Hello, I’m Polly.
I’m hand made to a design which evolved from the traditional sock monkey, because socks don't come in this beautiful Liberty cotton jersey. My friendly hand-stitched face is unique and contains felt, cotton, and polyester fleece. I’m softly stuffed with polyester and I'm about 49cm (19")tall. I’m bendy, cuddly, funloving and completely safe for babies, children and anyone who never quite grew up. I can be washed by hand but please be gentle!
I’ll be safely packed with my personal hand drawn name tag* in a padded envelope and sent as quickly as possible.

This monkey face bag in shocking pink 100% cotton needlecord velvet reverses to a stunning tropical Alexander Henry print. Unique and original appliqué is Tana Lawn and retro recycled cottons with buttons from granny's collection. Approximate measurements 8" x 9" with 12" handles. Not recommended for under threes because of buttons. Careful hand wash in cool water.

There are only a few of Syd's relations already out and about in the world and only a few yet to be cut out, since we have sadly been unable to find any more of this great fabric - it's not Liberty, and isn't quite as stretchy so Syd and his family are a little smaller than the other monkeys, about 46 cm (18") tall. They make up for this in sheer cheek. Unique, friendly hand-stitched face in cotton, polyester fleece, felt. Softly stuffed with polyester filling, Syd is bendy, cuddly, funloving and completely safe for babies, children and anyone who never quite grew up.

Yet it has to be admitted that Liberty cars fabric makes these pram creatures ideal for the new man child in your life... Plump and playful kittens for cuddling or throwing out of the pram. (tip for new parents: attach via the handy loop label to foil this plan). Flippy paws and ears and varied textures chosen to fascinate little fingers. Hand made using Liberty Tana Lawn and Liberty babycord. Friendly hand-stitched faces are unique and may contain felt, cotton,and polyester fleece. Tails are felted pure wool. Stuffing is carded lambswool or polyester. Approx 15cm (6")long.

Hand drawn monkeys (plain, stripy, demure, mischievous, mostly dotty) at play in a colourful collaged world. Each card is completely unique. Perfect for children and anyone dotty about monkeys (send one with your Dotty Monkey gift!)

Please note - in reality colours are much more vibrant than these scans appear on our screen - for instance the pink is hot pink, not pale pink!

The cards are good quality coloured cardstock measuring 4 1/4" x 6" (11 x 15 cm) and come together with a white envelope in a clear sleeve. The back of each card is initialled by the artist, Emily. The inside is blank for your own message. If you have a preferred card colour (red, blue, black, baby pink, green) please mention this in the comments section of your order.

Child's apron in Alexander Henry retro cotton cowboy prints with hippo print lining (an Ikea fabric), deep pockets, grosgrain ribbon ties and hanging loop. Approximate measurements (to fit three to seven year old) length 21" (53.5 cm) width at waist 15.5" (39.5 cm), ties at waist (x 2) 23" (58.5 cm). Not suitable for under threes because of long ribbons. (However this one was photographed on a little boy 20 months old - the broom was probably more of a health hazard!)

We have fabric for two of these at the moment - ribbon ties may be a different colour however - red gingham or navy grosgrain.
