This origianl Beaded Bon Bon pendant features a vintage beaded earring from the 40's as it's centerpiece. It is backed with suede leather. The bail is fashioned from seed beads and the edges are nicely finished with seed beads, as well.

This pendant measures approx **" across.

Your Beaded Bon Bon will come strung on a satin cord necklace and arrive packaged as shown in the last photo. Each box is custom made by me to fit the morsel inside.

Beaded Bon Bons are affordable, high quality, handcrafted jewelry pieces made using vintage bead cluster earrings as well as bead clusters made by me using some of the same classic jewelry-making techniques of the 40's and 50's. Beaded Bon Bons have vintage charm but with a contemporary twist. Beaded Bon Bons listed as "classic" feature an authentic vintage earring - most with lovely, shabby signs of age and patina. If the piece is labeled as "original" then it was made by me using a variety vintage beads.

Here is a nice beaded pendant in a classic color combination of black and silver. There are two vintage cabochons used in this piece - one is an antiqued silver floral and the other is Lucite in shades of green. They are nestled in bezels of gunmetal and black seed beads and are beautifully backed with suede leather. The pendant will come ready-to-wear on a an 18" satin cord necklace.

Turquoise and red are a striking color combination! This necklace features a luminous resin and shell beads surrounded by seed beads in gold, violet, turquoise and red. Escape Pod 2 is a larger version of another beadedbead slider pendant called, what else? "Escape Pod". This upcycled pendant, which measures 1 1/2" across, is a beaded bead which slides freely on the 22" silver chain. "Escape Pod 2" came to be because of a little beading adventure I am presently on. While thrift store shopping one afternoon, I found this fabulous jar of jewelry and, on a whim, bought it. I decided to use that jar of treasures as a creative jumping-off point. The Queen's Medallion is a stunning necklace which was upcycled from several pieces of vintage jewelry. The variety of beads used in this piece is amazing! All (except the seed beads) are vintage and include the following: Czech glass, mother-of-pearl, crystals, metal filigree, bone, wood, plastic, freshwater pearls and others. The bead embroidered medallion measures 3" x 2" including the bail and the three strand necklace features an adjustable clasp and can be between 16" and 19" long.

This upcycled steampunk necklace features a vintage skeleton key wrapped in seed beads and fire-polished crystals. The bead chain was salvaged from an antique rosary and it is 18" long. It can be made longer or shorter upon request.

My husband and I have an acoustic duo and perform in coffee houses and restaurants. We sing a song by singer/songwriter Jen Cohen called "Keeping the Key" and it's one of our favorites. Here is a beautiful steampunk necklace made from a vintage watch case and other upcycled jewelry components. The Victorian style watch face features Roman numerals and antique watch gears. These are enclosed in the engraved gold tone vintage watch case which is suspended from a brass chain. A pair of charms - an ornate lock and skeleton key - hang from the pendant. The length of the necklace (including the watch pendant which measures 2" across) is 21".

Here is a really nice beaded necklace and earrings set! The necklace features a beautifully polished teal stone which has been wrapped in teal and black seed beads. The pendant is reversible - one side features a star motif while the other is plain. The pendant hangs from a string of vintage Czech fire polished crystals, pressed glass leaves and seed beads. It has a silver toggle clasp closure. The dangle earrings have hypo-allergenic earwires.

This beaded pendant is one of a series representing female archetypes. It was exhibited at "Venus Envy 2008" - an art exhibit which showcases artwork of female artists.

"Styrke" (Pronounced "STEER-kah" Norwegian for "strength") represents the Spear Maiden. I chose many of the symbols for Styrke from the goddess Athena. Athena was the Greek Goddess of War known for her physical strength and I chose to use the colors associated with her - red, black and gold. I also love the classic (mostly comic book) imagery of the warrior woman with her armour (which is always more sexy than protective) so I gave her a gladiator's helmet and fishnet stockings to complete her ensemble. The Spear Maiden fights the good fight. She protects home and country and is also the protector of art and artists, land and agriculture. I chose the Norwegian translation of "strength" for her name because it sounds like what it means. The pendant has a ladder stitch bail and is backed in suede leather. You may choose to hang this pendant from any cord or ribbon but it will come with a gold-tone chain.

Cora's crown is a wreath of flowers and she is dressed in vines and leaves of the new spring foliage. She is the bringer of new life representing the cycle of life-death-rebirth.The pendant has a ladder stitch bail and is backed in suede leather. Romantic Upcycled Vintage Bracelet

This sweet little bracelet is fashioned from antiqued, reclaimed brass chain and three vintage bead "berries". Suspended from the chain is a purple glass "pearl" and two green glass beads - all of which were salvaged from vintage jewelry. Inspired by the words of William Shakespeare, this delicate bracelet reminds me of first love and secret meetings "under the greenwood tree". The bracelet will fit up to a 7" wrist.

UNDER THE GREENWOOD TREE is from a line of upcycled jewelry pieces which are made from the vast collection of vintage costume jewelry in my studio.

MOSAIC Beaded Mandala Pendant Necklace

This pretty beaded necklace features a mandala of pearly white shells and purple glass beads. "Mosaic" came to be because of a little beading adventure I am presently on. While thrift store shopping one afternoon, I found this fabulous jar of jewelry and, on a whim, bought it. I decided to use that jar of treasures as a creative jumping-off point. I have been blogging about the journey on my blog: www.artfullivingonthebluff.blogspot.com. All of the beads and components of this piece have been upcycled from roughly 5 different pieces of jewelry which were found in that lovely jar! "Mosaic" is guaranteed to be one-of-a-kind, handcrafted beaded necklace!

The pendant, which measures 2" across, is a brick stitch mandala of seed beads, shell beads and glass beads in white and purple. The necklace has an adjustable chain clasp and can be anywhere from 15" to 18" long.

This romantic bracelet is features a vintage AB glass cabochon set in a brass filigree bezel. Vintage chain and green Czech glass beads make up the rest and it has a new "antiqued" slide clasp.

The title of this bracelet, "She Moved Through the Fair", was inspired by the lyrics of a traditional Celtic folk song. It's a beautiful song but never so lovely as when sang by Megon McDonough - Wow! What a voice!

This one-of-a-kind bead embroidered pendant was made using upcycled, vintage enamel and rhinestone earring components. These, along with two goldtone bead caps, were combined with seed beads of different sizes and colors. The cabochon is held within a peyote stitch bezel. The pendant has a ladder stitch bail, is backed in suede leather and will come ready-to-wear with an 18" satin cord necklace.

I did an entire series of pendants representing female archetypes for "Venus Envy" - an art exhibit which showcases artwork of regional female artists. I had so much fun doing the original series that I have decided to expand on the original 9 by adding a few more. "Golden Girl" is #10.

Here is a a sweet and simple beaded bracelet made with very vintage seed beads in shades of blue set against the pristine white of new seed beads. The color combination reminds me of the Greek island of Santorini, where the white buildings look out over a beautiful blue sea.

This bracelet is made using the bead weaving stitch called spiral rope. In this stitch, loops of beads appear to spiral around a center string. This simple and elegant design can easily be worn with anything.

This bracelet features a lovely agate bead combined with red coral nuggets and a carved red lacquer bead. These are set off by the mossy green stone beads and antiqued brass spacers. When I was making this bracelet, I was thinking about a friend of mine who will be going on holiday to China soon to see the Great Wall. While I know she's not traveling to Tibet, the peaceful combination of green, red and white swirling in the agate bead made me think of ancient hilltop monasteries on lush mountaintops. This is how "Tibetan Holiday" came to be!

Southwestern Beaded Necklace Brooch Combo

The bead embroidered pendant of this necklace is also a brooch which can be worn separately. The brooch is bead embroidery with a leather backing. It attaches to the necklace by sliding the pin through a peyote tube. The brooch itself measures 1 3/4" across. The neck strap is 17" long and the pendant (when the brooch is attached) measures 4 1/2".

This classic Beaded Bon Bon pendant features a vintage beaded earring from the 40's as it's centerpiece. It is backed with suede leather. The bail is fashioned from seed beads and the edges are nicely finished with seed beads, as well.

This necklace features a blown glass eye pendant captured in a beaded peyote bezel of blue and orange. This necklace was my entry for the Etsy Beadweavers Challenge for June - "Humor". I call it "Here's Lookin' at You". Meant to ward off evil spirits, I'm happy to have finally found a use for this fabulous glass eye pendant from Turkey! Trust me, everyone will be lookin' at you when you wear this striking necklace!

NEBULA - Beaded Ocean Jasper Necklace

This beaded necklace features a large ocean jasper pendant suspended from a string of freshwater pearls, jasper beads and rose quartz stone chips. The silver-tone, adjustable clasp means this this necklace can be anywhere from 17" to 19" long. The pendant measures 2 1/8" across and is expertly backed with suede leather.

This pretty necklace was inspired by the beautiful ocean jasper bead focal piece. The swirls of color remind me of those fantastic photos of nebulae which come from the Hubble Space Telescope, so I have named this one "Nebula".

CAPTURED MOMENT Beaded Necklace

This beaded necklace was inspired by the crystal pendant with a small spring of flowers captured inside. I have always considered pressed flowers to be a moment captured in time - meant to preserve something precious so it can be later enjoyed. This pretty pendant came to me second-hand but I loved it immediately! The small spring of pressed flowers is pressed between two clear faceted crystals. A beadwoven peyote bezel was added and it was suspended from a beaded necklace. The necklace is 18" long and is a combination of seed beads, vintage nail head beads, vintage Swarovski crystals, turquoise rounds and it features a dragonfly toggle clasp. Because the crystals are clear I made the peyote bezel open on both sides. Whatever color is worn behind it will show through the pendant making this necklace truly match anything!

This sweet, upcycled necklace reminds me of a lovely day in the garden with the butterflies dancing from flower to flower. The centerpiece is an enameled cloisonne component with rhinestone, faux pearl and AB crystal dangles. It hangs from a simple brass chain. The pendant measures 3 3/4" long and the chain is 18".

QE2 Vintage Upcycled Steampunk Necklace

This upcycled steampunk necklace is fashioned from a Canadian penny in a vintage button "frame". Suspended from that is a vintage antiqued brass leaf and an upcycled flower from a vintage 40's earring. All of the components of this necklace have been recycled from vintage jewelry pieces and found objects including the 18" brass chain. The pendant measures 2 1/2" long.

This necklace was made in honor of the great ship, The RMS Queen Elizabeth II (aka The QE2) taking her final voyage this past year. This beautiful ship was the grand dame of ocean liners. Even though I worked in the cruise industry for 10 years, I never got to sail on her. I did get to visit her when she was in port with the ship I was working on at the time, the TSS Mardi Gras for Carnival Cruise Lines.

Upcycled Vintage Steampunk Necklace

This necklace was inspired by the lovely silver-tone pin with the white flower. I paired it with a vintage rhinestone bow pendant, a vintage reverse-carved rose cameo and a small dragonfly charm. I have left the pin back on the brooch in case you ever want to wear it as a pin. By simply removing 2 jump rings it can easily be converted. The necklace is finished off with a 16" long vintage chain and a reclaimed (although not vintage) hook clasp. The pendant measures 2" across.

REMEMBRANCE Upcycled Steampunk Necklace

This upcycled steampunk necklace started as a collection of vintage gems pulled from the drawers and boxes and tins in my studio. They began to look like remnants of a life, memories which were tucked away, to be pulled out on a rainy day, passed down through generations and added to on occasion.

All of the components in REMEMBRANCE are upcycled from vintage jewelry and found objects. Even the jump rings have been salvaged! You will find a chandelier crystal (to which I added a beadwoven bale), small heart and flower charms, a vintage skeleton key charm, vintage fire-polished crystals and watch parts. These are suspended from a time-worn chain (18") with a spring clasp. The pendant is just over 3"long.

TIME IN A BOTTLE Upcycled Steampunk Necklace

The vintage watch case used for this upcycled steampunk necklace looks futuristic and old all at the same time. It has just enough natural wear and patina. Inside the watch case is the clock movement with a rhinestone instead of a battery. Suspended from the watch case is a small bottle with watch parts - thus "time in a bottle". The pendant measures 2" long from top to bottom and the vintage brass chain is 19.5" long.

This upcycled steampunk necklace was inspired by the vintage watch case. It paired perfectly with the vintage silver crescent moon charm. The original clock face is dressed up with some silver filigree flowers. The charms accompanying the moon are a small silver dragonfly, a vintage rhinestone link and a silver filigree teardrop. Beaded Necklace with Vintage Enamel Pin Pendant

This beaded rope necklace features a vintage enamel pin signed by "Inga". The pin has been wrapped in a beaded bezel so that it can also be worn alone as a brooch. Because of the way I designed the bale for the pin, if you have another pin you would like to wear as a pendant, you can do that with this necklace, as well. The colors are a summery mix of orange, copper, wine and lime green.

Techniques used in this piece are spiral rope and peyote stitch as well as a beaded loop and toggle clasp.

This upcycled steampunk necklace is fashioned from a vintage watch case, small charms and chain which have all been reclaimed from other vintage jewelry pieces. Even the tiny shells in the small glass bottle came from a Hawaiian necklace presented to me on a trip to Hawaii. The pendant measures 3" long and it is suspended from an 18" chain.

I have always loved this quote from "Jonathan Livingston Seagull" by Richard Bach. When I found this great watch case in a collection of vintage jewelry it immediately reminded me of the seashore. When I found the lovely picture of a flying seagull, it just all came together.

SEAGULL is from a line of upcycled jewelry pieces which are made from the vast collection of vintage costume jewelry in my studio.

All of my beadwork and jewelry creations contain upcycled/recycled/repurposed elements and are one-of-a-kind
(OOAK).

MEXICALI ROSE Beaded Statement Necklace

"Mexicali Rose" is a one-of-a-kind, beaded necklace which features a striking shell pendant. The colors practically jump out at you - how can you go wrong with turquoise blue and fuchsia pink? (I am such a child of the 80's!!)

The large focal piece is set in a peyote stitch bezel and expertly backed with suede leather - the edges are finished with a row of seed beads using brick stitch. The pendant is suspended from a spiral rope necklace with an adjustable, repurposed clasp in an antique brass finish. The pendant measures 3" x 3 1/2" not including the bail and the necklace can be 16" to 18" long.

This upcycled, steampunk necklace features a sleeping fairy queen framed within a vintage watch case. She is surrounded by flowers, pearls and rhinestones. The pendant, which measures 1 3/4" across, is suspended from a 22" vintage brass chain. This lovely necklace holds a special place in my heart because Shakespeare's A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM is one of my all-time favorites!

WAVES OF SYMMETRY Beaded Cuff Bracelet

This beaded cuff bracelet was featured in Bead and Button magazine (Oct 2009). This striking bracelet was made especially for an Etsy Beadweaver's Challenge. The theme was "Art Deco". I spent a lot of time looking at pictures of buildings and artwork from that era and loved the straight, clean lines but what kept catching my eye were the beautiful, symmetrical waves which would appear. These waves were what inspired my WAVES OF SYMMETRY cuff. The colors form a classic palette from that era as well: aqua blue and sea foam green set off by black.

I used seed beads and right angle weave to form the cuff and the button loop clasp features two lovely pressed glass buttons from the art deco era. This bracelet measures 7 1/2" from end to end and will fit up to a 7" wrist. It can be adjusted for a larger wrist size upon request. While I may repeat the pattern for this cuff, I will never again make it in this color combination so this piece is truly one-of-a-kind.
