The Amazing Screaming Maurice - a my dead little pony theremin steampunk zombie creature

$95.00
introducing Maurice. when he gave his body to science i don't think this is quite what he expected. poor my dead little phony resurrected as a musical marvel.

his body was opened up and augmented with a pseudo Theremin. (the odd instrument which makes eldritch noises when you wave at it) pseudo because in this case the Theremin is control by light rather than radio waves but the sound and method of playing is much the same. you wave your hand in front of his eye (after first flipping the switch on his front hoof) and spooky sounds emerge. with a little practice you can play a tune simply by moving your hand up and down.

the evolution from my dead little pony to golden steampunk/zombie/musical instrument was not an easy process for Maurice and some of his scars are still fresh. the jack in his flank looks particularly raw but as it enables you to plug in headphones, speakers or an amp i think he would agree with me that it was worth it.

he does not do well in bright sunlight, the early evening is his favorite time, his squeal will become too high to be audible if the light is too bright. but in the twighlight, under artificial light or wearing shades he will sing for you endlessly.

well i say endlessly but you might at some point need to change his batteries and fortunately a flap of loose skin on his belly allows you to do this without too much blood loss.

invite Maurice into your house and be the envy of all, his sweet song, sweet nature and retched blood stained appearance will melt your heart. probably.

Cthulhu the solar powered emo robot - custom order

$80.00
Cthulhu is a scary wee beasty. when i started making him he seemed quite cheerful but slowly his personality revealed itself and left me a little scared...

he is a solar powered bugbot, he has a small vibrating motor attached to a solar engine and solar cell. he soaks up light till he has enough stored up in his capacitor to run a short burst from the motor. when this happens he wobbles ominously on his many spindly legs.

in bright sunshine he leaps about all over the place and will dive floorward unless he is placed on some kind of lipped tray.

under indoor lighting his true evil is revealed... he stores up energy more slowly and when you least expect it off he wiggles making you jump out of your skin.

spooky little bugger!

edit: the original Cthulhu just sold but another can be born if you so desire. as he'll be custom made i'll need about two weeks from the time of your order. you can specify colours and suggest bits and bobs to make him the perfect beasty for you.

in this incarnation i will adjusted the wiggle so that he's not as bouncy as before so will now stay put and wave his arms in a more subtle way rather that try to leap to his doom as with older models. he is now desk safe :)
