You don't have to be over 40, or have expensive furniture to protect to enjoy this set of 6 Merino Wool Coasters. They are handmade using the wet felting process - there is no knitting involved. Perfect for a big mug of hot goodness or a bowl of soup. Maybe a Hot Toddy?

These coasters have a bold, modern design using two shades of purple merino wool.
Care is easy - just wash gently by hand using mild soap and lukewarm water - lay flat to dry.

Specs: Each coaster is approx. 4 1/4" square, 1/8" thick.

Each set of coasters will come to you wrapped in a simple paper wrapper - ready to give as a gift or just for you.

This vessel was made using the wet felting process- no knitting or sewing involved!

All of the wool used is from small western Mass. farms. I even know the name of the chocolate brown sheep - "Bruno"!

The combination of the rich brown and the raspberry of the hand dyed Romney wool accents is very warm and inviting. And it feels great in your hands!

This vessel stands at 6" tall, it's approx. 5" wide and the mouth is 3".

You can use this vessel to hold lightweight objects such as dried flowers, knitting needles, pencils, chopsticks or just let it be an art object in your home.

Open Mouth Felt Vessel

The open mouthed vessel was made using the wet felting method - no knitting or sewing involved.

This is one of my favorite vessels that I've made in the past few months. It feels very good in the palms of your hands and has a distinct character.
It could be used for any number of things - keys, wrapped candy, your favorite collection of smooth river stones or antique keys...the list goes on and on.

The main color of the 100 % merino wool is a warm light brown with black lining the inside of the opening and heather grey lips on the back.

It stands about 6 1/2" tall, 4 1/2 " wide and 7" long.

To care for your vessel:
If it becomes misshapen or squished and you cannot reshape it by hand - Briefly soak in warm water. Get rid of excess water by rolling in a dry towel - do not ring. Reshape and air dry.

Felt Vessel with Lip

This felt vessel was made with the wet felting method - no knitting or sewing involved.

The sharp kelly green color of this 100% merino wool vessel is very eye catching.
It has one wide wing on the side that gives it some added interest.

4 1/2" tall, 5 1/2" wide and the opening is 2" wide.

Holding this vessel in your hands is very satisfying. You could display this on it's own or choose to hold dried flowers, pencils etc. The possibilities are endless.

To reshape a squished felt vessel:
Submerge in warm water
Roll in a dry towel to get rid of excess water - do not wring out water
Reshape and air dry

You could use this for your business cards, ear buds, a love note, credit cards or anything else!

I used a combination of red and orange merino wool. During the felting process, the colors blend a little, which is why there is a slightly heathered effect.

This envelope is very soft and feels so good in your hands - yet it's very durable and useful. It's an excellent gift for someone - or yourself.

It measures approximately 5" wide x 4" tall.

To care for your felt envelope:
If cleaning is needed, wash gently by hand in warm water and mild soap. Roll in a dry towel to get rid of excess water and reshape if necessary. Let air dry.

Large Wet Felted Vessel

This large vessel was made with Merino Wool using the wet felting method. No knitting or sewing is involved in this process.

This thing is big! It will make a statement in your home or studio or wherever it might go!
9" tall x 10" wide. The mouth is approx. 4" wide. It is mostly black with a swath of warm copper at the base. Have you held a Merino Vessel in your hands? It is soft and superb.

The best detail of my felted vessel is the group of caves created on the surface. Like something that grew at the bottom of the sea or maybe they are craters growing into volcanoes.

Felt Wall Art - Patches

I combined two handmade felt pieces to make this paneled wall hanging.

I make all of my wall hangings using the wet felting method.

Wool locks are featured in this piece - I love the way they retain their curl and shape. It gives the piece much more dimension in comparison to other simply flat felt pieces.

This piece measures approximately 7 1/2" x 5 1/2".

Pale blue and smokey shades of grey are the dominant background colors. The stitched on panels have background shades of purple and grey and of course the shocking pink locks!
The embroidery thread is an avocado green.

This piece is hung from a wooden dowel that has been attached to the back. This way you can still see and appreciate the naturally uneven edges.

This piece has a primitive feeling. The overall shape is raw and organic.

Deep blue is the dominant background color with some black horizontal streaks. The locks are shades of peach and aqua.

Felt Vessel - Merino Wool and Silk

This vessel has been wet felted - no knitting or sewing involved!
I used gorgeous black merino wool as the base and added some silk and blue merino/tencel blend to give it a little class and shine.

The shape of this vessel is not round, but flat or oblong, It is a sturdy vessel that will hold it's shape. You could use it to hold lighter objects like dried flowers, pens, chopsticks etc.

It stands 5 1/2" tall and is about 5 1/2" wide.

You will love the way this feels in the palms of your hands!

To care for your felt vessel:

If it gets mashed or otherwise misshapen and it will not reshape by hand - Submerge in warm water, roll in a dry towel to get rid of excess water and reshape. Let air dry.
