Beautiful Carnelian gemstone nuggets(approx.12x8mm) and shiny copper seemed to be a natural combination of materials to create this lovely, handmade necklace! The chain is a series of hand formed "figure 8" links that have been hammered flat and finished with a hook and eye clasp. 2 carnelian stones break up the length of chain anad add visual interest and warmth to the piece. The focal pendant is a wire wrapped cage holding a third Carnelian nugget. It attaches to the chain with a large jumpring. The total length of this necklace is 21.5" (54.6cm) from end to end including the clasp. The pendant is 1.75" (4.5cm) long from the top of the bail. This is a unique piece and will never be duplicated.

A carved Buddha head bead in a warm caramel color becomes the focal pendant of this all handmade, one of a kind necklace. He hangs securely from a brass triangular bail with a wrapped loop and is flanked on either side with Carnelian beads. These same Carnelian beads are featured throughout this piece along with Czech topaz and matte blue glass beads. All the bead links and the teardrop connectors were formed by hand using 18 gauge, non tarnish wire. I made a simple hook and eye clasp to finish the piece. "Spring Pleasures" is an all handcrafted piece. All metal parts have been created using non tarnish silver artistic wire (20 gauge). Neutral,but not boring, this triple strand necklace has glass pearls in taupe and champagne. Using two sizes of beads, I alternated the colors and bead arrangements on each strand for some subtle interest. Each strand is carefully strung on brass beading wire using double crimps for security. I also used wire guards,spacer bars, and crimp covers. A simple hook and eye clasp finishes the piece nicely. Strand lengths are from 18" to 21" NOT including the clasp.

The earrings that match this necklace also have the same pearls and small gold beads. They are shown here on fishhook ear wires and are secured with neatly wrapped loops. They are very close to 2" long including the ear wire.
