This scarf was designed to keep your neck warm without the worry of the scarf becoming loose. One end slips through the little sleeve on the other side holding it snug until you move it. I like it worn with the edge folded over at the neck for extra warmth. This type of scarf is great for any out door activity. I created this pattern with a more advanced knitter in mind, however I am always willing to help with any questions you might have. The scarf is made in one piece so there is no sewing, just a few ends to finish it off. It requires a sport weight yarn or # 3 yarn. It does work up quickly and is fun to knit.

This is a fancy button neck scarf with out the hassle of making buttonholes. I created this pattern using a chunky weight yarn which I show in 2 different colors, a rag blue and a medium sea green. I Knit it using acrylic or a lovely 100% wool yarn. The yellow one is done in knitting worsted weight. You can use either weight they both look great. The lace pattern makes a perfect buttonhole so you only need to sew on the 2 buttons and your set to go. Wear it to the side or in front, it's up to your style. It is an easy pattern to follow and knits up quickly. Makes a great gift or a special something for yourself.

This is a great scarf to knit and wear as it has a sleeve for one end to slide through. This holds the scarf in place around your neck without slipping. The pattern is easy to remember after you have knitted a few rows. I have included charts to mark off the rows as you knit. This makes it easy to know exactly where to begin again when you pick up your work the next time.

I created this pattern using 2 different types of the same medium weight yarn. The blue is of 100% merino wool while the raspberry is an acrylic. The difference in the yarns give a wide variety of uses. Acrylics need little care and if the scarf is to be washed a great deal, as for children's wear, is a great choice. I like the wool effect but they need to be hand washed. This pattern is great for both children and adults. Easy to make and great to give as gifts. You can make the scarf any length. The width is 5". There are no button holes to worry about making. The 3/4" buttons just fit through the lace making their own button hole.

The instructions are easy to follow.

Pictures to help show steps as you knit.

If you would like to try a neat looking pattern and end up with a great looking scarf This is it. It is easy to knit. As long as you can knit and purl your set to go and I am here to help if you need me. I show the scarf knit with 2 different yarns. The apple green is a Red Heart cotton blend while the linen is a Red Heart TLC acrylic. They are both a medium weight knitting worsted #4 yarn. I have also made this scarf from 100% wool. It takes a small amount of yarn so it is great for using left overs. You can make stripe ones by knitting the pattern for 3 0r 4 inches then changing colors. These make great gifts.

This is a nice warm and sharp looking sweater for your dog. If you can make cables this is an easy pattern. It is quick to make and has a great fit to it. It is knitted using a medium weight knitting worsted yarn. I use acrylic for easy care. There are 2 sizes included, showing the green in size M and the yellow in size L. They have a 4" collar that can be worn either folded or unfolded to keep your dog's ears warm. The belly is a v style to give ease in the chest area.

This scarf has a short version which has 4 small buttons to close neatly at the neck and a longer version that forms a v at the neck with 2 larger buttons. This is a nice and easy fancy cowl without button holes. I designed this using a chunky yarn so you can make it in little time. It measures 25" long and 4 1/2" wide. I designed this scarf using 100% wool yarn for warmth, but any medium weight yarn works great. It is easy and fun to knit as you see the leaves being created as you go. It works up quickly as you gain the desire to finish a leaf and start another. The scarf is 5" wide by 24.5" long. You can easily make the scarf longer for a plus size just by adding another leaf. Sew 2 buttons of your choice at the side of the scarf and simply slip them through the holes made at the sides of the widest part of the last leaf. Pattern shown in 3 different colors that I have knitted.

Baby Sweater and Bonnet Knit PDF pattern

This is an easy to sweater and bonnet set to make for your baby. The sweater is knit from the neck down. The sweater and hat fasten with ribbon so there are no button holes to make. The bottom of the sweater has an easy to make fancy edge. If you are an advanced knitter the set can be made in a week end, if you are an advanced beginner probably a week. The size can be adjusted by using a size smaller needle. I used a 10 1/2 round needle until I reached the first arm then I worked with a 9 inch # 10 1/2 straight needle. It will fit a 6 month old and beyond as it has raglan type sleeves that help the sweater to fit many size babies. This will make a wonderful gift for any new mother.

Knit DOG HOODIE PATTERN size sm and med

This is a design I came up with to keep the little dogs very warm this winter. It has a hood that can be worn up or down. My little doxie hated to have her ears in the wind. Great to prevent this. Easy to put on, warm and cozy to wear. I knit this using double yarn for warmth. The aran color small is shown with a medium blue I am knitting. There is a bold cable from hood to bottom of sweater.

I first designed this pattern over 40 yrs ago when I needed a project that would take time and I would enjoy knitting it. I like a challenge.
The sweater is knitted with medium weight knitting worsted #4 yarn. The needles are what change the sizes so it can be knit to fit just about anyone. Sizes included are small, medium and large. The cables are braided together as you knit. They are knit around the bottom of the body and sleeves and continue up both sides. The pattern is reversed for the fronts. I have included several pictures to show the details along with suggestions to make for successful knitting. The sweater has 3/4 sleeves and is open down the front. It makes a great jacket to wear just about anytime of the year. They make wonderful gifts, if you can part with it.

Easy to knit shrug using #4 medium weight knitting worsted yarn. This is a great pattern if you want to start an easy lace item. It is knit in 2 pieces so it can be adjusted for the petite as well as for the plus size, by going up or down a size needle and by adding or subtracting to the length of each piece. The pattern is written for a 34 -38 inch bust. Also can be used to knit a shrug for a child or baby if you use fingering or baby yarn.

These are great to knit for someone in a nursing home or for someone to wear with a sleeveless dress for an evening out.

Here is a lace pattern I created that is easy to knit and great to wear. I knit this using medium weight yarn. You can use any knitting worsted yarn acrylic or wool. It will give a little challenge to an advance beginner but is a great way to work into lace work. Make them for gifts for the coming holidays.
