This hat was designed around the concept of those socks, but with an added elegant touch that I love so much! This hat is great for working around the yard at home, or pair it with your favourite jean jacket and wear it out antiquing, or out for a cup of coffee in the local cafe.

Now included in pattern: sizing chart and conversion for ages 1 to adult! Make a matching set for both you and your child!

A friend of mine asked if I could make her a hat that she could wear in the Spring when the weather was still a bit cold, but a hat that still had a nice fresh Spring feel to it. This is what I came up with… a nice simple hat with a beautiful full flower on the side. This is something you could wear around the yard cleaning up, on a hike to get pussy willows, or even off to the mall. It’s made with two stands of any worsted weight yarn (medium or #4) and it was a lot of fun trying to decide what colour combinations to use! Included in the pattern is the option of adding a nice decorative edge (as on the brown hat) or just leaving a nice straight edge.

I named this Victorian looking neckwarmer, Belmont, before I realized that Belmont means "beautiful mountain". How perfect! The peaks of this neckwarmer do in fact remind me of a row of mountains.

I would consider this pattern to be more of a neck piece than a "full blown" neckwarmer since it is made to be left open at the bottom. I think this gives it a more chocker/necklace look. It may not keep you as warm as some of my other neckwarmers, but "darn-it", you'll look good!

I was brought up in a family of woods workers and the smell of a chainsaw, wood chips and woolen lumber Jack socks drying on the wood stove brings back a flood of childhood memories. Hence the creation of the Lumber Jillian Patterns, or Jillian for short, a touch of country, classic comfort and of course that added touch of feminism that I love so much.

The series, of course, is based on the simple, classic Lumber Jack socks. You know, those great grey, white and one tiny strip of red socks? This is real casual, classic look for walking in the woods, or working in your yard. Pair them with your favourite jean jacket and all you will need is the chainsaw... or a lumber man... your choice!

This is a listing for ANY Three Mitten Patterns designed by me, Bella McBride!

If you made a pair of my mittens last year and you loved them and want to make some more, this is a great way to save and buy some new designs! Choose any three mitten patterns (leave a message in Note to Seller which 3 you want) and I will send them right out to you.

I love mittens and just couldn’t stop at one pair, so I came up with five different mitten patterns. The Canadian North are more of a dress up pair of mittens, the East Coast are user friendly with that great flap, the Snowflake mittens are the perfect mittens to wear while cutting down your Christmas tree and the Winding Roads are a great transitional mitten to wear with a t-shirt and jeans or under a winter coat for really cold days and finally the Winter's Eve Mittens... well they speak for themselves!

The best of two worlds; elegance and funky, these arm warmers can give you two very different looks. The first look of pulling them up and wearing them as long gloves gives a real graceful, elegant look. Sunset Hat AND Purse Crochet PATTERNS in PDF Format

I designed this set in the dark winter months when there seems to be very little sun, so I added my own sunset with the pink band and flower! I really love the pink and grey, but any colour combination would be lovely! Let your imagination run wild! The pattern is so simple, in fact, you could have a purse and hat to match any outfit!

Skill: EASY! Pattern includes easy to follow instructions with lots, and lots of pictures, step by step instructions on how to crochet the flower and a tutorial on felting techniques.

Materials Needed: 5.5 mm (US I/9) crochet hook, any worsted weight 100% wool or yarn suitable for felting
Measurements: Purse - Approx. 9 inches by 10 inches (23-25 cm)
Hat - Depending on the length of felting time, this hat should fit all adult heads between 22-24 inches (56-60 cm)
