Yes Apple!! I cut this apple tree here in Maine and decided to try making frames with it. It is a beautiful wood and will look beautiful on your wall.

This frame is 8 X 10 and will hold an 8 X 10 picture or collage or a painting or print or photo matted to 8 X 10. I can put a saw tooth hanger on the back if buyer requests one in convo or in comments of paypal purchase, otherwise the back is left totally plain and buyer is able to mount their own backing and hanging hardware. Buyer will need to buy their own glass for this frame if they need it to display their pictures (paintings are usually not framed behind glass).

The wood in my frames is approximately 1 7/16" wide and 12/16" thick. I use a round over router bit to smooth the edge of the frame. This is a beautiful frame.

I glue my frames with tight bond glue and v nails for added strength and long lasting beauty. After sanding I use Seal A Sell for 1 coat and 3 coats poly with linseed oil which is non toxic and leaves a nice satin finish that is easy to clean with everyday furniture cleaner.

This frame is incredibly beautiful and will look very nice on a wall. I made several from the same tree so look for future sales of similar wood. Also look at my other frames of different sizes and my unique photos.

This frame is for 6 X 8 art or photo and is a total of approximately 8 5/16" by 10 1/4"

The wood is approximately 1 7/16" wide and 3/4" thick.
This is a naturally quartersawn piece of red oak.

This is a beautiful frame that I made from red oak I cut and kiln dried and then chose pieces to make into a frame. This is a pair of Red oak picture frames for 6X6 art or matte.

The frames are made from the same board so they are almost identical. The red oak was cut in Maine and quarter-sawn, then kiln dried before I hand picked the wood to make the frames.

I use pressure when I glue and v nails for extra strong hold. These frames are high quality and beautiful to the eye.

After I sand the frames I use seal a sell and then 3 coats of poly with linseed oil(non toxic) for a long lasting satin finish that will clean easily with regular furniture cleaner. This is a heirloom quality frame with little or no maintenance.

I made this 8 X 10 Picture frame in my shop after cutting the Oak tree down in the Maine woods and kiln drying the wood. It is a beautiful frame with figure that looks like you can feel it, but in fact it is very smooth. This is an unbelievably beautiful frame.

I have used one coat seal a sell and 3 coats non toxic Poly with linseed oil. This is a very smooth Satin finish that is easy to clean with everyday furniture cleaner.

This frame is more beautiful in person and made very well by gluing with v nails for added strength.

This frame is 8 X 10 and will hold an 8 X 10 picture or an 8 X 10 matte that can hold a collage or a smaller photo. Buyer can mount art or photos in this frame.

Mahogany Small Scraper

This is a small scraper that my 11 yr old son made from scratch in our wood working shop. He cut this from a piece of mahogany wood that I had laying around and hand sanded it to be very smooth. This is a light weight wonderfully sized cooking utensil.My wife uses hers all the time and will attest to the fact that is an essential utensil in our kitchen! The scraper is finished with food safe butchers block conditioner and will be a long lasting finish when used normally in any kitchen. Cleaning is hand wash in soap and water, not dish washer safe. This can be wiped down with mineral oil to replenish the oil if needed.

Large Cherry Scraper- utensil

This is a utensil that is handmade by our 12 yr old son Austin. They are made with Cherry which is a hardwood. They are cut out with a scrol saw and sanded with a spindle sander than hand sanded for a smooth finish. They are coated with 3 coats of butchers block oil which is a combination of beeswax and walnut oil for a long lasting food safe finish that can be touched up with mineral oil if needed.

This is a real hard wood utensil made for food use and must be hand washed. Dishwasher is NOT recommended. This can be used in any pan as it is not metal and will not scratch non-stick pans if used as recommended by manufacturer.

This utensil is approximately 2 1/4" X 9" X 5/8" no 2 are exactly alike.

20 inch multi hardwoods Cutting Board

This 20" cutting board is handcrafted with the same beautiful hard woods as my 16 inch board. I use the edge grain for maximum long lasting cutting. This board is made with Cherry, Locust, Sugar (Rock) Maple, Red Oak, White Oak, and Ash to create a beautiful multi toned cutting board that you will question whether to use it as art or a functioning board ( my wife uses hers daily!!) Both sides are usable for cutting. This board is 1" thick and 12"wide x 20" long.

I use food safe glue and pressure to make this board long lasting and safe for food cutting. This board is ready to use and has 3 coats of food salad bowl finish to preserve the the beauty of the wood and give it a nice shine (unfinished available). The board can be left as is and still retain its functioning beauty but it also can be cleaned with warm soapy water and once in a while wiped down with either mineral oil or olive oil to keep the water from drying out the wood.

This is a natural wood and can not be cleaned in the dishwasher.

The finish to this frame is 1 coat Seal-a-Cell and 3 coats of poly gel(53% Linseed Oil) which leaves a non toxic, long lasting finish. The shine will hold for years to come with simple care of wiping with furniture cleaner as you would any other wood furniture in your home.

I made this frame from scratch in my home wood working shop. It is made with cherry wood which is a hard wood. This piece has some unique swirls and spots in the grains. Cherry is a gorgeous wood that ages into more beauty.

This is a naturally beautiful frame that I cut from a cherry tree in the woods in Maine. After which I sawed out and kiln dried the wood. Then I hand chose the beautiful pieces of wood that I thought would go nicely in a frame. After I plane down the pieces of wood and cut them to fit in a frame, I glue, clamp and then V-Nail the back corners for extra good holding. I sand the frame more and then I coat it with Seal-A-Cell and then 3 coats of Poly with linseed oil. This finish is satin and will clean with normal furniture cleaner.

I have hand stamped the back of each frame to show it is hand made by me in my Athens Maine shop.

This frame is 8 X 8" and will hold an 8 X 8" picture or an 8 X 8" matte that can hold a collage or a smaller photo. Buyer can mount art or photos in this frame. It is made with wood tha is Approximately 1 1/2" wide and 3/4" thick. The frame itself is 10 5/16" X 10 5/16" total measurement of the outside of the frame.

I can put a Saw tooth hanger on the back of the frame if you state which you want, horizontal or vertical. Or I can enclose it in shipping. This frame is for 6 X 8 art or photo and is a total of approximately 8 5/16" by 10 1/4"

The wood is approximately 1 7/16" wide and 3/4" thick.

This is a beautiful frame that I made from Red Oak wood I cut and kiln dried and then chose pieces to make into a frame. The Oak tree was dieing and this gives the wood a unique brown color instead of red.

I use tight bond glue with v nails and pressure to glue the frame for a professional quality bonded frame. I used a round over router bit to smooth the outer edges of the frame. I put one coat seal a sell and 3 coats poly with linseed oil for a satin finish that is easily cleaned with every day furniture cleaner.

I can mount a saw tooth hanger on the back if buyer specifies horizontal or vertical desire. Otherwise the frame is left bare as some buyers choose to mount their own hanging hardware. Buyer will need to mount backing and decide if glass is needed, it can be purchased at a glass shop or a hardware store relatively cheap. The back of the frame is smooth and has my name and town burned in it for authenticity. There is room edged in the back for matte and backing.

The frame is glued with Tight Bond glue and dried with clamping pressure for a strong hold. This frame is also held with V-nails making it a family heirloom quality. This frame will last forever and be passed on for generations to come. The finish to this frame is non toxic Polyurethane and leaves a long lasting finish. The buyer can mount their own picture or pictures with Matte of their own. This frame holds a 8X10 picture or matte that can size the photos to a custom size. I can mount the hanging hardware either horizontal or vertical or I can enclose it so the buyer can mount it themselves. The hardware is easily mounted on the back of the frame. Cherry Small Scraper

This is a small scraper that my 11 yr old son made from scratch in our wood working shop. He cut this from a piece of cherry wood that I had laying around and hand sanded it to be very smooth. This is a light weight wonderfully sized cooking utensil. My wife uses hers all the time and will attest to the fact that is an essential utensil in our kitchen! The scraper is finished with food safe butchers block conditioner and will be a long lasting finish when used normally in any kitchen. Cleaning is hand wash in soap and water, not dish washer safe. This can be wiped down with mineral oil to replenish the oil if needed.

I made this frame from scratch in my home wood working shop. It is made with Red Oak.

This frame is a naturally beautiful frame that I made from wood I cut in the woods in Maine, after which I sawed out and kiln dried the wood. After I plane down the pieces of wood and cut them to fit in a frame, I glue, clamp and then V-Nail the back corners for extra good holding. I use food safe glue and pressure to make this board long lasting and safe for food cutting. This board is ready to use and has a finish of Mahoney's Oil Wax Finish which is a blend of Beewax, Carnauba Wax & Walnut Oil to preserve the the beauty of the wood and give it a long lasting all natural finish. The board can be left as is and still retain its functioning beauty but it also can be cleaned with warm soapy water and once in a while wiped down with either mineral oil or walnut oil to keep the water from drying out the wood. This is a natural wood and can not be cleaned in the dishwasher.

This frame is handcrafted in my home woodshop and is made with white Ash. This is a very handsome frame. I cut this ash and took it to the kiln to dry it, then cut it into pieces I hand picked for this frame. I made several at the same time, so some more will be available of very similar appearance but they are uniquely different because of the way wood and their grain is. I use clamping pressure and glue with v nails to give a very professional looking well made frame.

This frame is made to hold a 12X12 picture or matted pictures. the wood is 3/4" thick and 1 1/2" wide. The frame is a total of 14 3/8" across both sides. Buyer will have to put a piece of 12X12 glass in if it is needed to display your pictures. I can put a saw tooth hanger on the back if buyer requests one in convo or in comments of paypal purchase, otherwise the back is left totally plain and buyer is able to mount their own backing and hanging hardware.

This frame is very beautiful to look at and will compliment anything the buyer wishes to display in it. It is a light whitish wood with very light tan grain lines. I think the pictures are pretty accurate of its beauty. Of course it will be more beautiful in person.

This frame is sanded to a smooth finish and has one coat of seal a sell and 3-4 coats of poly and linseed oil satin finish. This frame is easily cared for with a simple wiping off with any household furniture cleaner.

I made this frame from scratch in my home wood working shop. It is made with soft maple which is actually a hardwood. The wood is slightly spalted. This is a unique frame.

This is a naturally beautiful frame that I made from wood I cut from the woods in Maine, after which I sawed out and kiln dried the wood. Then I hand chose the beautiful pieces of wood that I thought would go nicely in a frame. After I plane down the pieces of wood and cut them to fit in a frame, I glue, clamp and then V-Nail the back corners for extra good holding. I sand the frame more and then I coat it with a coat of seal a sell and then 3 coats of poly with linseed oil. This finish is satin gloss yet very smooth and will clean with normal furniture cleaner.

This frame is 11 X 14 and will hold an 11 X 14 picture or painting or a smaller photo matted to 11 X 14.

I can put a Saw tooth hanger on the back of the frame if you state that you want one. Or I can enclose it in shipping. I made this frame from scratch in my home wood working shop. It is made with oak from a red oak tree I cut in Maine. The grains are clearly defined if not more beautiful than the photo shows. The clear satin finish brings out the grains more.

This is a naturally beautiful frame made from wood that I cut from the woods in Maine, after which I sawed out and kiln dried the wood. Then I hand chose the beautiful pieces of wood that I thought would go nicely in a frame. After I plane down the pieces of wood and cut them to fit in a frame, I glue, clamp and then V-Nail the back corners for extra good holding. I sand the frame more and then I coat it with Seal-A-Cell and then 3 coats of Poly with linseed oil. This finish is satin and will clean with normal furniture cleaner.

I have hand stamped the back of each frame to show it is hand made by me in my Athens Maine shop.
This frame is 5 X 7" and will hold an 5 X 7" picture or an 5 X 7" matte that can hold a collage or a smaller photo. Buyer can mount art or photos in this frame. It is made with wood that is Approximately 1 1/4" wide and 5/8" thick.

I can put a Saw tooth hanger on the back of the frame if you state which you want one horizontal or vertical or I can enclose it in shipping. Buyer is going to need to buy glass (painted art is not displayed behind glass) The glass would be 5 X 7 buyer can purchase it at a hardware store or glass cutting store inexpensively or used from an old frame you are replacing. Buyer will also need to provide backing and tabs or other means of holding art in.

This is a Hand Crafted Maine Made ButterNut (with worm tracks) 18 X 3/4" X 11 1/4" (Actual outside measurement) Picture Frame which I made in my own workshop.

This frame is made with a beautiful Butternut hardwood which was cut in Maine. This wood was kiln dried. The frame is glued with TightBond glue and dried with clamping pressure for a strong hold. This frame is also held with V-nails making it a family heirloom quality. This frame will last forever and be passed on for generations to come.

The finish to this frame is 1 coat Seal-A-Sell and 3 coats non toxic Polyurethane with linseed oil and leaves a long lasting finish. The buyer can mount their own picture or pictures with Matte of their own. This frame has an area of 16 5/8" X 9" for custom matte or one long painting.

I can mount the hanging hardware either horizontal or vertical or I can enclose it so the buyer can mount it themselves. The hardware is easily mounted on the back of the frame. Please indicate direction or I will assume you do not want a hanger.

Because of shipping hazards I do not include glass. Buyer can purchase glass at their own local hardware store or a glass store by simply ordering it. Glass is not used when framing oil paintings.

I made this frame from scratch in my home wood working shop. It is made with Spalted (rotting on the stump) White Birch Hardwood. Each spalted frame is different depending on the rot and how far along it is while still remaining healthy enough to make a frame).

This is a 3 toned naturally beautiful frame that I cut from the woods in Maine, after which I sawed out and kiln dried the wood. Then I hand chose the beautiful Pieces of wood that I thought would go nicely in a frame. After I plane down the pieces of wood and cut them to fit in a frame, I glue, clamp and then V-Nail the back corners for extra good holding. I sand the frame more and then I coat it with Seal-A-Cell and then 3 coats of poly with linseed oil. This finish is satin and will clean with normal furniture cleaner.

I have hand stamped the back of each frame to show it is hand made by me in my Athens Maine shop.

This frame is 11 X 14 and will hold an 11 X 14 picture or an 11 X 14 matte that can hold a collage or a smaller photo. Buyer can mount art or photos in this frame.
I can put a Saw tooth hanger on the back of the frame if you state which you want, horizontal or vertical. Or I can enclose it in shipping. This is a naturally beautiful frame that I cut from the woods in Maine, after which I sawed out and kiln dried the wood. Then I hand chose the beautiful pieces of wood that I thought would go nicely in a frame. After I plane down the pieces of wood and cut them to fit in a frame, I glue, clamp and then V-Nail the back corners for extra good holding. I sand the frame more and then I coat it with Seal-A-Cell and then 3 coats of Poly with linseed oil which is an organic non toxic oil. This finish is satin yet very smooth and will clean with normal furniture cleaner.
The frame itself is 1 3/4" wide wood. The thickness is approximately 3/4" thick. This frame will hold a 16 X 20 picture or artwork. Buyer can mount art or photos or even Mirror glass in this frame.

I use food safe glue and pressure to make this board long lasting and safe for food cutting. This board is ready to use and has a finish of Mahoney's Oil Wax Finish which is a blend of Beewax, Carnauba Wax & Walnut Oil to preserve the the beauty of the wood and give it a long lasting all natural finish. The board can be left as is and still retain its functioning beauty but it also can be cleaned with warm soapy water and once in a while wiped down with either mineral oil or walnut oil to keep the water from drying out the wood. This is a natural wood and can not be cleaned in the dishwasher.

This unique picture frame is made from Curly Rock Maple wood with bubble figure that I made from a tree I cut here in Maine.

20 X 20 Frame includes Saw tooth Hanger which I can mount if requested. The wood is 2 3/8" wide and 7/8" thick. The frame itself is actually about 24 1/4 by 24 1/4 total. This frame holds art or mirror glass the size of 20x20.

Buyer will need to mount mirror glass, art or photography with a backing if needed. Due to shipping hazards I do not include glass but it can be purchased inexpensively from a glass cutter or hardware store.

This frame is made to hold a 12 X 12 picture or matted pictures. the wood is 3/4" thick and 1 1/2" wide. The frame is a total of 14 3/8" across both sides. Buyer will have to put a piece of 12X12 glass in if it is needed to display your pictures. I can put a saw tooth hanger on the back if buyer requests one in convo or in comments of paypal purchase, otherwise the back is left totally plain and buyer is able to mount their own backing and hanging hardware.

This 3 toned frame is very beautiful to look at and will compliment anything the buyer wishes to display in it. The grains are very distinct and make this a very unique frame. The edge is rounded with a round over router bit. I think the pictures are pretty accurate of its beauty. Of course it will be more beautiful in person.

This frame is sanded to a smooth finish and has one coat of seal a sell and 3-4 coats of poly and linseed oil satin finish. This frame is easily cared for with a simple wiping off with any household furniture cleaner.

This frame is handcrafted in my home wood shop and is made with cherry. This is a very handsome frame. I cut this cherry tree in the woods here in Maine and took it to the kiln to dry it, then cut it into pieces I hand picked for this frame. I use clamping pressure and glue with v nails to give a very professional looking well made frame.

8 X 10 Cherry Picture Frame

I made this frame in my home wood working shop here in Maine, from cherry wood I sawed from a tree and kiln dried, then hand picked pieces of wood to make this beautiful frame. The wood I use in this frame is about 3/4" thick and about 1 1/2" wide. I have other Cherry frames that are similar if you want more than one I can tell you which ones are a close match. This batch is a lot darker than the others listed as the tree was dying on the stump.

I use clamping pressure when gluing the frames and also use v nails for added long lasting strength. This frame is heirloom quality and will last a long time. I use seal a sell and 3 coats of non toxic poly with linseed oil for a satin finish that requires only regular dusting or furniture cleaner for maintenance.

This frame will hold a 8 X 10 piece of art or photo and or matte. The buyer will need to matte their art and buy glass if needed from a local glass cutter. The buyer will need to use fasteners of their own to keep their art in as we have no way of knowing how thick the buyers art will be. Some people choose to use small finish nails when inserting art. There is also a tool that does the tabs but they need to be hardwood tabs. I can mount a saw tooth hanger on these frames if buyer requests in message to seller when purchasing, Or I can enclose the saw tooth hangers if requested. Other wise none will be included in the sale.
