We all know that mad scientist Frankenstein created a giant 8 foot monster with a bolt through his neck, but did you know that he also created a plush version, probably to cuddle up to in bed?

No? Well here's the proof. Frankenstein's Plush Monster may measure only 10" tall, but he's just as menacing as the real thing. Of course it turned out that he wasn't really that menacing at all, just misunderstood. Quite a softie at dead unbeating heart really (Go read the book! Or more likely look it up on Wikipedia like I did!).

Frankenstein's Plush Monster measures approx 10" (25cm) x 7.5" (19cm), and as his arms are zombie-style, they stick out 4.5" (11cm).

Here comes the pollen! I mean, summer. Well they're one and the same to me and millions of other desperate hayfever sufferers.

Pollen is the enemy, but sometimes the best way to destroy an enemy is to make him a friend. So cuddle up to this plush pollen grain, cavort with him, bond with him and your hayfever may just melt away (Disclaimer: of course it actually won't).

Arch-nemesis of Plushie the Vampire Slayer. Legend in his own right. This is Vamplush the Vampire.

He may look harmless but those fangs can really do some damage. Well, they could do, but old Vamplush has given up the biting game and prefers just to sup on a glass of warm blood before bedtime.

If you ask me, he's gone a bit soft since he watched an episode of Angel.

Vamplush measures approx 10" (25cm) x 9.5" (24cm). He is wearing an attached cape lined with red fleece and tied with red ribbon.

Lets face it, we all know someone with a brain the size of a small country. While some take great pleasure in flaunting their enlarged cerebrums, others are a little more modest and may even need reminding just how clever they really are.

He may be a little overweight, constantly hungry and a stranger to exercise, but that doesn't make him a bad plushie does it?

Sizable Stomach is a member of the 'Insiders', a family of plushies, each with a special anatomical feature, and character to match. Insiders feel most at home with humans of a similar disposition. And sadly, in this case, I expect that is most of us!

This is a cute little notebook featuring 2 unusual furry animals - the DuckBunny and the BunnyDuck!

Little is known about these elusive creatures, except that they respond warmly to a carrot sandwich, especially if made with cheap white bread and thrown at them by children.
Photos capture a unique glimpse of these creatures in the wild!

This is a fab notebook measuring 6.5" (16.5cm) x 8.5" (21.5cm). The pages inside are lined so it makes a great ideas or lists book.

The cover is made of durable laminated 350gsm card, the 75 sheets of paper (150 pages) are 100gsm, and they are matt silver spiral bound.

There are even photos on the reverse as well.

Based on the famous drawing of Leonardo da Vinci, this is The Vitruvian Plush on canvas!

Leonardo's work depicted a nude male figure in two superimposed positions, so my plush version has 2 sets of arms and legs!

The round canvas measures approx 12" (30cm) in diameter, and is painted in a neutral mink colour. The Vitruvian plush himself is made from red and brown felt.

Would look great on any wall - perhaps to brighten up an office and keep you smiling throughout the working day!

Doesn't nature come up with some weird and wonderful creatures? Armadillos, giraffes, poodles.......well here's one I bet you haven't seen before......only recently discovered in the wilds of the UK, it's the DuckBunny!

A cute little furry friend with the body of a bunny and the wings and legs of a duck.....who'd have thought it?

Little is known about this elusive creature, except that he responds warmly to a carrot sandwich, especially if made with cheap white bread and thrown at him by children. Believed to be related to the BunnyDuck (see other shop listings).

This cute little guy might be dead, (well, strictly undead), but he can still make a great companion.

He's been through the wars a bit, what with digging himself out of his own grave, and could probably benefit from some kind words and reassurance as he adjusts back to daily life.

He looks a bit glum, but then he can't see very well since his eye fell out, and he can't remember his own name. I'm sure that with a little love he'll be just fine. Maybe he just wants a hug? (see final photo!)

Each acrylic coaster measures approx 3 3/4" (9.5cm) square. The design is made using sky blue coloured felt as a background with felt and stitch detailing. The felt is inserted inside the acrylic so is perfectly safe from spillages. I've inserted paper underneath the felt so you cant see the reverse of the stitches.

Nicolaus Copernicus (1473–1543): the first astronomer to formulate a scientifically based heliocentric cosmology that displaced the Earth from the center of the universe.

Copernicus was the subject of the Mad Scientists of Etsy Team Challenge this month, and I chose to make a plushie in his image. Based on various paintings (have a look at Wikipedia!).

Plush Copernicus has a sun shaped heart to honour his heliocentric theories.

He measures approx 11" (27cm) x 7" (18cm).

Evolution: the process of change in the inherited traits of a population of organisms, from one generation to the next.

This is a fab pink notebook showing an evolving family of 4 plushies, each one slightly more developed than the last.

Design is exactly the same on the reverse.

Based on the original 'On the Origin of Plush...' canvas, also available in my shop.

Notebook measures 6.5" (16.5cm) x 8.5" (21.5cm). The pages inside are plain so it makes a great ideas, lists or sketch book.

The cover is made of durable laminated 350gsm card, the 75 sheets of paper (150 pages) are 100gsm, and they are matt silver spiral bound.

Robot: a virtual or mechanical artificial agent.

This cute little blue robot is a very useful fella who shows you a readout on his tummy while measuring whatever you ask him.

Although, just the other day I asked him to show me a readout of his feelings and that seems to have got stuck on his screen after a traumatic incident he had whilst reading the Wikipedia entry on robots. According to Wikipedia; "...real robots are still benign, dim-witted, and clumsy."

Anyway, he measures approximately 10" (25cm) x 8.5" (22cm)

Based on the famous drawing of Leonardo da Vinci, this is The Vitruvian Plush!

Leonardo's work depicted a nude male figure in two superimposed positions, so my 3D plush version has 2 sets of arms and legs!

Just like da Vinci, The Vitruvian Plush himself is obsessed with proportion and geometry, so give him a tape measure and he'll be amused for hours!

He measures approx 15" (38cm) x 12" (30cm), and is made from purple fleece fabric.

He was created for the Mad Scientists of Etsy Team June Challenge, for which the topic was Leonardo da Vinci. So look out for other inspired items by our team members.

Large Liver is teetotal, and has the liver to prove it. He has never touched a drop of the hard stuff, but is quite partial to a non-alcoholic cocktail on special occasions.

Whilst he prefers the company of fellow abstainers, he enjoys preaching the virtue of a non-alcoholic life to those who have perhaps been known to over-indulge.

Bert is part bumble bee, part bear and is a member of the Hybrids, a family of odd but lovable creatures.

After the long cold winter of hibernation Bert is up and buzzing about. He's a huge fan of summer and isn't afraid to admit why - he loves flowers! Being a Bumble-Bear, he is not only able to eat honey, but to make it too! That means he spends most of his time doing one or the another, and is usually on a bit of a sugar high.

Leopard-pigs are stealthy animals, known for their ability to move silently and undetected, if rather a little slowly. They have a great sense of smell and a fondness for swimming...

...But there's nothing Lionel loves more than a roll around in the mud!

This isn't your traditional sleeping beauty - she hasn't been cursed by a wicked fairy, she's just really really tired! She spends most of her time catching up on her beauty sleep. I'm sure most of us would do the same given half the chance!

She is wearing a beautiful dress embellished with sequins and gem droplets, and comes complete with her very own pillow so she can sleep wherever and whenever she needs to.
