I'd like you to meet Noel, she is my last angel I'll be making for the year.
Noel measures 20" long with a body made from aged osnaburg cotton fabric. I've seamed her elbows and knees so she can sit and be posed nicely. I've needle sculpted her fingers and her nose. She has a painted face that has been sealed. She has a full head of hand dyed sheep's wool hair that has been needle felted in place with a little glue to form buns on each side of her head. She has a vintage style gold tinsel garland halo.
I made her wings from cotton fabric that has been machine quilted, stiffened, then sprinkled with gold glitter, then hand sewn in place with a loop for hanging.
Noel is wearing a very festive dress made from cotton and gold special occasion fabric. It has been trimmed with ivory vintage style lace and pale green ribbon. I've hand gathered the ribbon down the front of her bodice, then attached 6 tiny antique buttons.
Her ivory pantaloons are trimmed with gold tinsel trim.
I've painted her ivory shoes, then sprinkled them with gold glitter, and attached pale green ribbon bows and gold jingle bells.
Finally, Noel is holding a tiny battery operated flicker light that is wired in place and can be easily removed for battery replacement.
Noel is a one of a kind original doll and will come to you signed and dated with a certificate of authenticity.

This very big Snowman Door Greeter was made using a pattern I own from Back Porch Pickins. I just love him! He is 28" tall and is over 5 lbs! That's alot of stuffing!
I made his body out of cotton osnaburg fabric that is weighted at the botton, has been painted with two coats of paint, sanded, then sprayed with walnut ink to give him a great prim look. I've made his nose from osnaburg cotton fabric, then painted it and sprinkled it with mica snow. His eyes and mouth have also been painted then sealed and I hand stitched his eyelids in place.

He has a red cotton coat with appliqued stars down the front that have gold jingle bells surrounded by vintage style gold tinsel garland. He is wearing a wool scarf decorated with a vintage picture tag. His black cotton hat has been completely stiffened to hold it's shape, then sprinkled with lots of mica flakes to resemble snow. I've applied it to his head then embellished it with beautiful faux a poinsetta flower and chinelle candy canes.

He has a removable stocking that has been filled with poinsetta flowers, holiday greenery and faux candy canes. I attached a bottle brush wreath and ribbon bow for the finishing touch!

Introducing “Ice Princess”; she is my newest doll, just off the sewing table! I am very proud of how she turned out!

Ice Princess is 30” tall and has a body made from aged osnaburg cotton fabric with seamed knees and elbows, needle sculpted fingers and a needle sculpted nose. I’ve painted and sanded her head and neck then painted her eyes a beautiful blue and given her lipstick red lips. Her hair is made from creamy sheep’s wool that I needle felted in place with a little glue, then topped with a cone hat that has been trimmed with vintage style gold tinsel tiny ivory flowers and a gold ball ornament.

She is wearing a gorgeous gown and pantaloons made from pale blue cotton and hand gathered tulle trimmed with antique style cotton lace. I’ve made her a fancy gold jacket (non-removable) that has been attached with a decorative button and decorated with vintage lace.

I’ve painted and sanded her ivory shoes and embellished them with organdy ribbon bows.

I’ve given Ice Princess a glittery gold snowflake ornament attached to a bottle brush wreath and finished off with ivory flowers and an organdy bow.

Folk Art Snow Lady Doll Crystal

I’d like you to meet Crystal, my Winter Snow Lady. Crystal is 14” tall. She is made from three round muslin balls that have been stuffed firmly then painted stained and sanded. She is mounted on a round wooden base so she can be displayed nicely. Chrystal’s facial features have been painted using acrylics and pencils then I’ve sealed her to prevent fading. I sculpted her carrot nose out of clay, and then dusted it with glass glitter.

Crystal is wearing a gorgeous blue gown. I’ve trimmed her bodice with vintage lace and vintage style silver tinsel garland. I’ve made her hat out of matching cotton fabric that has been stiffened to hold its shape then sprinkled it with lots of German glass glitter to resemble snow. I trimmed it with silver tinsel garland and embellished it with a glittery silver star.

Cristal is holding a gold star made from painted muslin. It is mounted on a painted dowel stick, and then trimmed with silver tinsel garland.

I’ve finished Crystal off with an antique holiday ornament and vintage picture tag that has been decorated with more glass glitter.

Folk Art Black Flying Holiday Angel Doll

I’d like to introduce my flying holiday Angels that I have signed and dated. These angels were inspired by a pattern I own by Sweet Meadows Farm. I am so proud of how they turned out.

They each measure 23”x9”, and have bodies made from osnaburg cotton fabric that have been thoroughly painted and sanded. The white angel has also stained. I’ve needle sculpted their noses and their hands the way I usually do. Their angel wings have also been painted with an antique white acrylic, then stained, and sprinkled with lots of German glass glitter. I’ve painted their shoes antique white acrylic as well, and then finished them with vintage style gold tinsel garland and rusty bells.

They each have painted features using acrylics and pencils, and then I’ve sealed them with a matte spray. They’re hair is made from sheep’s wool that has been needle felted in place, then topped with a halo made from a faux boxwood vine twisted with a rusty Jingle bell wire garland.

Each angel is wearing gold and ivory cotton pantaloons gathered at the waist and ankles. Their dresses are made from a beautiful gold shimmery fabric that is trimmed with real antique lace. I’ve embellished them with vintage style gold tinsel garland and rusty bells.

I’ve given these angels each an antique gold painted star made from muslin that has been sprinkled with German glass glitter.

I’ve attached a wire loop on their backs for hanging. These angels would look beautiful on a wall or even topping a Holiday tree.

I’d like you to meet my newest raggedy doll I’ve named after the legendary markswoman, “Annie Oakley” and her horse named “Target”. All she needs now is her pistol when she grows up! She is a one of a kind doll designed by me!

This little girl is 20” tall. Her body is made from aged osnaburg fabric with jointed elbows and knees, and needle sculpted hands. I’ve painted prim red stripes on her legs, and I’ve painted her nose and mouth. She has hand stitched black button eyes and cute little freckles. Her hair is made from hand dyed prim red wool hair that has been needle felted in place with a little bit of glue to form pig tales tied with red polka dot silk ribbon.

Annie Oakley is all decked out in her best western style outfit consisting of pantaloons, a lace trimmed underskirt, a hand gathered three tiered outer skirt, and a vest embellished with two silver conchos. I’ve finished her with a red scarf around her neck.

“Target” is made from muslin that I’ve painted and attached to a wooden painted dowel. He has a brown wool main that is hand stitched in place and a red scarf decorated with a silver concho.

This is Beatrice. She is an original one of a kind doll. She is 21” tall, not including her ears, and she has a painted and sanded body. I’ve painted on her shoes, and then embellished them with rusty bells and vintage style tinsel.

Halloween Annie and Bat Doll

Introducing, my Halloween 2009, Annie Doll. This little lady is all decked out in her Halloween party dress. She is 26” tall if you include her hat and 22” tall if you don’t. Her body is made from aged osnaburg fabric with seamed elbows and knees and needle sculpted fingers. I’ve painted and sanded her orange striped stockings and black shoes. She has black button eyes with hand stitched detail, and hand painted features on her face.

Annie’s whimsical Halloween print cotton dress and pantaloons are trimmed with ruffled orange tulle, polka dot ribbon, and black vintage style tinsel. I’ve sewn black pom poms down the front of her bodice, and added a layer of tulle under her dress to give it some fullness. I’ve attached a Jack-O-Lantern picture tag to her dress.

Annie’s hair is made from prim red sheep’s wool that has been needle felted in place, and decorated with polka dot ribbon bows. I’ve sewn a party hat to her head made from lots of ruffles, black tinsel, and a fabric covered card stock cone topped with a black pom pom.

Annie is holding her pet bat I’ve named “Fang”. He is made from painted, sanded muslin. I’ve wired his wings so he can be posed, and given him an orange tinsel collar. Fang is attached to a twisted rusty wire for Annie to hold.

Folk Art Halloween Pumpkin Witch Doll and Lite

Introducing my new Henrietta doll and her Pumpkin lite. This doll will be the last Halloween themed item I produce this year. She is 34" tall and her body is made from osnaburg fabric that has been partially painted and sanded. She has a round head with painted features and a black cotton hat that has been stiffened and sprinkled with mica flakes, then decorated with a large bow.

Henrietta's dress and pantaloons are made from cotton Halloween print fabric and trimmed with lots of black tulle ruffles. I've attached a large rusty bell surrounded with black vintage style tinsel to her bodice. Henrietta has painted black boots embellished with rusty bells and black tinsel, and orange striped stockings. I've attached a whimsical Jack-O-Lantern tag for the finishing touch.

Henrietta comes with her own pumpkin lite. The pumpkin is made from paper mache that has been painted. I've attached a wooden bobbin lite with a star bulb, then surrounded it with Excelsior, and a twig wreath. Finally, I attached a hand made bat crafted from muslin, that has been painted and sanded, then embellished with an orange tinsel collar with a tiny tag and rusty bell.
