I’ve altered it to be a wall hanging . It’s main character is an Angel holding a sheep (vintage). The Angel is from the 30&#39;s and had been hanging around my studio for a while, she had lost part of her wings (which is why I ended up with her),....well you can&#39;t have an Angel with no wings!<br />In this piece, I reconstructed her wings with matte board and then wrapped them in gold foil (vintage also). Then the rest of the scene I build around her. On her left is a outer space scene, compete with a spiraling black (blue) hole and to her right is a farm scene with cows and a baby chick. The cows were from vintage calender art, and the duck was from a vintage card. Then when I was finished doing the collage, I sprayed it with a finish,....then I add some three dimensional items, like a sterling silver ring (black hole), a star pin, a flying cow, a watch face, an angel pin, and a duck earring flying though the sky,...I hope you like it, it was fun to make. Then, after it was bone dry, I put underglaze on it,...dark blue in the carved areas, and the rest of it I put an orange underglaze. The orange kind of marbled and made a cool combo of yellow and orange in firing. And then I put a clear glaze on it for final firing (cone 6) It measures just short of 3 3/4&quot; and just a little more than 3 ½” around. I haven’t been doing pottery that long, but I really like the way the clay feels, when I’m making a piece.
