Set of two quilted wall hangings, each 13 inches square, suitable for framing or for hanging as is. (Hooks not included.) Fabric is cotton batik in various sunflower prints, framed with alternating sunflowers and light blue-on-blue daisy tonal print. Machine quilted using blue/green variegated cotton thread. Hand bound with dotted navy batik.

These are also neat as placemats, especially for smaller tables and round tables --- big enough for a dish and cup, small enough not to overlap.

New, handmade baby quilt. Consists of 6 inch rail fence blocks in a variety of blue prints, each set on the diagonal in yellow tone on tone prints. There is a one and one-half inch border in a blue print with toy airplanes and fluffy clouds. This is also the backing and one of the two binding fabrics. Finished size is 42 inches by 52 inches. All fabric, batting and thread is designer quality 100% cotton. Quilt is machine pieced and hand-guided machine quilted, then bound by hand. The blue squares are quilted in a square maze, and the yellows are quilted in spirals, figure 8's and loops ---- aerobatic maneuvers befitting the featured fabric --- perfect for a future pilot or flight attendant! This quilt is large enough to serve as a nap/snuggle blanket well into childhood.

Comes with new, 12 inch "ty Classic" bear (Charisse) holding her own, coordinating quilt. This combo makes a great baby shower gift -- guaranteed to get oohs and aahs! (Bear is not intended as a toy for children under 3.)

All quilts are washed to prevent color bleeding and to enhance the quilting stitches. We use Dreft baby detergent with a double rinse cycle, and tumble dry without fabric softener to protect baby's delicate skin. Laundry instructions are included for future machine washing and drying.

This cute quilted wallhanging is 23 inches square. Perfect for a little girl's room. The center section features green and pink polka dot fabric in three-inch pinwheel blocks, with three applique hearts overlaying. There is an one-inch inner border of lavender polka dots, an half-inch yellow polka dot middle border (matching the edge binding) and a three inch border of multi-colored hearts. The backing fabric is pale green dots. The center is quilted with echoing hearts around the appliques, and random linked hearts overall. A hanging sleeve can be attached to the back, if desired.

This unusual 3-D wall hanging is 20x23 inches and features five "crooked log cabin" mini-quilts that are attached to a larger background quilt. The mini-quilts are in various bold colors and prints, and are embellished with metallic thread, buttons, ribbons, beads and yarns. Each small log cabin is quilted in the ditch, and quilting stitches echo the shapes of each block onto the larger quilt. The background, backing and hanging sleeve are all done in the same light turquoise fabric with multi-colored polka dots. The corners are a black confetti print, and matching applique triangles along the edges create a pieced border effect.

All fabric and batting is designer quality 100% cotton. Because of the embellishments and general construction, this piece has not been pre-laundered. It could be gently hand-washed in cold water if necessary, laid flat to dry, and ironed if needed.

This unique throw/lap/wallhanging quilt consists of nine curved log cabin blocks in nine different colors. Each colorway contains 5 different fabrics, plus 5 ecru fabrics to create the background. There is a one-and-one-half inch wide beige outer border, and a brown print binding. The backing fabric is a tan on tan print. The ecru background areas are quilted in a dense stipple pattern; the colored areas are quilted in an arc pattern to enhance the "circle" effect. (The are actually no curved pieces in the blocks!) All fabric, batting and thread is designer quality 100% cotton. The quilt is machine pieced and hand-guided machine quilted, then bound by hand. The central focus of this one-of-a-kind quilt is a pre-printed 32 x 42" pictorial panel with an African animal theme. Surrounding this panel are 14 nine-inch piece-framed animal blocks, eight narrow split rail blocks, and four wide split rails. There is a three-inch wide gold outer border on each side, and ten-inch wide top and bottom borders in a gorgeous gold and brown print with gold etching. The backing fabric features animals and plants in bold, colorful outlines on a black background --- sort of a "neon jungle!" The label area has a similar print on a yellow background. The quilt is hand-bound with gold fabric.

Each block/square is outline-quilted with gold colored thread, and the central animals/maps on all pictorial blocks are also outline quilted.

Please note that this is a quilt, not a comforter or bedspread. At 58 x 82" it will cover the surface area of a twin mattress (typically 39 x 75") and allow for about a nine and a half inch overhang on each side and seven inches at the bottom.

This stunning wall hanging or lap quilt is 40 inches square and features multiple hand-dyed cotton batik fabrics. It consists of nine 12" Radiating Stars of green, purple, blue and copper on coordinating pastel backgrounds. There is a narrow gold batik inner border, and a wider green and purple outer border that matches the quilt backing. The pieced binding echoes the colors of the nearest star block. The center of each star is quilted in a square maze pattern. All background areas are densely stipple quilted, which makes the star points really "pop out" for a 3-D effect. A variegated green thread was used in the bobbin, which blends with the backing and sometimes gives a "dotted" effect on the front to echo the batik dots.

The neatest thing about the Radiating Star block is the secondary patterns that emerge when the blocks are joined together; each time you look at it you see something different! See photos below and note the center main star with it's radiating points, the smaller hollow stars where the blocks meet at the corners, and the square-in-a-square-in-a square-in-a-square where sides meet. You'll find bow ties and hourglasses, too --- all of which create a very interesting piece of wall art!

This small but striking quilted wall-hanging consists of one "Exploding Star" block, done in a beautiful dark purple batik on a mottled light lavender background. The block is framed by a one inch dotted lavender batik inner border and a two inch outer border of the main fabric. The backing and hand-sewn binding repeat the inner border fabric. There is a four inch hanging sleeve attached.

This piece is quilted in the ditch using a purple polyester thread, to give it more "sparkle" than my usual cotton thread.
