A mobile with nine modular origami stars in red, blue, yellow, green, purple and pink - all the bright colors that a baby likes to watch. The stars are tied to four galvanized metal wires with thin fishing line and appear to float in the air when the stars spin freely around each other without touching.

This kind of star is called Mennorode and is made up of twelve separate pieces of paper, intricately folded and joined together to form this beautiful 6-pointed star.

The meticulously handfolded stars measure 60 mm across, are dipped in paraffin wax and glittered with ultra fine diamond dust, which makes them shimmer in the light. Unfortunately the sparkling effect doesn´t show very well in the pictures.

Mobile´s overall height is circa 69 cm (appx. 27") including the galvanized spiral hook, from which the mobile is suspended.

This listing is for an amazing piece of paper art and my personal favourite among my stars:
One (1) meticulously handfolded three-dimensional 16-pointed Moravian star that measures an impressing 200 mm (appx. 7.9") across. It's a truly beautiful star to hang in your window - alone or in a cluster of three or more.

The star is folded from four strips of bright white paper. The finished star is dipped in paraffin wax for a hard coating and glittered with ultrafine diamond dust for a luxurious shimmer.

A tiny hole is punched through the tip of one point to enable attachment of almost invisible fishing line. During check-out kindly indicate what length you need this line to be. A spiral hook, handmade of galvanized wire, is attached for easy hanging.

Traditionally Moravian stars were used outdoors. Hence the wax, which makes them resistant to rain and snow. Handled with due care they're sturdy enough to last as e.g. Christmas ornaments for a lifetime or two.

This star mobile is made of stars made from four strips of paper in pale yellow, green, red and pale blue and makes the perfect welcome to the world gift for a beautiful baby.

The 3 three-dimensional 16-pointed Moravian stars - two 65 mm [2.6"] and one 90 mm [3.5"] acrosss, symbolizing mum, dad and baby - are tied to two brass wire arcs with thin fishing line. The arcs, and the hook for hanging, are then tied to each other with thin fishing line, which makes the stars spin freely around each other without touching.

The stars are dipped in paraffin wax and glittered with ultra fine diamond dust, which makes them shimmer in the light. Unfortunately this doesn´t show very well in the pictures. For that extra bling acrylic beads and prisms are added to the mobile.

This Moravian star mobile with a twist is called "Comet's Tail" and is made of:

- 1,778 seed beads

- 23 round glass beads (12 brass colored + 11 red ones)

- a metal hoop, which measures appx. 15.5 cm across

- a real drop-shaped crystal prism

GRANNY GOES HIP - Crocheted Bracelet Made in Finland

I was inspired by the traditional "granny blankets" that you make from crocheted squares but I wanted the final product to feel a bit more funky and up-to-date and this is what I came up with.

Yarn: 100% mercerized high-quality cotton yarn
Measurements: Tight fit on a 16 cm (6.3") wrist. Appx. 5 cm (2") wide. The bracelet can be worn by someone with a slightly wider wrist too, as the crochet makes it quite stretchy.

The bracelet comes packed in a plastic bag sealed with the Stjärnkraft label.

Machine wash: Warm (40 degrees Celsius)
Dry clean: Any solvent except trichloethylene.
Do not bleach.
Do not tumble dry.

Other color combinations available upon request. Custom-orders are welcome!

The 4 three-dimensional 16-pointed Moravian stars - two 65 mm [2.6"] and two 90 mm [3.5"] across - are tied to three nickel silver wire arcs with thin fishing line. The arcs, and the spiral hook for hanging, are then tied to each other with thin fishing line, which makes the stars spin freely around each other without touching.

The stars are dipped in paraffin wax which makes the surface almost satinlike, which unfortunately doesn´t show very well in the pictures. Drop-shaped acrylic prisms and shiny, pale blue beads are added for that extra "bling".

Mobile´s overall height from the topmost arc to the lowest point of the bottommost prism is 45 cm (appx. 17.7").

STELLAE BOREALES 21 Made in Finland - Shimmering Hanging Moravian Star Mobile 72 cm

This Moravian star mobile is made from paper stars made of pale pink, dark pink, cerise and shades of blue.

The ten three-dimensional 16-pointed Moravian stars (six 43 mm, one 65 mm and two 90 mm acrosss) are tied to each other and finally to three brass wire arcs with thin fishing line and appear to float in the air.

The stars have all been dipped in paraffin wax and glittered with ultrafine diamond dust, which makes them shimmer in the light. Unfortunately this doesn´t show very well in the pictures.

The mobile is suspended from a brass spiral hook for hanging. Mobile´s overall height from top of hook to the lowest point of the bottommost star is circa 72 cm (appx. 28.3").
