Beautiful and Elegant and a delight for afternoon tea time. The featured item is a cup and saucer by Homer Laughlin Co. Circa:1957
Trimmed in gold, the set is tastefully subdued by tones of creamy ivory and pale pink that borders a peachy hue. Again the gold is applied in a laurel leaf pattern to accent the pieces.

Footed Tea Cup: 2.75" tall and 3.5" rim opening
Saucer: 5.75"

Very clean and free of scratches or chips. Gold trim and leafing has no scratches and has retained it's luster.
No manufacturing labels, stamps or markings on either item.

Brush Pottery Co. at one time was partnered with McCoy in Ohio until 1925. After which Brush Pottery Co. continued to make wonderful designs and were known for their well made, heavy pottery with beautiful colors. Many Brush cookie jars as with this design, were sculpted by Don Winton of Twin Winton. Distinctive marks are found as "W25 USA" on bottom of jars. Brush Cookie Jars will add character, charm and whimsy to any pottery collection

Beautiful bright colors, no fading and very clean. Very detailed with great definition. Airbrush painting technique and heat glazed, it still retains luster and shine. No cold painting on this jar. There is a small chip in the lid of this jar, found on the bottom right, as seen in the 4th picture. Also found on top of chefs hat is a glaze crack from age. There is some crazing from age, that's to be expected with vintage glazes.

This precious bowl licking bunny is indeed marked with
"W 25 USA" stamped on bottom , a trademark of Brush Pottery designed by Winton. Mark is very faint and hard to see in picture. Will try to get a better shot to show impression.

Brush Pottery Co. made more than one variety of "Smiling Chef Bunny" one is white and the other like the featured listing is gray with cream chefs hat, aqua neck sash, yellow bowl and aqua spoon. Both are large in size.

Who stole the cookie from the Cookie Jar? By the way she's blushing, I think she did but she's so cute, who would care?

American Bisque was know for their well made, heavy pottery with a distinctive wedge shape bottom. ABC jars are an asset to any pottery collection and are sure to stir up memories of grandma's kitchen and warm homemade cookies.

Beautiful bright colors, no fading and very clean. Very detailed with great definition. Airbrush painting technique and heat glazed, it still retains luster and shine. No cold painting on this jar. No cracks,chips or peeling. There is some crazing from age, however that is to be expected when your 60 plus years. Sort of like our wrinkles! (oh Yeah!)

This little sweet bear is indeed marked with "USA" stamped near the base in back, a trademark of American Bisque.

American Bisque made more than one variety of "Bear with Cookie" one has the bib and the other like the featured listing is with a jumper dress and ruffled collar. Details are emphasized on back with buttoned jumper suspenders and bow.

Brush-McCoy Pottery // Bowl // Casserole // Pink with Yellow Flowers

Beautiful Brush-McCoy Pottery Bowl in a soft pastel pink glaze with raised yellow flowers on one side and single yellow flower on the other. Raised rope decoration around the top of bowl. I suspect this was once a covered casserole dish, however when I rescued this treasure it was just as is.

Glaze still retains it's luster with one smudge, near bottom. No chip or cracks other than the glaze cracks from age.

I love the colors on this piece and although it looks rough from age and misuse, this can still be a useful home or garden decoration. It is stamped on bottom "oven proof", however I would not recommend using with food. Although this piece doesn't have the McCoy mark on bottom it does have stamped "USA" another trademark of the Brush McCoy pottery.

I have no history on this bowl and it has been cleaned as good as it will get.

I envision this used as a planter with some herbs or succulents growing inside. Maybe some "hen and chicken"!! Beautiful!

Measures at 8" across top down to 5" at base and stands 3.5" depth is about 3" to the first rim.
