ANCIENT SAYAGATA Cuff Bead Woven Bracelet. Black and White beauty. One of a kind.

A spectacular wide cuff bracelet inspired by the ancient Sayagata pattern. This pattern originally came from China to Japan in the 16th century. It is formed by repeating interlocking manji or Buddhist crosses forming a labyrinth type pattern.
I first roughly sketched my interpretation, them created the petoye stitch grid pattern. The last picture gives you a peak of my sketches.
All my Peyote stitch cuffs are my own patterns, and I do not use any computerized pattern making program.

All I can say is that this was a deceivingly simple looking pattern that took me more time I expected patterning it and then stitching it together!
