Emily Dickinson lived quietly in Amherst, Massachusetts and wrote poetry for most of her adult life. Her verses were short but creative, and her themes were of love, death, and her relationship with God and nature. Dickinson was not famous during her lifetime; she rarely left Amherst, her home.Dickinson wrote over 1,700 poems in all -- but only a handful of her poems were published during her lifetime.

Emily is designed pattern free with a simple black gown and tight chignon, based on one of the few portraits known to exist of her. I hand painted her face, and she stands a petite four and half inches tall. A perfect addition to any classic literature lover's collectibles!

This hand designed Victorian Santa is sparkling in silver all over, from his long full length silver costume with white cloak to his silver goodies pack!

His sack is so full, he even had to tuck a silver drum under his arm since there was just no more room! I gave him a hand painted face with a slightly pink nose and little blue eyes, and of course he has a fluffy white beard! Sir Walter Scott, (15 August 1771 – 21 September 1832) was a prolific Scottish historical novelist and poet, popular throughout Europe during his time. Elizabeth Barrett Browning was born March 6, 1806 and died June 29, 1861. She was one of the most prominent poets of the Victorian era. Her poetry was widely popular in both England and the United States during her lifetime. Browning published many poems in her lifetime, and many more were published by her husband, Robert Browning, after her death.

Elizabeth is dressed in a full, satin brown skirt, a brown velvet jacket that is cinched at the waist with a small flare. In this confused but engaging plot of Jane Austen, the Dashood sisters-Elinor and Marianne are left with no money by their father,who leaves it to his son. After a series of mix-ups in their love life, the sisters finally manage to find happiness in their lives, and settle down in happiness with the men they love.

Elinor and Marianne are dressed in a simplistic Regency style, and their hair is done in the fashion popular at the time. I completely designed and crafted these characters, including their hand painted faces. Each has a wooden base so you can place them anywhere. They stand a petite four and half inches tall, perfect for the Austen fan!

In My Fair Lady, Audrey is a street wise young woman who is dressed none too well and doesn't have the best of manners. She becomes the student of man who thinks he can turn her into a proper young woman with manners and dress to impress high society. This is the inspiration behind this character!

William Wallace, (born 1270 – died 1305), was a Scottish knight and landowner who is known for leading a resistance during the Wars of Scottish Independence and regarded as a patriot and national hero.

Who can forget Mr. Darcy of Pride and Prejudice? Elizabeth at first thought he was a snob and partly due to his higher station in life. He came across as crusty and aloof, but she found out in the in that she had him judged wrongly, and the pair fall in love- a fun ending after all..

Dapper Mr. Darcy is wearing a black pants and jacket, gray colored vest, and high necked shirt with tied cravat. His black, tousled hair and benign expression add to his character. Samuel Langhorne Clemens (November 30, 1835 – April 21, 1910), better known by the pen name Mark Twain, was an American author and humorist. Twain is most known for his novels, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn,and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. During his life, Twain became a friend to presidents, artists, industrialists and European royalty. His sharp wit and satire earned him praise from both critics and peers.

I designed this special Mark Twain character in a three piece suit with pants, shirt, vest in white. His outfit is accented with a gold vest chain and a black bolo necktie.

Anyone who has read Charlotte Bronte's novel, Jane Eyre, knows of the bittersweet romance involving the lonely orphan Jane and the gruff and mysterious Mr. Rochester. Adding a twist to the love story is the tragedy of Bertha Rochester, Mr. Rochester's insane wife. Though the tale has tragedy, it also has a good ending - the kind everyone likes to read!

I have created this little trio from wooden clothspegs.I have hand designed each of their costumes inspired by the story from which they come from. If you are a Charlotte Bronte fan, or know someone who is, this little group is a perfect addition to the Bronte fan's collection ! Mr. and Mrs. Bennet are an interestingly matched couple from Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice...she is high strung and nervous, he is calm and laid back. She is bent on matching her girls to wealth and society, he could care less! This older couple may seem mismatched, but they add a lot of spice to the story!

Mrs. Bennet wears a pale yellow Regency style gown with ruffles and lace accenting it. Her hair is done in a matronly style with clusters of sausage curls and a white lace edged cap to set it off. Mr. Bennet is staid and calm in his black trousers with vest and charcoal gray coat. He sports bushy mutton chop sideburns, and a slightly balding pate.
Perfect pair for the Austen fan collection-they stand a petite four and half inches tall!

Margaret Hale and John Thornton- North and South

Written by Elizabeth Gaskell, North and South tells a story set in Victorian England's industrial north. It follows the fortunes of Margaret Hale,who is a privileged, middle class southerner who is forced to settle in the northern town of Milton.Margaret takes instant offence to the town and its people. Her distaste for the town and its people extends to handsome and charismatic cotton mill owner John Thornton.
As events conspire to throw Margaret and Thornton together, the two spirited characters have to overcome their hidden physical attraction for one another and overcome prejudices of class and circumstance.

I created Maraagaret with an antique brown dress printed with tiny brown floral pattern. It is prettily edged in off white lace trim and brown satin ribbon. John is dressed in black trousers, coat, and silvery gray vest. The pair look like they like each other, but just can't figure out how to admit it! They stand a small four and half inches tall.

Albert Einstein was born on March 14 1879 . He was a physicist and was best known for his theories of special relativity and general relativity. Einstein received the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics "for his services to Theoretical Physics, and especially for his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect" ,(whatever that is!)

Little Albert is created wearing a black sweater with cream shirt collar, and tan brown pants with black "shoes". Guinevere was the legendary queen consort of King Arthur. She was most famously known for her love affair with Arthur's chief knight Sir Lancelot. Unfortunately,their betrayal of poor Arthur leads to the downfall of the kingdom...so it's not a happily ever after story!

I designed Guinevere in a wine velvet gown with brocade front design. She wears a gold chain necklace, special crown, and her costume is touched with faux fur around the edges for a regal look. I hand painted her face and gave her a loose, flowing hairstyle for a finishing touch. Grace O'Malley was a lady pirate, mercenary, traitor, chieftain, and noblewoman in her lifetime. She was born in 1530 at Clare Island Castle, County Mayo, Ireland.It is said she died in her early seventies and was active on the sea into her sixties. Grace died approximately around 1603 at Rockfleet castle. In her lifetime she maintained the old principles of the Gaelic and Brehon systems of law.She was a revered and honored Chieftain of her people.

I created Grace in a pirate costume, with baggy pants, tan jacket with gold buttons and cinched waist. She wears a green print bandana over her hair, and a red kerchief about her neck. Grace also wields a sword and even has a parrot sitting on her shoulder.!

Do you wonder where that wonderful candy , the candy cane, comes from? Candy Cane Lane of course! And Queen Peppermint is the overseer to make sure the candy canes are made just right-or else!

I designed Queen Peppermint of Candy Cane Lane with a special red and white outfit fit for a ruler of such an important place! Her dress is white underneath and embellished in front with sugar coated candy canes, with three silky red panels on each side and back. Her sleeves are fashioned to look like peppermint sticks, and if you look closely, you will see I added all kinds of artistic detail- such as the red rhinestone neckline, red ribbon skirt edged with clear little balls, a hair-do of white and red stripes with the perfect candy cane crown, and her candy cane scepter too.

Anne and Gilbert did not get along in the Anne of Green Gables series by L.M.Montgomery, but as Anne grew into a more mature young lady, her red hair and fiesty nature caught the heart of Gilbert, her former classmate, and at last true love blossomed!

Anne is designed wearing a brown taffeta skirt accented with brown satin ribbon. She wears her hair in a Gibson girl style and wears a cream colored blouse with cream lace and pearl accents. Gilbert wears brown trousers and golden vest with tiny houndstooth checks with off white shirt. He looks a bit uncertain because he knows how precocious Anne can be! Marguerite and Sir Percy Blakeney- Scarlet Pimpernel

1792, during the bloodthirsty, early stages of the French Revolution, Marguerite St. Just, an ex French actress, is wife of the wealthy English born Sir Percy Blakeney, a baronet. Before their marriage, Marguerite had said unintended things in private that had resulted in sending French aristocrat the Marquis de St. Cyr and his sons to the guillotine. When Percy found out, he became estranged from his wife.To make a long story short, Sir Percy becomes the Scarlet Pimernel, sporting two identities and performing daring exploits that entrance Marguerite. Marguerite also displays her courage in some stunts of her own and proves her loyalty. In the end, the pair once again become reconciled and love is restored!

Marguerite is dressed beautifully in a silvery floral costume accented in white lace and with an aristocratic hair-do typical of that time period. The Baron is dashing in his silvery gray overcoat trimmed in silver buttons, and sports breeches, and a hair style pulled back with a silver ribbon. Marco Polo, ( born 1254 – lived January 8, 1324) was a trader and explorer from the Venetian Republic who gained fame for his worldwide travels. Marco, his father Niccolò, and his uncle Maffeo, were some of the first Westerners to travel the Silk Road to China and visit Kublai Khan, the founder of the Yuan Dynasty.

I designed my special miniature in white pantaloons, velvet red coat accented in gold, and he sports a dark beard and mustache. His hat is blue velvet with fur trim, and he carries a "dagger knife" and his bow- just in case he needs them! There's nothing more fun than a big snow in the ground and then going out and having fun with it by having a good old fashioned snowball fight!

This special couple come from one of Jane Austen's most acclaimed novels, Pride and Prejudice. Mr. Bingley is rich, and a nice man, but Jane isn't sure if he loves her in spite of the fact that she isn't from an aristocratic family. It cause some misunderstanding in the novel, but in the end they know they are in love and who has the most money doesn't factor into the equation.

I created Jane with a cream and floral print Regency style dress accented in sheer bright blue ribbon. She has hand curled golden hair and a matching ribbon tied up into it as a final touch. Dapper Mr. Bingley sports a vest, breeches, "boots", and long coat. His curly hair is catching Jane's eye! The tiny couple stand an approximate 4 and 1/4 inches tall, perfect for the Austen collection!

John Adams was an American politician and the second President of the United States (1797–1801), after being the first Vice President (1789–1797) for two terms. His wife Abigail was a huge support to him as he built up his political career, being left to do much of the running of their farm and household until the very latter years of his career. He wasn't going to win hunk of the year with his looks, but evidently their relationship was a good one as he listened to a lot of her advice, as all good husbands should!

Abigail is dressed in rose colored paisley and sage green dress accented in cream lace and bows. Her colonial style hair is covered in a ruffled and pink ribboned bonnet. John is a bit portly and short, with tufts of white hair surrounding his balding pate. He is dressed in khaki breeches, cream high necked shirt, and cocoa brown jacket with cream accents and gold buttons. The couple stand about 4 and 3/4 inches tall, a perfect addtion to any collectible set!

Queen of England- Anne of Cleves

Anne of Cleves was a German noblewoman and the fourth wife of Henry VIII of England and therefore she was Queen of England from 6 January 1540 to 9 July 1540. The marriage was never consummated,(supposedly because of her not so great looks), and she was not crowned queen consort. Following the annulment of their marriage, Anne was given a generous settlement by the King, and was referred to as the King's Beloved Sister... which certainly beats getting beheaded! She outlived all of Henry's other wives.

Queen Anne is dressed in an eye catching red velvet gown with red brocade insert, edged in gold and red , and sky blue ribbon trim. Her blue hood is accented with a gold headband and eye catching blue rhinestones, and her finishing touch is the gold and blue and white paisley stole that sparkles in gold!

Anne stands four and half inches tall-a perfect little miniature to add to your Tudor collection!

Married twice before meeting King Henry VIII, it was in the household of Henry's and Catherine of Aragon's daughter, Mary, that Katherine Parr caught the attention of the King. After the death of Katherine's second husband, Katherine had her eye on a Thomas Seymour Unfortunately, the king took a liking to her and she was obliged to accept his proposal instead.She then bcame Henry's sixth wife. She did marry a fourth time after Henry's death to Thomas Seymour, but alas, the marriage turned sour due to Thomas's apparent philanderings.

Katherine is resplendent in a cream and chocolate brown paisley gown with ivory accents. Her cloak is rich brown velvet with sections of leopard faux fur to set it off. Her faux fur collar sets off her neckline along with her gold chain necklace. Katherine's crowning touch is her velvet brown hood trimmed in ivory pearls and gold beads. She stands four and 1/2 inches tall- a must have addition to the Tudor fan collection!

Catherine of Aragon was the first wife of King Henry VIII of England.Henry VIII's attempt to have their 24-year marriage annulled set in motion a chain of events that led to England's break with the Church of Rome. Henry was dissatisfied because their sons had died in infancy and others were stillborn, leavingno male heir for the thorne, Henry's highest aim. When Pope Clement VII refused to annul the marriage, Henry defied him by declaring supremecy over religious matters. This allowed him to marry Anne Boleyn on the judgment of clergy in England, without reference to the Pope. . Catherine refused to accept Henry as Supreme Head of the Church of England and considered herself the King's rightful wife and Queen until her death.

Queen Catherine is wearing a pine green with gold design underskirt, overlaid in green satin. The borders are accented in faux fur, and burnished gold and blue trim. Her gold hood is set off by tiny blue rhinestones and she shows off her gold chained necklace!.This four and a half inch character is hand painted and makes a beautiful addition to any Tudor collection.

Jane Seymour, the mother of King Edward VI, was the third wife of King Henry VIII. Jane was the daughter of one of the King's knights. In Henry's attempts to woo Jane, he sent her a love letter and a purse. Jane sent the letter and the purse back with a message about her family's honor. The King promised to defend the honor, and they were married May 30, 1536. Jane was the first and only wife to provide King Henry VIII with a proper male heir. However, Jane was did not recover from the birth and died twelve days later.

I designed Jane wearing an ebony brushed velvet gown with a black and pearl trim.The elegant costume is edged in silver trim with a faux fur ermine cape draped on her arms. She wears a round, Tudor style hood trimmed in silver beads, and she has a hand painted face. Jane stands a tiny four and a half inches tall.

Catherine Howard was the daughter of Lord Edmund Howard, a younger son of the 2nd Duke of Norfolk. This made her a first cousin of the King's second wife, Anne Boleyn. Catherine married Henry VIII on 28 July 1540, at Oatlands Palace in Surrey, almost immediately after the annulment of his marriage to Anne of Cleves was arranged. However, given Catherine's history and, eventually, her marital conduct suspicioned to be not so chaste, she was "given the axe", literally, after less than two years of marriage to Henry on the grounds of treason, meaning adultery committed while married to the King.

Catherine is wearing a gorgeous cream velvet dress with a burgundy and cream floral underskirt and burgundy velvet trim. Her gabled hood is cream accented in gold beads and burgundy satin. I hand painted her face and carefully designed her costume to reflect the Tudor Period. She stands 4 and a half inches tall, and helps complete any Tudor history fan's collection!

Georgiana Cavendish, Duchess of Devonshire was born 7th of June in 1757 , and named Georgiana Spencer. She was the first wife of William Cavendish, 5th Duke of Devonshire and mother of William George Spencer Cavendish, 6th Duke of Devonshire. Her father, John Spencer, 1st Earl Spencer, was a great-grandson of John Churchill, 1st Duke of Marlborough. Her niece was Lady Caroline Lamb. Among the descendants of her family are the present Duke of Devonshire, Diana, Princess of Wales (born Lady Diana Spencer); and Sarah, Duchess of York.

I designed Georgianna in a brushed navy velvet costume, with full skirt, cream colored vest, and jacket. She has a fabulous hat, with full feathers and even some faux fur accents. She holds her faux fur stoll, and she stands a petite four and 3/4 inches tall. She's a perfect little addition to any collection of unique miniature characters!

Scarlett O Hara Wears Calico-Gone With the Wind

In Gone With the Wind, there is an infamous scene where Scarlett is in the middle of the burning of a city, yet trying to help Melanie Wilkes deliver her baby. She wore a plain calico dress that Scarlett, in her former days, would have never worn. It captured the essence of how far she had to go in order to make her way through the saga of the civil war.That is the inspiration for this character.

I designed Scarlet wearing a cream and pale blue floral calico dress with cream collar. She wears her hair in a slightly mussed do, with a few stray tendrils, signifying how hot the weather was and the trying circumstances she was under. In her right hand you see her holding a towel for the emergency delivery she is about to help in. Scarlett stands a tiny four and half inches tall, perfect for any Gone With the Wind collection!

I hand designed this special character based on the supposed creator and collector of nursery rhymes and jingles, Mother Goose. Was she a real person in history? Many think so although there is disagreement who she really was!

I created Mother Goose wearing a brown striped skirt with gold floral inset, houndstooth cape edged in bright red ribbon, and her trademark black pointed hat. Tucked under her cape is her companion, a white goose! Her face is hand painted and costume hand designed pattern free.

Mary Stevenson Cassatt, born May 22, 1844 – died June 14, 1926,was an American painter and printmaker. She lived much of her adult life in France, where she first became a friend of Edgar Degas the painter and later exhibited among the Impressionists.Cassatt often created images of the social and private lives of women, with particular emphasis on the intimate bonds between mothers and children.

I fashioned this character inspired after the self portrait that Mary painted of herself. In this portrait she is wearing a white dress with white laced yoke. She wears a small back bonnet decorated with red flowers and accented in black bows. This little Mary miniature holds a small paintbrush and a mini replica of her famed self portrait. She stands four and half inches tall, a sweet little collectible!

Melanie and Ashley are both thorns, in their own way, in the side of Scarlett O Hara. Scarlett doesn't like the demure and gentle Melanie because she has Ashley, and Ashley is a pain to Scarlett because he can never quite make up his mind who he is really in love with until almost the near end of the story!

Ashley is dressed in his dapper Confederacy uniform, accneted in gold buttons and black belt. He stands 4 and 3/4 inches tall. Henry VIII- King of England

Henry VIII was King of England from April, 1509 until his death in 1547. Although in the greater part of his reign he brutally suppressed the influence of the Protestant Reformation in England, he is more popularly known for his role in the separation of the Church of England from the Roman Catholic Church. He is also noted for his six wives, two of whom were beheaded. Needless to say, he never won the husband of the year award!

Henry is dressed royally in a wine and gold leaf costume overlaid with ivory and brown velvet velvet cloak. Gold and jewels encrust the front and his kingley hat set off with white feather completes his look. Henry has hand painted face and stands 4 and 3/4 inches tall. He's a must have for the Tudor collector!

Good Queen Bess- Queen Elizabeth I in Silver

Elizabeth I, (born 1533 – died March 1603), was Queen of England and Queen of Ireland from November 1558 until her death. Sometimes called the Virgin Queen, Gloriana, or Good Queen Bess, Elizabeth was the fifth and last monarch of the Tudor dynasty. She was the daughter of Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn, but her mother was executed two and a half years after her birth. Elizabeth was then declared illegitimate. Her brother, Edward VI, bequeathed the crown to Lady Jane Grey, cutting his sisters out of the succession. His will was set aside, and in 1558 Elizabeth succeeded the Catholic Mary I.

Many details were given in the designing of this special version of Queen Elizabeth. Her dress is dove gray taffeta with silver accents all over. Touches of aquamarine rhinestones and satiny ribbons finish the look. Her head dress is a magnificent dotted sheer white veil with pearls at the crown. ( It was common knowledge that Queen Elizabeth was big on dressing as an attention getter, and this hand designed costume certainly does!)

Elizabeth stands four and 3/4 inches tall, and I hand designed her pesonally pattern free.

Gloria Swanson was an American actress who was most prominent during the silent film era, as both an actress and a fashion icon, especially under the direction of Cecil B. DeMille. In 1929 Swanson successfully transitioned to talkies with, The Trespasser.She is best known for her role as Norma Desmond in the film Sunset Boulevard (1950).

I designed Gloria in one of her many costumes she was known for wearing during the flapper era of the 1920s. She wears a black sequined dress edged in black ruffle, and white with black jeweled stoll. She wears her hair in a black bobbed fashion with shite feather and silver headband. Gloria's face in handpainted and she stands a petite four and half inches tall.

Anne is probably one of King Henry VIII's most well known, and arguably, most popular of his 6 wives. She knew how to tease the king to get him to propose, but most likely wished she hadn't after the excitement of the chase died down! In the end, fickle Henry had her head cut off to suit his purposes once again!

I created Anne in a brushed black velvet gown,with an ivory inset studded with real metal pattern design. Her full sleeves are trimmed in delicate ivory overlay, and hse wears layers of copper colored chains. Her head dress is dark rust with a pointed peak design edged in two rows of niniature pearls. This detail rich character stands four and a half inches tall- an absolute must have for the Tudor history fan!

Billie Holiday, born ihe 1920's, was a true artist of her day and rose as a social phenomenon in the 1950s. Her soulful, unique singing voice made her a superstar of her time. Today, Holiday is remembered for her masterpieces, as many of Holiday's songs are as well known today as they were decades ago. Holiday's poignant voice is still considered to be one of the greatest jazz voices of all time.

I designed Billie with a copper colored dress with a copper organza skirt. The dress is sparkly with gold accents, and she wears, in trademark style, a large, golden flower bloom on one side. Billie is made pattern free and stands 4 and 3/4 inches tall.

If Red had only had a better eye doctor, and was a lot more wiser about sharing private information, she could have avoided an unsavory encounter with a big bad wolf at Granny's house. Red Riding Hood is created with an ivory and pale blue floral dress, edged in white ruffled sleeves and bright blue sash. Nothing like a mushy love story- and the tale of Sleeping Beauty is one of them! It's a story full of the bad, the jealous, and good versus evil...and of course there's a princess and a prince, what else?

I created Sleeping Beauty with a sky blue dress accented in royal blue velvet, and trimmed in white with white collar. Her blonde hair is topped with a small gold crown, and she has a hand painted face. Prince Phillip wears his best- gray "boots", royal blue velvet doublet trimmed in gold, and puffed orange satin sleeves with a red wine velvet cape. He wears a minature "crown" with rhinestones, and he stands about 5 inches tall, along with Sleeping Beauty who stands about four and a half inches tall.

This is a special hand crafted set featuring Martha and Thomas Jefferson, one of the presidential couples in Colonial times.

I gave Thomas a brushed fabric coat of soft brown with gold vest, and he wears khaki breeches, buckled shoes, and wears his red hair in a Colonial fashion.He carries his quill and papers for his many writing stints. Martha is dressed like a proper Colonial lady, in dark green and gold pattern with red flowers and a red underlying skirt.She wears a lace cap with ribbon accents and wears hand curled ringlets.

Madame du Pompadour was born Jeanne-Antoinette Poisson. Though her parents were not of the higher class, Jeanne-Antoinette was raised to be the wife of a rich man. She was very talented and could act, dance, sing, and play the clavichord. Her marriage brought her out into society and she became well known as a star of the Paris salons.In 1744, Jeanne-Annette caught the eye of the King Louis XV. She divorced her husband and was awarded the title Marquise de Pompadour. She had to work hard to keep King Louis's attention but evidently was successful at it for the most part!

I did an inspired design of Madame Pompadour as painted by Francois Boucher. She has a dark green satin dress edged in pink ribbons and flowers. Her hair is pulled back and held by a soft pink ribbon. Madame's face is all hand painted, and she stands a petite four and a half inches tall. Perfect for your historical collection!

This clumsy pair are having a bad day! Jill is dressed in a brown calico dress with lace trim and butter yellow apron. Her brown hair has two mint green side bows, and her expression seems to be a bit annoyed, with good reason!
Poor Jack looks sorry about the accident- he carries his best straw hat and his now empty bucket while dressed in his patched brown overalls and yellow shirt. If you look close, you might spy Jack's attempts at self medication wrapped around his head!

Rob Roy and Helen of Scotland

Robert Roy MacGregor, usually known simply as Rob Roy or alternately Red MacGregor, was a famous Scottish folk hero and outlaw of the early 18th century, who is sometimes known as the Scottish Robin Hood.

Rob Roy became a well-known and respected cattleman.Due to the deception of his chief herder, who was entrusted with the money to bring the cattle back, Rob Roy lost his money and cattle, and defaulted on his loan. As a result, he was branded an outlaw, and his wife and family were evicted from their house at Inversnaid. After his main creditor seized his lands, Rob Roy waged a private blood fight against the credtitor until 1722, when he was forced to surrender. Later imprisoned, he was finally pardoned in 1727. He died in his house at Inverlochlarig Beg, Balquhidder, on 28 December 1734.

I designed Helen and Rob Roy in time period accurate costumes. Rob Roy wields a short dagger and wears a plaid kilt. Helen has on full brown skirt with plaid vest and their faces are hand painted. The couple stands a small 4 and 3/4 inches tall.

Cleopatra ,( born January 69 BC – died 30 BC) was a Hellenistic ruler of Egypt, originally sharing power with her father Ptolemy XII and later with her brothers/husbands Ptolemy XIII and Ptolemy XIV; she eventually gained the sole rule of Egypt. As Pharaoh, she consummated a liaison with Gaius Julius Caesar that solidified her grip on the throne. She bore a son for Caesar . After Caesar's assassination, she aligned with Mark Antony, with whom she produced a set of twins and a son. In the end though, this relationship ended with Cleopatra's demise due to the political struggles for power hitting a sour note.

My special Cleopatra is fully hand painted, and she wears beautiful royal Egyptian regalia. She stands a tiny four and half inches tall- you must get her before someone else does!

The Wicked Witch of the West is a character in the Land of Oz created by author L. Frank Baum in his children's book, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. The Wicked Witch of the West also figures prominently in the classic 1939 movie based on Baum's The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. In the story, The Wicked Witch poses the biggest threat to Dorothy, because she covets the magical pair of shoes which once belonged to the Wicked Witch of the East and are now worn by Dorothy.

Here comes a pair from another one of Shakespeare's tragedies...Romeo and Juliet. The plot basically revolves around the fact that two feuding families can't stand each other, but Romeo and Juliet fall in love, despite the fact they are on opposing sides. Fate has a cruel twist when Romeo finds Juliet in a drug induced snooze and thinks she is dead. He kills himself, then she wakes up and sees he is dead, and then kills herself also.
The well writtien tragedy is most likely one of Shakespeare's most well known.

I created Juliet with royal blue velvet dressing gown edged in white and silver trim. Her red hair is braided to one side, and she wears a while hair veil topped with silver. Her expression is all hand painted. Romeo is wearing olive green velvet shirt over black velvet breeches. He has ivory and gold accents along with shoulder length blonde "hair".
The pair look relieved that they no longer have to go to family reunions! Romeo stands about 4 and 3/4 inches tall, Juliet is a petite 4 an 1/2 inches tall. Perfect for any Shakespeare fan!

Don't be afraid! He's fierce looking. but at only 4 and 3/4 inches tall, he can't do much damage!

Attila was the leader of the Huns in the fifth century and played a significant role in the history of the late Roman Empire. Known as "the Scourge of God," Attila inherited a huge conquered territory, along with his brother Bleda. Together they subdued Barbarian tribes and negotiated tribute from the Eastern Roman Empire. In 443 Attila is believed to have murdered his brother before leading the Huns to further conquests in Eastern Rome and Gaul. He was on the verge of yet another attack on the Byzantines when he died in his sleep on his wedding night. Not your easy going kind of guy, is he?

I created Attila by designing his costume and weapons with attention to detail. He has a hand painted face and a rugged red beard and hair. All my characters are made without a pattern and are one of a kind! Bet you won't find a character quite like Attila! Bring him home as a dinner guest!

This drama is one of the great tragedies created by William Shakespeare. The story of King Lear, an aging ruler who is a stubborn old man who is blind to his weaknesses. He then decides to divide his kingdom amongst his three daughters. Goneril and Regan are the selfish daughters of Lear who pretend to love him but later treat him cruelly. Cordelia is the loyal and unselfish daughter. King Lear disowns Cordelia after confusing her honesty with being insolent. The end of the play ends in death by various methods including poison and suicide. Cordelia dies and King Lear, now a broken man, also dies.

King Lear is dressed in floor length robe accented in royal gold and wine trim. He wears a velvet brown cape trimmed in faux leopard trim collar. Cordelia is dressed in a princess robe with gold and red trim and wears her long gold hair in a braid on one side and a beaded twist on the other. Not too many have not heard of the Little House series, or the author, Laura Ingalls Wilder. Although Laura didn't actually write the series until her 60's, all the wonderful stored up memories she had of her pioneer childhood have stayed fresh and vibrant even to this day in the form of the wonderful stories she wrote!

I created Laura with a homespun, cream and brown plaid dress with dark brown ribbon trim. Her butter yellow pinafore is tied off with a brown satin ribbon, and she carries a book and pencil in tow. I also hand painted her face and she has chestnut brown hair in braids topped with a brown with white polka dots bonnet. The Bride of Frankenstein

Bride of Frankenstein is a 1935 horror film.
The film is rooted in a subplot of the original novel, Frankenstein (1818). In the film, a chastened Henry Frankenstein abandons his plans to create life, only to be tempted and finally encouraged by Henry's old mentor Dr Pretorius, into constructing a mate for him. The Bride rejects the Monster however, resulting in her death, that of Pretorius, and apparently the Monster's own death, when he destroys Henry's laboratory.

I designed the Bride in a costume inspired by the movie, with whire gown and strips of material for her sleeves. Her pale face accents her large eyes and red mouth, and her crowning touch is her most unusual hair do...black and stickin out high above her in a slanted style with unusual white streaks on both sides! This little miniature is only four and half inches tall and the perfect mate for old Mr. Frankenstein himself!

Frankenstein is the unusual character in a novel written by Mary Shelley. Shelley started writing Frankenstein when she was 18 and finished when she was 19. The first edition was published anonymously in London in 1818. The title of the novel refers to a scientist, Victor Frankenstein, who learns how to create life and creates a being in the likeness of man, but larger than average and more powerful.

My version of Frankenstein is in miniature size, and he has that lovely shade of green on his skin, along with a square shaped head and squinty eyes. Frankenstein is wearing a tattered black suit with oversized brown shoes- and he stands approximately four and three quarter inches tall. Marie Antoinette was known for her fine and high browed tastes in rich living. In fact, it was said by many that Marie liked fancy living too much. After marrying Louis the XVI, the pair became somewhat resented by the lower class and others wanting to make a change. When a revolution disrupted things, poor Marie and Louis were executed to make room for someone else!

I styled Marie in two shades of violet and accented it with pale lavender ribbons and trim. Her skirt puffs and scallops all around, and her elaborate hair is full of coils and piled high with fuschia rhinestones. I created the Count (Edmund Dantes) in his finest, with fur timmed velvet cape and suave beard and mustache. Mercedes is designed with a lovely copper colored dress patterned in colored leaves with a hint of gold.She has a white lace shawl wrapped around her arms.
