This is a large skein of 2ply yarn,hand spun on my louet wheel. Wound from the spool to my knitty noddy it measures just over 200 yds weighing 5.4oz. It is slightly larger diameter than the knitting worsted that I tied the skein with and is good to use in felting projects. But if you don't like felting, just be sure to hand wash your project in cool to luke warm water and rinse in the same temperature water, block on a towel and air dry.
I do have more of this great kelly green wool as well as some that I have combined with navy and other with a mint green.(sooo much yet to list and such a slow typist) Just ask if you would like to see a certain color, if I don't have it yet, I am spending time each day spinning as well as searching for more lovely colors to play with.

Sea foam-a nice blend of yellows and blues leading to the formation of some suttle greenish tones, I hoping that your monitors and my pictures allow the you to see the real colors in this yarn. Averaging 9-10 wpi this should knit as a worsted weight but I recommend always checking your gauge if you need an exact size.
This skein measures 118yds and weighs 3.2oz. I think I have another skein from the same roving in my craft show totes if you need a larger amount.

This deep pink was carded with blue, and when spun, turned into a heathery pink yarn with bluish accents. This is a mystery wool (from an unknown breed of sheep). It’s a little coarser than most of my yarns, so not next to the skin soft, but quite durable for more rugged projects. I’ve been thinking of knitting it into a nice felted hat.

This skein averages 12WPI, measures 232yds (212m) long and weighs 4.4oz (130g).

Each of the six brilliant colors in this yarn was kettle dyed separately and combined during plying, with no knots and only a short overlap of colors to facilitate the change.
This yarn was inspired by a question I received from another Etsy seller, thank you for asking if this was possible.

I rainbow dyed this soft merino wool top using the three warm primary colors of red, blue, and yellow. In the process they combined to form splashes of secondary colors,some pastels and deeper tones, while leaving some areas of natural white.

This batch weighs 9.2oz(260g). This is a generous amount of top for a project or two, when I loosely coiled it the diameter was roughly 18". Great to spin into a super soft yarn or use for needle or wet felting.

A soft yet bright shaded yarn it is just slightly lighter in shade than the red top on my coca-cola bottle. I dyed the top before spinning in a kettle of wash fast acid dye, which resulted in variations which give depth to the overall yarn. I woodburned this scene on a basswood slab depicting an old waterwheel mill surrounded by cattails and foliage. The scene is framed by a burned basket weave pattern giving the whole thing a postage stamp appearance to me. I then put many coats of finish on ending with a satin polyurathane.

I painted the sides of this wooden sled with a glaze of white, allowing the wood-grain to show through, and added kisses and peppermints. The runners are candycane striped with a golden edge. In real life this yarn is a brilliant violet/purple, the darker shades being more of a match for grape jelly. The wool/mohair top reminded me so much of the cute chipmunks playing in our woods this last summer that I had to give this yarn a name. After spinning a spool of that I decided to ply it with some pure mohair that I have. The result is a multicolored yarn, including rust, black and white that has a nice soft halo (fuzziness) thanks to the mohair.

They average 7-8 WPI and I am tempted to knit them myself into a nice cozy hat and scarf, but my time crunch is your gain. These two skeins were handspun from roving that I kettle dyed a unique shade of greenish blue, almost a pale teal shade. The first is shades of just the blue/green plied together. This skein was spun from one ply of confetti- a white wool with threads of pink, blue, and yellow silk and the second ply was alternating "primrose," "turquoise," "cerise," and pink. There are about six repeats in this skein.
Although it is mostly wool, I would not recommend this for felting, since I have found the confetti does not felt well.

This skein was spun from one ply of confetti- a white wool with threads of pink, blue, and yellow silk and the second ply was alternating "primrose," "turquoise," "cerise," and pink. There are about eight repeats in this skein.
Although it is mostly wool, I would not recommend this for felting, since I have found the confetti does not felt well.

I spun this skein thick and thin, a bulky variation to give your project that homespun texture. It is one strand of navy blue plyed with a single blend of white and gray merino.
Weighing 2.8 oz this 72 yds would make a small project or an accent to a larger one. I reccommend 10-15 US size knitting needles but that would depend on your pattern.

Jacob sheep are the horned sheep that can produce white, gray, brown and black wool all in one fleece. This one was commercially carded into a blended brown with lighter highlights. I spun and plyed it into an even yarn of aproximately 8wpi.
Jacob wool felts great and is a dream to knit or crochet. Just remember to hand wash your project if you don't want to felt it. This skein is 64 yds long and weighs 1.6oz.

This is a small skein spun from one ply of northern lights and one of agate both a colonial blend from Hanks in the Hood. I have also listed solid skeins of each of these colors and this would coordinate with both.
The colonial blends are great felters,sometimes only taking one cycle. This is a soft yarn just waiting to be included in your special project. The 48 yds weighs 1.6oz and is a heavy worsted or light bulky.

The red in this yarn is from the same wool as the red in my candy cane striped yarn. I plied it with a silvery trilobal polyester thread to form a festive wavy yarn. Great for that smaller project or to add an accent to a couple of larger ones. The wool in this yarn will felt, leaving the polyester to make little loops throughout your piece.
This skein averages 8 WPI, weighs 1.2 oz (40g) and is 40 yards(~37meters) long.
The fifth picture is way light from my flash reflection but does show the texture of the yarn better. On my monitor the 3rd picture is closest to the actual red. Any questions please ask.

First I hand (painted) dyed a soft wool top, using a random placement of rainbow colors of acid dye. I then had the fun of spinning this into a fine single, watching as the fibers overlapped and joined to form even more variances of color. To keep these colors more vibrant I plied it with a natural white (spun from the same top.) This yarn is unique since I could never duplicate the exact placement of the colors. I am listing a similar yarn,as shown on the nitty-noddy in the fifth picture,(this yarn is still on the spool) but not exactly like this one. My niddy-noddy and spool are not included in this listing.
This yarn averages 10 WPI, visually the same diameter of the knitting worsted used to tie the skein. It weighs 5.2 oz(150g) and measures 190yds(~174meters) on my nitty noddy.

Confetti is a delightful blend of white wool carded with blue,pink and yellow threads of silk. Merlot is a deep wine color of colonial blend wool. The colonial blends are soft and great felters but the confetti did not felt well so I would recommend hand wash, don't felt for this yarn. 75yds long, this skein weighs 2.6oz. and is 8 wpi.
