I love this new necklace design so much that I've made a couple for myself in different colors. The seafoam green colored, chunky resin cubes measure about 1/2 inch each side. The necklace is dramatic, but the resin beads are so light weight, you hardly know you have it on. Hand-wired on green enameled copper with pale green faceted Czech glass beads. Finished with a small gunmetal toggle clasp. Necklace measures just over 18 inches.

This new design has been popular. I sold several at a recent "green" craft show since they use recycled telephone wire. Perfect for fall! Bright orange and deep burgundy resin beads are knotted onto orange telephone wire into a fun, double-strand necklace. Nice and casual, though I have a longer version in black that I wear to work regularly.

Necklace measures 22 inches and is finished with a silver-tone toggle clasp.

Vintage Swarovski crystals - clear with a lovely AB finish (aroura borealis) sit inside vintage pearlescent beads. The pearlescent beads, made of plastic, remind me of calla lily flowers. These earrings are bold and beautiful! The coral and blue colors pair together nicely. The matte resin coral bead measures 3/4 of an inch is adorned with tiny gray-blue faceted AB Czech glass beads; hand-wired with gunmetal wire to a unique square glass bead with a design that reminds me of rock striations: layers of blue, coral and brown. I found these lovely beads at a huge gem & jewelry show that comes through town a couple of times a year. They're from India. Bits and pieces of real turquoise are "reconstituted" into different shapes, then sealed. The result is a "mosaic" of turquoise, black, grays and white. Hand-wired on black-enameled copper wire and finished with sterling silver hooks. Beads measure an inch across (little bigger than a quarter) and hang about an inch and a half.

These big, 3/4 inch, glittery blue beads remind me of the super bouncy balls that my little brother, Tommy, and I used to buy from bubble gum machines and bounce all over the house - driving the cats crazy. I recently stopped into the bead shop where I used to work in college and the owner said she bought these fun beads from African traders (I miss getting to meet and talk with bead traders - always fascinating characters!) Who knows where these beads actually come from. Blue beads made of resin and glitter are hand-wired on blue enameled copper wire. Finished with a silver tone toggle clasp. Length measures about 19 inches.

I've been playing with the resin on recycled telephone wire necklaces - and I keep adding strands! The sculptural aspect to the wire really makes for a striking multi-strand necklace. Bright green resin rounded cubes are knotted onto green telephone wire into a fun, triple-strand necklace. Largest beads measure nearly 3/4 inch wide. Funky and casual, though I have a longer version in black that I wear to work regularly.

Longest strand measures about 25 inches. Shortest strand measures about 22 inches. Finished with a silver-tone toggle clasp.

These beads are so cool! I found them at Byzantium (where I worked back in college). There were always African and Afghani bead traders passing through. Some of the nicest people I've met in my life. She bought these from one of the guys I remember. Who knows where they're actually from, but they had a few colors. I should have bought all of them - they've sold out and can't just reorder. Plastic beads are a beautiful amber color with funky, sparkly glitter to spice them up. Hand-wired on copper wire and paired with 4mm copper rounds. Finished with simple gold-filled hooks. Earrings hang 1.75 inches.

Light as a feather. I bought these irregularly shaped, concave disks from another Etsy artist who lives in Turkey. She uses a heated torch and pen to form and burn designs in pieces of recycled PET plastic bottles. These earrings have a flower on one and dragonflies on the other. Hand-wired to black enameled copper and finished with sterling silver hooks. Disks measure about 2 inches long and 1.5 inches wide. Earrings hang about 2.5 inches.

Peachy pink faceted Czech glass rondelles are hand-wired together with gunmetal wire and accented with vintage-style caps. Strung on Japanese glass seed beads, this necklace is worn by wrapping the two strands into a knot.

Be sure to put it on before knotting. It's not a super long lariat. Once knotted, the circumference is about 20 inches, and the dangles hang down about 4.5 inches further.
