Driving towards Eastern Washington I came across this teapot outside of the small town of Zillah. It is a gas station, opened in 1922, and unfortunately closed several years ago. Still it makes for a delightful stop.

I made this photograph in the cemetery at Fort Chadbourne, the ruins of a frontier fort in West Texas. The complete engraving read "The beautiful and the good die young." I imagine this is a soldier's grave.

A unique 4" x 4" x 1.5" photo block ~

The wood has been stained a rich, smooth walnut (semi-gloss). Ready to hang ~ or display freestanding on your desk, shelf or tabletop.

The combination of the black and white image with the lovely woodgrain create a simple but striking appearance.

Teatime Photogram Block

A one of a kind photogram of a little teabag, mounted on hardwood blocks~

I made this photogram in a black and white darkroom and then divided the image on two wooden blocks. The print is mounted and sealed with clear archival varnish, giving the surface a slight texture.

The blocks sit freestanding. Place on your desk, tabletop or shelf ~ you can display them stacked flush or slightly ajar for an interesting look.

When stacked, the image measures 3" x 4" (each block is 2" x 3") and just under an inch in thickness. A neat little way to display simple but striking photogram images.
