This little collage train was inspired by my young son's love of vehicles and buttons.

The train is cut out of an old book page, and painted with red, green and blue acrylic paint. The train is attached to a piece of Arches watercolor paper that measures 4"x6". Antique buttons are carefully sewn on using embroidery floss.

Little Car in Light Olive

This is a cute little collage car inspired by my young son's love of anything with wheels + buttons.

The car itself has been cut out of and old book page and painted in a soft light olive acrylic paint. The car was then attached to a piece of Arches watercolor paper measuring 4"x6". Finally two little button wheels have been sewn on using embroidery floss.

Little Yellow School Bus

No car collection is complete without a little yellow school bus!

This bus was cut out of an old book page, covered with acrylic paint and attached to a 4"x6" piece of Arches watercolor paper. The (old) buttons have been sewn onto the watercolor paper using embroidery thread.

Little Truck in Bright Red

This little red truck was inspired by my little boy's love of buttons and vehicles:

The red truck is made out of an old book page covered in acrylic paint. The truck has been mounted on a 4"x6" piece of Arches watercolor paper. The two (old) little buttons used in this little piece were found in a big old jar bought at auction and have been carefully sewn on.
