Small birds like Parakeets and Cockatiels can get into the same trouble with feather plucking as the big birds do. That is why I scaled down my original Prozak Preener to include the little ones.

Made with a 3" vine twist, this size offers up all the goodies that the large version has. Wooden spools hang from Paulie Rope, which is a hollow rope that will not trap toes or tangle. To add depth of texture, soft cotton rope with shreddable capabilities hangs ever so gently down the body of the toy.

Along with the larger version, Mini Prozak Preener, has been a sellout in my hometown of Portland. I hope that your bird will be just as satisfied.

Just like the big boys, now your little one can have his cake and eat it too. Mini Handball is the small version of my regular Handball.

Hanging at 9", it's long and lean. The small clapper hand holds five rows of plastic chain with soft spiny balls dangling at the end. This toy offers texture and movement that is stimulating and fun for all those small but mighty birds out there.

It doesn't take much to get the balls swinging and swaying and the chain rattling. My Cockatiel loves to "preen" the spiny balls and run in and out of the swaying chains while they are in motion. This toy is great for birds ranging from Parrotlets to Cockatiels.

If your bird just loves to make noise with his toys, then Handball is the toy for him. I created this toy for birds that like to move things and hear the sound they make in motion. This toy clacks, rattles and rolls.

A full twelve inches from top to bottom, it's a slap happy toy that will have your bird shaking his booty in no time. I started out with a plastic clapper hand and added plastic chain and wiffle golf balls. All are connected with zinc free o rings and topped off with a pear link.

This toy would be a great addition to your birds toy box, whether he be a Conure, Grey, or Amazon.

When asked to make my paper puff toy into something a larger bird could enjoy, I went straight to the task. What resulted was a great toy for the bigger birds.

This softball sized puff comes stuffed with confetti shreds and paper cups. But I didn't stop there. I added a great pop of color with the plastic spool and a wonderful cozy texture with the supreme cotton rope at the bottom.

This toy has already been a quick hit in the short time I have created it. I am pleased that now the big kids get to shred their own paper puff like the smaller ones.

Birds that love a toy with mulitple feature will find this toy delightful. I believe that preening in very important to birds. They preen themselves to keep clean and groomed. They preen flock mates for grooming and bonding time. Why, my bird even preens my hair!

With all this preening going on I just had to add this toy to my collection. The stuffed ball contains shredded paper that can be teased out of the holes and the cotton rope offers a softer, more subtle preening experience. And for a little diversion to all that preening, there are plastic shapes to taste and explore with the tongue.

I had a delightful time creating this and I hope your bird finds delight in it too. Larger Conures, Amazons, and Greys would find this toy a tactile extraveganza!
