This little chickadee is Ollie. Ollie 12" tall from ear to toe (14" including balloon). She has been made of muslin, stuffed with fiberfill & hand-painted & sanded many times giving her such a lovely, aged patina. Ollie has been sealed with a combination of sealers so that she can be lightly dusted after display. Her lower torso is weighted allowing her to sit nicely. Ollie's left arm is button jointed, allowing her to hold her sweet 3" teddy. Her neck is supported with wire armature.

Ollie has been painted with a variety of media. Her muzzle has been attached separately giving her the perfect pug profile. Her ears have been attached separately as well. Ollie's tiny paws have been hand-sculpted by hand. She wears brown painted gloves & brown boots with tan socks & light tan laces.

Ollie's apron dress has been constructed from the cutest 100% cotton print in shades of red, cream & pink. Her blouse has been constructed from white muslin. It features hand-gathered sleeves, stitching along the back & neckline and tiny buttons down the front. Ollie's hem features hand-stitching.

Little girls love balloons & this little one is no exception. Ollie's balloon has been made from muslin, painted, sanded & aged. It is attached to rusty wire which was then wrapped around Ollie's arm. The wire extends adding gentle support & allowing Ollie's balloon to remain upright.

Ollie's little buddy is constructed of muslin. He has been hand-painted, sanded & aged & sealed.

Like all my art dolls, Ollie is an original, one of a kind & will not be reproduced. She comes signed, numbered & dated & will arrive with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Ollie will be shipped via Fed Ex. Insurance will be provided.

Florence and Tink, Primitive Folk Art Easter Bunnies

Let me introduce you to Florence & Tink! They’re absolutely guaranteed to fill your home with lots of smiles. (And hopefully, not too much mayhem!)

Florence & Tink have been made of muslin & stuffed with fiberfill. Florence stands freely as her base is rag-stuffed & bean filled. Tink resides in a super cute Easter egg purse which is not removable. Tink, however, is removable & can be displayed on his own.

So much handwork went into the construction of these dolls! I admit, most of it, you can’t see, as so much of the construction requires hand-stitching. But–each bunny has hand-quilted ears & Florence’s wee fingers have been needle-sculpted as well.

Each doll has been painted & sanded a couple of times giving them lovely, deeply aged patinas. Each doll, as well as the egg purse, has been sealed with matte varnish enhanced with a protective UV filter.

Florence’s clothes have been made from taupe osnaburg & 100% cotton prints. There is hand-stitching around the sleeves, neckline, back & hem. Florence’s blouse features decorative stitching with blue embroidery thread that matches perfectly her egg purse. The handle on this purse is braided embroidery thread. Tucked inside it, is a tiny bed of muslin grass!

Florence measures a little over 12″ tall. Tink is a petite 4″. They will arrive signed, numbered & dated & with a certificate of authenticity. This is doll #92.

Who says art has to stay on a wall or on a shelf? I’m so excited to be able to offer you my very first pieces of wearable art. If you’re a Little Red Riding Hood fan I’m sure you’d be super happy to wear Little Red on your lapel, purse or backpack.

This brooch is an OOAK (original, one of a kind) piece of artwork. It has been made of muslin, stuffed with fiberfill & hand-painted, sanded & stained for a lovely, aged patina. It was then sealed with matte sealer with UV filter to ensure longevity, although you may want to take caution in wet weather. A brooch back has been carefully & securely sewn to Little Red with embroidery thread. Please be careful when attaching & removing as this pin is delicate.

Little Red comes with her very own paper mache keepsake box which has been primed, painted red, crackled & aged.

I’ve initialed the brooch & signed & dated the bottom of the keepsake box as well.

Box measures 3″ x 2″ x 1.5″. Little Red is a tad over 2.5″ & is a little more than 1″ wide.

This brooch is an OOAK (original, one of a kind) piece of artwork. It has been made of muslin, stuffed with fiberfill & hand-painted, sanded & stained for a lovely, aged patina. It was then sealed with matte sealer with UV filter to ensure longevity, although you may want to take caution in wet weather. A brooch back has been carefully & securely sewn to Big Bad Wolf with embroidery thread. Please be careful when attaching & removing as this pin is delicate.

This guy comes with his very own paper mache keepsake box which has been primed, painted tan, crackled & aged.
