"Lone Tree" is a signed fine art 8" x 8" photograph. The day was windy and every leaf had long blown off this tree. The snow and the ice pared down the elements of color in this landscape and I pared them down further. I was hoping to give the tree a kind of pen-and-ink quality with a little wash of color. The photo has a touch of sepia, especially in the grass and the river behind the tree.
