a wool core and plied with a gold/brown mohair yarn. The collar scarf looks great with either the top or bottom rolled, or it can be opened up to cover from your neck to your nose! It measures about 7 inches tall, with a slight flare at the bottom edge.
