Just as peace is simple, this bag is simple in design. Made of ultra buttery soft saddle colored deerskin. The two center appliques are smoke and light tan colored deerskin, hand sewn with faux sinew. The bag is hand stiched in "X" pattern, using a gorgeous cotton/rayon ribbon in hues of green, blue and yellow.

The focal point is a 1 1/8" X 1 5/8" Peace Jasper pendant bead. It's hard to get a great photo of the colors. I would call it seafoam green with beiges and soft salmon coloring. Very "billowy". It is surrounded by various sizes and colors of seed beads. Double drawstrings to keep the top securely closed, by sliding 2 smoky brown glass pony beads. The ends of the strands hold large yellow seed beads and vintage Ghana recycled glass in salmon color. The ends of the ribbon have been lightly rolled in beeswax to prevent fraying.

The pouch measures 4" across X 5 1/4" long. The inside measurements are 3 1/2" across X 4 1/2" long. A braided strap can be added for an additional $20. Signed and dated by the artist.

Yellow symbolizes wisdom, joy and happiness. Yellow brings energy, like a bright sunny day. Yellow is also a good color to ward of lethargy and depression during cloudy days.

The focalpoint is a stellar Nepalese, artisan made Conch Shell and Brass pendant. It measures a whopping 2" in diameter, plus the 1/4" bail. The back of the pendant is all brass with an animal and flora design. Each side holds 3 strands of golden seed beads, vintage hand forged Ethiopian brass, antique ostrich shell, antique bone and brass Mala prayer beads, Nepalese artisan made brass beads and brass beads with amber resin and bone disc. The clasp is brass in a flower design.

The necklace measures 23" long and the pendant adds 2 1/4".

This pouch was inspired by mother nature and her gifts. It starts with creamy, butter soft forest green deerskin. The front is accented with tobacco colored deerskin, incorporating the natural edge of the hide. All handstitched with Spanish Edge Lacing in sand colored deerskin. The off center applique is smoke and tan colored deerskin.

The focal point is a STELLAR deer antler burr (or rosette) that is inlayed with a Red Jasper nugget. Along the edge of the tobacco deerskin are brass rings and seed beads. One side of the pouch holds 2 strands of beads...seed beads, Jade, brass rings, antique and vintage Bohemian glass, oyster shell and Red Jasper leaf pendants.

The pouch measures 4 1/2" across X 6 1/2" long. The inside measurements are 4" across X 5 3/4" long. The double leather drawstrings keep the top tight and secure by sliding the large bone beads. These are wonderful beads. At the end of the day, the glass blower/bead maker, would use up the extra glass and hence, the name. Always very rough looking, these beads are no exception. Great character. These 10 faceted beads, date from the mid 1800's. All in excellent "rough" condition. What a fun and colorful bag! This open top (bucket style) pouch starts with the softest, vibrant purple deerskin. The top of the pouch is accented with golden brown deerkin, incorporating the natural edge of the hide. Freeform in shape, it is handsewn with varigated cotton and rayon ribbon...which has subtle hues of blue.

Simple in design with just a few bobbles. The focalpoint is a wonderful silver and brass 1 1/2" in diameter, bucking bronco with cowboy pendant. All surrounded with a braided lariat. Both sides have 3 short strands of ribbon fringe that hold small silver jingle cones.

Traditional "bucket" style medicine bag, made of super soft deerskin. The body of the bag is buckskin and all around the top is golden deerskin, incorporating the natural edge of the hide. Handstitched with varigated silk ribbon.

This freeform, open top bag has a gorgeous Dichroic glass bead centered on the front, with lots of colors in gold, green, red and blue. One side of the bag has 3 strands of beads that hold seed beads, antique Bohemian glass, Prehnite, vintage Bohemian glass, Honey Jasper, Peridot, Catlinite, oyster shell heishi, antique striped Venetian trade bead, brass feather charm, green glass leaf charm and a small brass bell. The side fringe holds vintage hand forged Ethiopian brass, antique Venetian tile and antique Bohemian glass. The bottom cut fringe is twisted on the front and flat on the back.

This is a wonderful purse, strong, durable and very artsy! A large main plus a smaller freeform pocket on the back, so you can get to those "gotta have" items like a cell phone or keys.

The front of the bag is made from saddle colored Elkskin. The back of the bag plus the flap are dark navy blue Deerskin. The back freeform outer pocket is also Elskin. The braided strap and the handstitched Spanish Edge Lacing, are navy blue Deerskin.

The front flap holds a 1 3/4" in diameter Crab Fire Agate pendant bead. Hanging from it are 2 strands of seed beads, antique (rare) striped Venetian grayhearts and 2 large faceted Crab Fire Agate rounds. It all sits atop a freeform piece of saddle colored Deerskin, handsewn with faux sinew.
The back freeform pocket has an open top with a magent sewn in, to keep it closed and your items secure.

The purse measures 7 1/4" across X 9 1/2" long. The inside measurements are 6 3/4" across X 9 1/4" long. The inside measurments of the back pocket are 6 3/4" across X 6 1/4" long (at the longets point).

The braided strap is 53" long so it can easily be worn cross shoulder. Simply knot the strap for a shorter length.

This is a VERY cheerful and colorful medicine bag, perfect for carrying special treasures, ipod, small wallet or secret stash!

Made from the softest yellow deerskin, with the top incorporating the natural edge of the hide in white. All hand stiched in cross stitching, with varigated cotton and rayon ribbon...great shades of green, yellow and blue.
Atop the white deerskin sides a gorgeous faceted Turquoise chunk that measures 7/8" across X 1" long. All around the bag is ribbon fringe with glass pony beads. Double drawstrings with large bone slide beads. The ends hold large green pony beads and brass disc.

These are 3 great beads that work well together or use them for 3 different projects. Antique Venetian chevrons, dating from the late 1800's. Two beads in excellent shape. This unique bag incorporates a copy of an origianl E.S. Curtis photo from 1907 of Ogalala Chief Standing Bear. The photo, printed on cotton fabric, has the wonderful warm sepia tone like the original.

The bag is made from soft black deerskin. The hand stitching, fring and strap are all in acorn colored deerskin. The photo is framed using faux sinew.

The striking photo appears to be framed on this bag. The corners hold green Chinese Turquoise. Along the bottom are pheasant feathers, leather, deer antler button and additional Turquoise. The side fringe holds lots of vintage brass. The top of the bag is open, with an additional deer antler button for closure. A hoop made of black faux sinew wraps loops over the button. The hoop length can be adjusted on the back, depending on how much you hold in the bag.

The bag measures 4 1/2" across X 5 1/2" long. The inside measurements are 4" across X 5 1/2" long. The side fringe adds 4 1/2" to the length. A beautiful antique bead from the early 1800's. Deep rust/red color with a yellow core...known as a yellow heart. These beads are rare and highly coveted by collectors. This little beauty is in good condition, with a small chip near on end and a shallow surface crack (shown in the photos). I grew up in Breckenridge, CO. In the old rock piles created from dredge boats in the gold mining days, were 100 year old trash pits filled with old bottles, cans, shoes and lots of various treasures. My brother and I used to spend hours looking for collectables and this bottle is one from my collection.

The bottle is in incredibly great shape with a crack near the top but no breaks or chips. The cork is new. This "Rubbing Alcohol Compound" bottle has been decoupaged with an image of St. Peter the Apostle, Patron Saint of Fisherman. Outlined with yellow glitter, with hanging black seed beads and fish fetishes.

Make a little hole in the top of the cork and you have an incense holder. Or fill it with holy water, place on your home alter and pray to St. Peter that tomorrow you catch the big one!

The bottle measures 6 3/4" tall (without the cork) X 2 7/8" wide X 1 1/2" deep. Signed and dated.

Lots of ELK bone has been used. The top round bone and the 5 end bone beads are from Elk legbone. The center horizontal piece is Elk rib bone. The short center strand on top, holds a gorgeous Elk tooth, often referred to as "Elk Ivory". A huge assortment of vintage and antique trade beads including antique: millefiori, striped Venetians, white crackly green hearts, red brick green hearts and gray hearts. Vintage: African sandcast, tile beads, Bauxite, Indonesian glass and seed beads. The new beads include bone disc and Chinese Turquoise. All bone pieces have been hand cut, shaped and sanded.

This unique piece has a total length of 17" and the rib bone is 3 1/4" across. The top has a 5" strap with a small hoop so you can easily loop it around a curtain rod, dowel or just about anything. All strung with black faux sinew. Signed and dated.

Turquoise is most effective on the throat chakra, enhancing communication. That must be why it feels so warm and natural worn as a necklace. This asymemtric necklace was designed to have the Ivory hang in the middle with the large wheel bead off to the side.

Starting with a hoop made of vintage Myrrh beads, then Chinese Turquoise heishi in 3 sizes...from 5mm in diameter up to 12mm. There are 3 dangles of beads that include seed beads, antique striped Venetian trade beads and tiny Turquoise hieshi. Each end holds a beautiful, richly colored piece of fossil Walrus Ivory. The longest piece is 35mm long X 19mm wide and the smallest is 24mm long X 25mm wide. Both sides of the Ivory are full of character so it doesn't matter how they hang when worn. The end is a stellar 23mm Chinese Turquoise wheel bead. The color is vibrant, it looks as though it has been painted.

The necklace measures approx 18 3/4" long. The 3 strands of beads and Ivory hang 3". All strung on faux sinew.

A sweet little bag made of yummy soft cream colored deerskin. The front is accented with blue lambskin, incorporating the natural edge of the hide. All hand stitched with Spanish Edge Lacing, in lavender lambskin.

The center of the bag holds a 3/4" square Amazonite bead. Two strands of beads hang on each side with all sorts of beads. Purple seed beads, new and vintage Swarovski crystals, vintage seed beads, Aquamarine, vintage Indonesian glass, Turquoise and each end has a special bead: Natural Amethyst point, Natural Apatite nugget, Natural Quartz crystal point and a large vintage Swarovski crystal. The double drawstrings hold large glass pony beads to keep the top closed and the ends of the strands have light aqua colored glass pony beads.

The pouch measures 2 3/4" across X 4" long. The inside measurements are 2 1/4" across X 3" long. A single strand strap can be added for an additional $5 or a braided strap for $20. Signed and dated by the artist.

A beautifully soft bag made of cream colored deerskin for the back and flap of the bag. The front is lavender lambskin accented with rich purple deerskin. The flap and purple deerskin incorporate the natural edge of the hide. All hand stitched in "X" pattern, using varigated cotton/rayon ribbon.

A polished pewter 1 5/8" French Cross adorns the front. Below it hang Thai silver, seed beads and a STELLAR 1 1/4" natural Amethyst Point bead. The flap holds additional Thail silver and seed beads, plus a beautiful deep purple faceted 3/4" Amethyst nugget bead. There is a small vintage Mauritanian shell bead (originally used as hair adornments) used as the button bead. Black faux sinew has been used as the braided hoop for closure.

Unisex arm cuff, made of pebbled merlot colored deerskin. The front is accented with the natural edge of the hide in saddle colored deerskin and the back holds a piece of golden yellow. All handstitched in "X" pattern.

This gorgeous, unique set is a combination of Inuit artist Nayopuk and myself.

The cribbage "board" is a halfed piece of Walrus Tusk, that measures 8 5/8" long X 2 3/8" wide (at widest end) and 7/8" thick. Scrimshaw on the tusk and drilled holes.

I've created the 4 pegs out of Fossil Walrus Ivory and the tops hold small Turquoise (on two) and Coral (on the other two) on the top. Each piece measures approx 1 1/4" long.

I've also made the small deerskin leather medicine bag to hold the pegs. This little pouch is made of chocolate brown deerskin and hand stitched using natural colored faux sinew. The center holds a 7/8" circle of Fossil Walrus Ivory, antique African Vulcanic disc, Turquoise and Coral. The single braided drawstring is nice and long so you can tie it around the "board". The pouch measures 2 1/4" across X 2 3/4" long, so there is plenty of room should you also want it to hold your dice.

A special piece to play on or just display as a work of Inuit art!
