This is slightly smaller than the first Ocean Floor focal bead I just listed. But it is still a great, organic focal bead with a hint of sparkle from all of the silver I melted into the ivory. It reminds me of the ocean floor looking at sand through super cool/clear blue water.

The base beads are made out of ivory, which has some great veining running through it from being in the flame for a period. But what I love the most is this transparent turquoise glass that I melted on top in winding waves. The deeper and wider it gets, the more color there is to pop out in blues, aquas and a little green. The narrower parts of these rivers become darker and a little less detailed, like it is moving farther & farther away from you. They remind me of the Colorado River working its way through the Grand Canyon. An awesome silver outline can be seen separating this cool glass from the ivory. Seven beads all measuring in around 8x14mm.

I was listening to this song when making the beads and they have a bit of an ethereal quality to them with the lightness of the amber and great shades of purple. Three have swirls of the same glass on the exterior of the clear, which have more of a metallic finish. This fun set of nine beads is graduated in size from 6x11mm to 7x13mm.

One very cool cylinder bead with a spiral of color shooting from one end to the other under a heavy layer of clear. There are gorgeous purples, blues and ambers in this spiral that seem very ethereal in nature. At one end, you will see bubbles of air coming up from the core of the bead in between the purple & blue spirals which provides a little more depth when looking through the bead.

This bead measures 35x13mm

Eye candy for any beader, these little babies are a gorgeous deep red (perhaps I should try crummy lighting, because the sun gleamed through these in their photo session and they lean towards pink in some of the pics. They really are a deep Sangria red that will catch your breath) with swirls of Elphaba green. There are some metals in the green glass, which caused a reaction which you can see in how the green separated and created an outline in itself if you look closely.

These ten beads all measure close to 10x13mm.

Petrol Green Squiggle Lampwork beads - Kelleysbeads SRA

I had fun making up a ton of turquoise sky blue twisties with clear and then wrapping them around ivory beads in a spiral from one hole to the other. So I did the same with these, but using petrol green instead of the blue glass. Each bead is different because the twisties varied in size/intensity of colors with each turn (a twisty is made by melting one rod of glass onto another and then twisting each rod in opposite directions very quickly to make a long, thin twisted rod of glass that is similar in appearance to a candy cane), which is excellent for providing you with unique beads to make your jewelry one-of-a-kind.

There are seven of these beads which all show dark outlines between the green and ivory glass. This is because ivory reacts to glass with metals in them, like this green where the metals easily come to the surface where it touches the ivory glass. These all come close to measuring 11x16mm.

This great worry stone bead is a little more compact than my others, but still the same magnetic pull to the side with texture. Bumpy on one and melted smooth on the other. The base bead is ivory with a gorgeous tropical blue patiently winding its way around the bead to get your eyes moving when your fingers stop. This bead measures 36mm hole-to-hole, 32mm across and 13mm thick.

This was a fun glass to work with and I loved all the colors that came out of it. When I took the mandrels out of the kiln, I was excited about these beads. They give me this industrial vibe and have many copper red and green tones in them, as well as some purples. All around, there is this metallic sheen which is probably what makes them feel more industrial to me than glass.

These eight beads are all around 10x18mm, but it varies depending on where the spirals are during the measuring process.
