This pretty little box was decorated by me using polymer clay, iridescent blue and clear glass gems, sparkly iridescent Swarovski crystals and a metal angel with the words "Scatter Kindness" on her flowing robe.

It was embossed with lots of little snowflakes and painted with acrylic paint and touched with gold and silver leaf. Light sparkles and dances on the crystal and gems.

It would make a lovely gift box or a pretty trinket box to adorn a dresser or shelf.

It measures 4" in diameter and is 2.25" tall.

I created this beautiful pendant with a polished jasper cabochon, polymer clay and metallic wax in antique gold, jade and a touch of silver leaf. Sea Sediment jasper is one of my favorite types of jasper, they are all so unique and the richness of the color is outstanding. The cab was polished to a glass like finish.

I created this ACEO with polymer clay and added jewel tone 'shimmer stones' from a fellow etsian. They glow and sparkle so beautifully! The background was textured with ferns and a few of my handmade stamps and it was painted with acrylic paint and metallic wax.

I love the earthly look of this piece. It reminds me of my secret spot by a creek in the woods where I would go to reflect on life (and hide from my siblngs lol)

ACEO stands for Artist Cards Editions and Originals. They are small, affordable, collectible works of art and can be made of any material. The only rule is their size which is 2.5" x 3.5" or the size of a baseball trading card.

This would look wonderful framed in a shadow box with small silk ferns or vines or placed on a little easel. You could even attach a magnet to the back and begin your own little art gallery on your fridge! (why not? I have one LOL)

I've decorated this hinged wooden trinket box with polymer clay and iridescent red glass gems all surrounding a hand-tooled piece of copper with the raised image of a Cicada in the center. After curing the clay it was painted with metallic paints in antique gold, emerald and Grecian gold

The lower portion of the box was painted with acrylics and decorative textured paper dresses up the bottom. A dangly Sun and Moon earring adorns the front and the box is held closed by strong tiny magnets. The finished piece is lightweight but durable.

It measures 5" x 5" x 2.5"

Steampunk Box Polymer clay

This is a wooden box covered in polymer clay with all sorts of watch parts, nuts, washers, iridescent blue glass gem, silver chain, a coil, a key and some really cool pointy thingys that I found in my tool box! LOL If anyone knows what they are please step forward. XD

The box measures 5" across on the top, the bottom measures 4" across and it is 3.5" tall at the coiled handle. It looks black but is actually a dark blue with burnished antique gold accents.

I took apart six different old watches looking for gears that I could use but to my dismay most of the inner workings were plastic! (on a side note, no matter what shape the outside of the watch was, the inner workings looked exactly the same...must be a factory overseas that supplies everyone!)I went to the antique mall in search of truly old watches or watch parts but to no avail. Sigh* Still I think it turned out pretty darn cool (IMHO)

Mosaic Glass Lidded Square Glass Jar

I've taken a very nice lidded jar made of heavy glass and added pieces of art glass and iridescent glass gems. The art glass is a assortment of textured, iridescent, marbled and opaque varieties. Surrounding the glass and gems is black polymer clay. Once the clay was cured, I painted it with a variety of metallic paints in antique gold, jade, emerald and gold leaf.

The jar weighs nearly 3lbs and measures 4.75" square and 5" tall.

This is a one of a kind piece of functional art. Beautiful on it's own, it could also be used to hold any number of things! It is especially pretty when placed near a sunny window.

It reminds me of a lotus pod in a way...either that or an alien asteroid or moonscape LOL

I've created this unique vase by upcycling an old ceramic jar. I sculpted the mermaid from various shades of clay from creamy ivory to the auburn and brown shades in her hair. I added a shell, sand dollar and fish of solid brass tangled in her flowing tresses. The roping around the neck of the vase is also polymer clay.
An acrylic patina was applied and her face was also painted with acrylics.
This is a one of a kind vase and would make a very unique gift for yourself or someone special on your holiday shopping list!
The vase is glazed ceramic and it is water-tight. It could be used for a variety of things from fresh flowers, dried or silk flowers to pencils, paint brushes or simply as a decorative display piece.

Once the clay was cured, it was painted with metallic paints for a satiny shine. The silver feather dangles from the brooch and there is a pin attached to the back.

I've created this tile with Fimo polymer clay, liquid Sculpey and PearlEx powdered pigments. The backing is treated hardboard and it is very durable.

The colors range from flamingo pink and eggplant to parrot green, leaf green and golden yellow. The colors have a satiny shimmer to them thanks to the mica powder. I added glass gems in shades of blue and green that glisten like rainbow droplets. It's so pretty!

Polymer clay and Glass Decorative Flask

I made this elegant bottle by covering a glass flask with polymer clay in black and various shades of brown. Brass chain and creamy glass gems were added. I gave the clay a variety of textures and added hundreds of little balls of clay for the pebbly look you see. (which is my signature style :) It really looks like a leather covered bottle! Some say it is a secret potion bottle, others say that it looks as though a genie will appear if you rub it. I dunno...give it a try!

Once the clay was cured, it was "antiqued" with an acrylic wash and touches of metallic gold were added here and there.

The clay covers the lip of the bottle so I wouldn't recommend actually drinking from it. It is for decorative purposes only! It is able to hold water and could be used as a vase however.

It measures 7.25" tall by 3.5" wide.

What a proud pair, the king and the prince. The prince looks a bit smug but how can you resist all of those curls! The king looks rather fierce but he's really a pussy cat. There are pretty sun flowers adorning one side. Each hair on their manes and tail was applied one strand at a time. Time consuming but I love the results.

Made of poymer clay over ceramic, this is an actual bank with a rubber stopper on the bottom. It was made with Super Sculpey, baked to cure the clay and then painted with acrylic paint.

I created this beauty by covering a hollow chicken egg with polymer clay. I added the swirls and pebbly bits, cured the piece to harden the clay and painted it with acrylic and metallic paint and sprayed it with an acrylic sealer to protect it.

Simple Leaf Notebook Polymer Clay

I found this fun little notebook and decided it needed some polymer clay adornments. :)The leaf is handmade by me of green polymer clay and various leaf, butterfly and circle polymer clay cane. No paints were used at all, just clay. I textured the surface of the book with an acrylic glaze which is glossy and makes a nice contrast to the matte finish of the clay.

It has 60 lined pages and measures 8.75" x 4".

Use it to jot down notes, thoughts, ideas. It could also be used for grocery or to do lists and once the pages are used up, the leaf could be removed and made into a magnet or attached to another journal!
