CHARCOAL GRAY WITH FLAME FLORAL (3) EMBROIDERY DESIGNS

Warm fleece wrap; wear it or warm up under it. This great wrap, poncho style is like carrying around you own personal blanket. The wrap is easy to slough off your shoulders when it gets too warm or you need to move around. They are a Great weight for those nights that you sit up and read, sew or play on your computer. You will love the weight of it not heavy just warm. I carry one in my car all year around, just in case the air conditioner is blowing on me directly. When I travel I take it along. Plane blankets are so thin and the busses are freezing in the summer as well as winter. I live in Texas and I love my shorts, so this helps keep me comfy cozy in air conditioned public spaces.

The wrap is made using POLAR FLEECE (THE PRINTS) or ALPINE (SOLIDS). I have in stock Purple, Maroon, and Cream or off White depending on who you ask, Black, Navy, Royal and Charcoal Gray. *** three designs on this one ****

The print on this page is no longer available, as Polar Fleece only brings one Black & White pattern a season. The picture is for the pattern only. This one was a birthday gift for Mekdes to use at her office. If you have a particular color you would like it can be done. I am all about custom work. Custom orders will be 3 – 5 day turnaround.

The fleece is sewn using a serger to cover all the edges. Decorative stitching is sewn around the neck line and down each front to reinforce the shape. Wash in machine on warm or cold normal cycle, dry in machine on permapress or knit. Fleece is not cotton, it is 100% acrylic, so avoid hot dryers.

These darling little gifts are approximately 5”x 4” with mini button holes that use a ribbon to string and tie through as they hang onto the bottle of detergent, cream, or even a wine bottle. They are machine embroidered on cotton and have contrasting or coordinating threads and are backed. There is a sandwich of three stabilizers between the front and back fabrics to give them a bit of shaping.

These are so darn cute, and very different. They are embroidered on cotton and have three layers of stabilizer to keep their shape. On the back I have fixed a thin magnet, strong enough to hold them to the surface of most anything. In the second picture I have one on the microwave.

I do many different styles of magnets. Most are less than 4” square. Please look through the listed ones.

I can also make a monogram for that really special friend. I have shown a single initial embroidered on real Ultra Suede*. This design is my “C”, I have approximately 40 embroidery fonts. If you have read my other ads, you probably know I love doing custom work. Please do not hesitate to ask me for something not shown.

It’s a BABY Shower!
Banner for doorway or window to let your guests know they are in the right place. I made the first one of these for a shower in May 2009. It was a big hit and lead to three more banners for summer showers. I am listing one pink and one blue for your consideration. I can make these darling banners with any color ribbon you need. THE PIECES ARE STITCHED TOGETHER ON THE RIBBON WITH A DECORATIVE UMBRELLA STITCH.

Banner is made from Redwork designs on 9 ½” white print baby flannel. The three pieces are backed with a medium weight stabilizer for durability, and each piece is serger finished to prevent fraying. If for some reason it becomes dirty the item is completely washable. I would place it into a lingerie bag to keep the ribbons from tangling up with other items.

Beautiful machine embroidered oversized receiving blankets. Cut approximately 45”x45” finished to 42”x42” square (crib size) super soft flannel in WHITE. This size blanket has many uses in the nursery, as well as for adults or children in Special Care Facilities. They provide a light covering to prevent drafts on body or just legs. For baby or toddler, use them when going away from home to cover up surfaces to protect child from unseen elements. Take one along for the car seat, or stroller. These blankets make great gifts for newborn or toddler. What a nice item to have something personalized. CONVO for PRICING of lettering

The flannel I use is high count cotton, suitable for quilting. The fabric is cut and washed to remove sizing and this allows the threads to shrink. The flannel is then embroidered and finished with a serger rolled hem. It is washed again and ready to use as soon as you receive it.
This size is suitable for a wheelchair bound child. Adults like security blankets, as well. Machine wash on cold or warm, dry on cotton or permapress settings.

"S" is for Susan, Sherry, Sheri, Stefanie... you get my drift. This set was made for Susan to personalize all sorts of things.
Letter initials for easy recognition of what is yours. DO you go to a class with scissors; do your children loose their items at the day care? This tiny 1 1/2” square embroidery initial help to keep what supplies you bring away from home, from going home with someone else. I found this idea on a creative embroidery site, and it has become a much welcome notion to my Mother and me. She attends quilting guild and I pack and go with my “stuff” to customer meetings. Now I know we will not loose that favorite pair of thread snips.
My niece requested a set for her toddler at daycare. She put one on the ribbon of the bottle straps, even though they were made by me and no one would have that design, it didn’t keep them from disappearing. Blankie and other personal items are now marked with these.
This set shown is for Susan, shown pictured with a custom bag I am designing. We will use three as zipper pulls for all the interior pouches, and one for her cell.

Items are made using my favorite fabric Ultra Suede* and a cotton backing. A piece of all cotton batting low loft is sandwiched between. You will only need to decide how you wish to utilize this must have design item.
Other things we did with these, key chain, cell phone charm, zipper pull, appliqué on baseball cap, appliqué on sweater and baby jacket, make a pin or use as a charm on a ribbon necklace. There really are no limits to this great personalized item.

Sunbonnet Sue quilt kit.

Included are 30 8"x8" squares of cotton flannel backed with 100% warm and natural batting that have been embroidered with the cutest alphabet (26) and 4 corner squares. You can choose to have either hearts or the word princess as corner pieces. Instructions for both are included, and a layout as well.

Using a 1" fringe the finished top is approximately 30"x40" as a rag quilt. To make a conventional sewn top, use a 1/4" seam allowance for approx. 35x42. You need only add borders and sashes to make it a twin or larger.

This kit is made to order with your choices of colors. I use all cotton flannel, and batting for the top. I use top quality threads to embroidery the pieces. You can be sure of the wash and dry aspect of the finished quilt.

I have made many of the sets for new baby gifts. However, I must say it is fabulous for any age little girl.

16 Square 4 x 4 layout finished without borders 36"x36"
sewing with a 1/4" seam allowance.

Butterfly and hearts are embroidered onto 10”x10” soft pink flannel squares,with batting between the fabric and the stabilizer. This is referred to as trapunto quilting. The added batting during this step produces a raised or stuffed area, therefore gives depth to the design.

This kit includes 10 squares and 6 coordinating cotton fabric squares. The squares are trimed to 91/2" square for assembling the top. The finished coverlet is 36”x36” square. The squares are on soft light pink cotton snuggle flannel and the fabric squares are 100% quilters’ quality cotton. I used matching threads to embroider the designs so they match extremely well. See the pictures below.

The finished size of your quilt is perfect for a preemie or bassinett, perhaps you need a little blankie for trave? this size is great.
Included you will receive an instruction sheet with a sample pattern along with a materials list. Include are instructions and material list for borders and sashes to complete this quilt up to a 51”x51” throw, as well.

Stemware Glass Slippers*

Iced Tea, wine, water & other beverages seam to get lost in a crowd of party goers. If you have had this problem as most of us do, then these dear little novelty slippers are must haves for your next get together. I am making so many different ones for all types of parties that you may want to get yourself more than one set. Christmas sets will only be available to order until December 17,2009.
First let me tell you about them.
Each and every slipper or coaster is made from felt. I have in stock white, red and confetti white. They are two layers of felt, the top being embroidered with a center cutout to accommodate a stem glass. The base is a full circle. These glass slippers* can be made for any occasion where there will be more than one person using the same stemware. The slipper will accommodate any stemware that is no larger than 2 ½” in diameter. They will not fit a red wine bowl or a margarita glass. I am working on an enlarged design, just don’t have it down pat as of yet. However they fit most white wine, Champaign or water goblets. If you are not sure just measure the base of the glasses you have. Pictured is a Libby 6oz.

How I found this great hostess idea.
I originally had a paper doily type from a Charity BUNCO party where there were over 300 women present. In this case each Lady was given a wine glass and a slipper at the door. She then put her name on it and then was able to fill it with whatever beverage she wanted all day long. We took out glass home with us as well. So of course the group responsible did not have that clean up. You may use this idea at your next Charity Ball.

Set 4, a very pretty Poinsettia design for the holidays. I will make this set for you in white, red or in confetti white. The poinsettia shown on the white is done using a wine red color thread, on the red felt I used both cream and pure white, the colors look the same on the red so unless you want a dark cream or say a blue flower, I will do them in white. These goblet covers will look wonderful on your holiday table, or set on the bar area for your guests. Place a few colored pens next to the pile and let the guest name their glass. Would your guest be tickled to receive a "go home with gift" to use again and again? This is a perfect way for your company to keep track of their glass throughout the party. Priced set is 12. You can purchase as many as you need add $1.25 per. I have them shown with a rich GOLDEN border. If you want a RED or GREEN or BURGUNDY just let me know. Warm fleece wrap wear it or warm up under it. This great wrap, poncho style is like carrying around you own personal blanket. The wrap is easy to slough off your shoulders when it gets too warm or you need to move around. They are a Great weight for those nights that you sit up and read, sew or play on your computer. You will love the weight of it not heavy just warm. I carry one in my car all year around, just in case the game room is too cold or the air conditioner is blowing on me directly. When I travel I take it along. Plane blankets are so thin and the busses are freezing in the summer as well as winter. I live in Texas and I love my shorts, so this helps keep me comfy cozy in air conditioned public spaces.
The wraps are made using POLAR FLEESE (THE PRINTS) or ALPINE (SOLIDS). Every season the patterns change. I am only offering at this time solids. Also in stock Purple, Maroon, Soft Blue, and Cream or off White depending on who you ask, Black, Navy, Royal and Charcoal Gray.
I am not crazy about the red at this time it is sort of orangy. I will be listing the pattern fleece I have in stock, and will add new patterns often.
THIS AD IS FOR ONE PINK SOLID ALPINE FLEECE WRAP
The fleece is sewn using a serger to cover all the edges. Then decorative stitching is sewn around the neck line to keep the shape of the neck and to prevent the wrap from becoming stretched out. Fleece does not ravel so there is no need for concern. Wash in machine on warm or cold normal cycle, dry in machine on permapress or knit. Fleece is not cotton, it is 100% acrylic.

Iced Tea wine water & other beverages seam to get lost in a crowd of party goers. If you have had this problem as most of us do, then these dear little novelty slippers are must haves for your next get together. I am making so many different ones for all types of parties that you may want to get yourself more than one set. Christmas sets will only be available to order until November 30, 2008.
First let me tell you about them.

Each and every slipper or coaster is made from felt. I have in stock white, red and confetti white. They are two layers of felt, the top being embroidered with a center cutout to accommodate a stem glass. The base is a full circle. These glass slippers* can be made for any occasion where there will be more than one person using the same stemware. The slipper will accommodate any stemware that is no larger than 2 ½” in diameter. If you are not sure just measure the base of the glasses you have. Pictured is a Libby 6oz.

Set 5, a mixed group of colors in one design for all gatherings. This simple design will be done in a mulitudes of bold colors and will be easily recognixed by the owner of the glass. This is a perfect way for your company to keep track of their glass throughout the party. Priced set is 12. These are so darn cute, and very different. They are embroidered on cotton and have three layers of stabilizer to keep their shape. On the back I have fixed a thin magnet, strong enough to hold them to the surface of most anything. In the second picture I have one on the microwave.

I do many different styles of magnets. Most are less than 4” square. Please look through the listed ones. If you have read my other ads, you probably know I love doing custom work. If I have the design I will do one for you. I can also make a monogram for that really special friend. They will not fit a red wine bowl or a margarita glass. I am working on an enlarged design, just don’t have it down pat as of yet. However they fit most white wine, Champaign or water goblets. If you are not sure just measure the base of the glasses you have. Pictured is a Libby 6oz.

How I found this great hostess idea.
I originally had a paper doily type from a Charity BUNCO party where there were over 300 women present. In this case each Lady was given a wine glass and a slipper at the door. She then put her name on it and then was able to fill it with whatever beverage she wanted all day long. We took out glass home with us as well. So of course the group responsible did not have that clean up. You may use this idea at your next Charity Ball.

Set 6, a mixed group of two designs for the holidays. Designs are a Snowflake and a Starflake. I have done them in the pastels colors on confetti felt. Your hostess would truely enjoy receiving a gift such as this as she can use them again and again throughout the season. As well your guest will be tickled to recieve a "go home with gift" to use again and again. This is a perfect way for your company to keep track of their glass throughout the party. Priced set is 12. You can purchase 12, 24, 36 or 48 or more if you need. Choice is up to you if you want a different border color.

This full set of 12 was made 08-04-08 for Barbara, second picture shows the beautiful colors used.

SET OF EIGHT

This set of coasters consists of eight of the same, only different. Yep each kaleidoscope has a different color in the center. The process is the same as my “glass slippers” with the obvious difference being there is no split for the stem of the glass. I just haven’t worked that out yet.

Set 1 Kaleidoscope .. Eight coasters using felt as the base fabric, one thickness, with stabilizer on the back. These coasters are great to use on top of cork rounds or squares readily available at any home, hobby or office store.

I can and I will make up a set for you using the rounds of cork, however, you may realize that they will be heavy to ship and of course cost more to do. Please consider this if you perhaps want them as a gift and shipped elsewhere. Just send a note and let us discuss cost.

I use these on all of the STONE COASTERS in my house. If you live in a humidity state as I do your glasses drip no matter what you do. I have many sets of stone coasters that just do not do the trick as far as holding all the “sweat” the glasses produce. So when I found these coaster designs it was clear what I needed. I hope you will find some of them in your home soon.

I will be sewing out many different designs on coasters such as this, so look often or write to me and ask for something special. If I can find it, it is yours. As in all my items I strive to please my customers, your choice of fabric colors as well as thread colors are always welcome orders. This length of thread lace has been done using my embroidery machine. It is called FSL.. free standing lace… the process is to layer several stabilizers in to a hoop and then match the bobbin and top threads, then stitch. The stabilizer is then rinsed away and the threads stay as lace.
I have just learned this newest embroidery art, and I am sharing these items in my shop this week. You will find a 6 ½” bracelet length of lace, a set of two pieces that will make a bracelet up to 7 ½” long. I am listing beautiful blue lace for an autism ribbon, use as a pin or magnet or attach directly to the lapel of your coat. Also, this week I am listing a lace bookmark. I have these listed in sets of three, as I think one is never enough. However, you can use them for three small gifts, for perhaps your bible study group, piano teacher, or how about those wonderful people at the library. I guarantee that whoever you decide to gift this to they will remember where they got it.
I have placed a new section for easy finding of my lace items.

Wet hair wrap, turban is 100% cotton terry cloth towel weight. I will make any color for you. This ad is for two White wraps with Shaded Dolphin designs. Two wraps are cut from one towel. Therefore, they will have some towel trim integrated in each. This does not diminish the absorbency of the finished product.
Approximate measurement is 24” long and 8” wide at the crown.
I DO NOT USE VELOUR TOWELS, velour is not absorbent enough.
Why Wrap it??
I started making these just for my daughter Michele who’s hair is long and very thick. She was at one time able to purchase a good weight head towel, but a few years ago the only one she could find was super thin and very expensive.
Next step; call MOM and there came the towels along with her old one all worn out that I used for a pattern. Now you can have these great wraps for yourself or daughters.
You will receive two wraps (from one towel) your color choice. These are great for the beach, gym or pool side as well for just wrapping up after your shower or wrap up for a soothing bath.

To Monogram or Not
For an additional $2.50 I will add an initial to each wrap, to define your property.

A Bit of Nostalgia in these wonderful NEW flour sack kitchen hand towels. size is 30x28" each

I have for your consideration, a set of seven (7) towels made from new flour sack 100% cotton fabric, in a darling old vintage embroidery design. These designs were purchased from a favorite source, and I have permission to make them up for you. I cannot sell the designs, however I will send a link to the site if you wish to embroidery them yourself.

I hope you enjoy my latest endeavor. This set is of mixed colored fruits with bright bold blue lettering for the day of the week. I have used polyester embroidery threads.

Of course as are all my ETSY items, this set can be made in any color of the rainbow to suit your color scheme with just a bit of time. I can do these to your specs in a week turnaround. Please check out all of my sets I am adding today.

Stemware Glass Slippers*

Iced Tea wine water & other beverages seam to get lost in a crowd of party goers. If you have had this problem as most of us do, then these dear little novelty slippers are must haves for your next get together. I am making so many different ones for all types of parties that you may want to get yourself more than one set. Christmas sets will only be available to order until November 30, 2008.

First let me tell you about them.
Each and every slipper or coaster is made from felt. I have in stock white, red and confetti white. They are two layers of felt, the top being embroidered with a center cutout to accommodate a stem glass. The base is a full circle. These glass slippers* can be made for any occasion where there will be more than one person using the same stemware. The slipper will accommodate any stemware that is no larger than 2 ½” in diameter. They will not fit a red wine bowl or a margarita glass. I am working on an enlarged design, just don’t have it down pat as of yet. However they fit most white wine, Champaign or water goblets. If you are not sure just measure the base of the glasses you have. Pictured is a Libby 6oz.

How I found this great hostess idea.
I originally had a paper doily type from a Charity BUNCO party where there were over 300 women present. In this case each Lady was given a wine glass and a slipper at the door. She then put her name on it and then was able to fill it with whatever beverage she wanted all day long. We took out glass home with us as well. So of course the group responsible did not have that clean up. You may use this idea at your next Charity Ball.

Set 2, a mixed color group of Blank coasters for the guest to name their glass using any of the gel or permanent ink pens.Perfect for a large gathering as each guest will have a choice of color to wear for the duration.
