This is the most beautiful silk scarf you've ever seen, with orbs of shimmering and handpainted glory. It loosk like you are wearing a painting by Gustav Klimpt. I begin with a handpainted silk scarf, and embellish it with gorgeous wool roving and mohair locks, finishing up with lovely swirls of handpainted woolen yarn trails.

I sell these in my local shop, and have trouble keeping them in stock. They are more beautiful than you can believe.

The scarves measure approximately 10" wide by just under 5 feet in length (about 56"). Each one varies slightly in color and size due to their hand created nature. Colors on your monitor may not match the actual colors on the scarf.

In light of my solo show at Austin's Gallery, I have created a few completely unique trial pieces of jewelry. I have put so much time into these pieces that I will most likely NOT continue making them! Once this piece sells, I will remove it from my etsy shop. This bracelet is a one-of-a-kind piece, and it will not be reproduced.

This cuff is made by knitting a linen stitched band, then adding a crocheted edging, and finish with the beaded embellishments. The cuff has a sterling silver hook closure, and is finished off with a soft felt backing. This cuff measures 2.5" wide and has 6.75" of stitched area in length. With the clasp, it measures 7.5" long. Links can be added to make it longer if you desire. It is a beautiful and eye catching piece, and just PERFECT for the late summer/fall/winter season!

**Please note. I lowered the price on this bracelet from $125.00 to $89.00. I guess I came to my senses a bit. I had that "I just finished it, and it is too fabulous, so I will mark it up so high that noone will buy it, and I can have it myself" feeling... Don't you know what I mean?!

Hamish-Original Stuffs Doll made from Recycled Wool Sweater Scraps

Meet the one and only Hamish. He is the first and the original in my "Stuffs" series of dolls made from felted wool sweater scraps. Hamish, or Hammie for short, has momentarily whisked away his one true love, Penelope, on a whirlwind trip. Let's hope he is a Follow Through sort of a guy!

Hamish was "born" from my scrap basket of felted wool bits. I could never quite figure out why those bits had to go into a basket, and not the trash, but apparently, this is why. Hamish has some cotton accents (his tummy and scarf), and is stuffed with natural antibacterial Bamboo fiber, which adds a lovely dimension to his character. Hamish's face, hands and feet are all needle felted, so there's no chance of eyes being torn off by a wayward child or dog (yes, that's been a problem in the past). Hamish measures 16.5" tall from the tip of his toes to the top of his head.

Please convo me if you have any questions. Once the original Hamish sells, you may get a twin of Hamish. I will make sure Hamish's twin is a close to Hamish as possible, but he may have his own particular quirk, which, I'm sure, will make him every bit as wonderful as is Hamish.

This sweater is approximately size 3-4. ( I size them big) The sleeve length measures 14", overall length is 16", and across the front is 16" as well. Please note, people who have bought the sweaters say they will have the designs made into a pillow once the child outgrows it. Or, just hang it up as wall decor. They are truly works of art!

Personalize your favorite pet on a pillow or a wall hanging! Just email me a photo of your special friend, and I will needle felt a "painting" out of wool roving onto recycled, felted sweater "fabric". I use ribbon and trims to "frame" the picture, back the pillow or wall hanging with a fun printed animal fabric. I stuff the pillow with an organic cotton/bamboo eco-friendly non-allergic batting. The measurements are approximately 9 x 11" - 11 x 12".

This personalized pillow would make a fabulous and unique gift, and will certainly delight the recipient! The pillow is an eye catcher in any room. Please allow one week for fabrication.

Your pet's name can be added to the design for an additional $15.00. ($83.00 total cost). Generally, the finished pillow or wall hanging has to be a little larger if I add a name. The price for the wallhanging option is also $83.00 as it's a bit more work than the pillow. Make sure you convo (email) me with the pet's name if you choose this option, so I can create a custom listing just for you and your pet :o)

Please keep in mind that I use recycled sweaters to start with. You can let me know if you have a color preference, but I may not be able to match your color palette exactly. I always allow the colors of the pet to be my guide, and select sweater "fabric", ribbons and trims to compliment these colors. Convo me for additional details, or if you just want to discuss your ideas further.

I have given hundreds of old, discarded wool sweaters new lives as children's and women's sweaters, pillows, and jewelry pieces. But I believe my true love is to refashion wool sweaters into irresistible handbags. Each is one-of-a-kind, and you won't see anyone else with such a lovely, unique handbag. They are beautiful. Sadly, the photos don't do them justice...

This handbag is an absolute work of art, created from a combination of felted Japanese recycled wool sweater, an antique sweater and handpainted wool felt. The handbag closes by a strap covering a magnetic clasp, hidden by the handpainted wool felt rose. The darker fabric on the front of the purse is a pocket. The lining is made of cotton fabrics, and wool felt. Please note, this handbag takes me TEN hours to make, and it is absolutely fabulous, a bargain at twice the price.

Also, please note that the handbag, though made from sweater fabric, is sufficiently lined so it stands up on it's own. This handbag is no Plain Jane, and it's not a Floppy Flo either! It's a Marvelous Maggie; priceless and simply fabulous!

The measurements are 8 1/4" wide x 8 1/4" tall x 2 1/2" deep at the base. The distance from the body to the top of the strap measures 20". Please convo me if you have any questions.

Finally, the colors of the handbag are true in the FIRST picture. The colors are washed out in the following pictures, but I "threw away" the shots off my computer before I changed them. (sorry!) I'm so excited! This is my first official kit!!! I teach needle felting classes at Paper Tales in San Diego, CA, and this class has been very popular.

Make your own sweet needle felted birdie brooch with this kit. Intended for someone with needle felting experience, this kit can also be used successfully by the experienced crafter. The kit includes a step-by-step photo tutorial with detailed instructions. Plenty of roving and yarn is included to make a beautiful bluebird brooch, measuring approximately 3 1/4" long by 2 1/2" tall, and stuffed to make him fat and sassy! The kit includes a very sharp needle felting needle, so children under the age of 10 will need adult supervision.

Kit includes:
- Wool roving, handpainted wool yarn, wool/synthetic felt, embroidery floss and sewing needle, bamboo fiberfill, pinback, instructions, needle felting needle

Kit does NOT include:
- Felting mat or foam pad to work on, glue for attaching the pinback

This is a print of one of my original mixed media collage paintings, combining beautiful art papers, oil and acrylic painting, stamp medium, a needlefelted bird and an inspirational message. This 7"x 7" art image is created from a copy of the original, treated with a UV inhibitor, trimmed to the image, backed with a decorative artbark paper, and mounted to an 8 x 10" paper. The needlefelted bird is colored over with colored pencil. It is ready to be placed in any 8 x 10" frame of your choice.

It's truly lovely, and will surely bring a message of peace to your heart. It would also make a wonderful and thoughtful gift.

Itty Bitty Bouquet of Roses Pincushion in Lavenders

My grandmother wasn't a gardener, but she loved the gardens around her home. As she got older, the plants withered away, but her roses would come up every year. One of the most beautiful rose bushes on the property was a lavender rose. When she passed, I bought her home from our family estate, and began the loving (but tedious) process of remodeling. Imagine my dismay when the concrete pouring guys severed that beautiful lavender rose bush at it's base, below the ground. :o( I told my husband to leave the roots, and, low and behold, up came that beautiful rose the following year in all it's lavender glory!

This Itty Bitty Bouquet pincushion would make a lovely bridal shower or bridesmaid's gift, and it's usable after the event! This pincushion is completely handmade by me using wool and synthetic felt, ribbon trims, bead details, and a stuffed fabric base. The base is weighted for stability. The pincushion measures 3 1/2" tall and 2 1/2" wide. This pincushion is made to order, and will be shipped within one week of receipt of confirmed payment. These pincushions may vary slightly from the photo due to the availability of materials during the construction process. The colors may differ slightly from what you view on your computer monitor.
