I started with a vintage kitchen scale which I purschased at the worlds largest yardsale I attended the beginning of August this year. It started its life as black and appears to of seen new paint way before I got a hold of it. I handpainted stars and stripes, sanded lightly and sealed with a matt sealer. It has its labels on both sides as pictured and is made in Louisville, USA. It is in as found condition missing paint, rust and all. The round silver disc pictured is on the back and it reads Regulating Screw INSIDE. If you look close you can see the numbers on its face poking thru. Measures almost 8 inches tall 6 1/2 inches across and 8 1/2 inches deep. One of a kind.

This blue and white 3 inch plate is encased with wire which enlarges size to 4 1/2 inches overall. It has two markings on bottom side of rim the blue marks you see at the top and a stamp on base. The blue marks are unlegible to me and the stamps on the base appear to be a S and a K. I bought this piece years ago from The Flow Blue Brothers at show in Texaas. I think its a butter pat. There is no hanger. Its a darling peice.

Miss Liberty with Uncle Sam were made by me using a "The Key To Primitive" pattern. Miss Liberty is made from muslin, she is about 30 inches tall. Everything is painted, sanded and stained. The base of her torch is a old porch spindle and the sash is hand stamped. Her shirt is two flags which I stitched together. Eyes are osnaburg with buttons for pupils. Nose and eyebrows are pinched. I have added a twine hanger to her back, she sits nicely even though her skirt is stiff from the paint. Uncle Sam is also made from muslin except for his pants they are from osnaburg. Osnaburg eyes with buttons for pupils, pinched nose and eyebrows. His beard is of wool. His pants are hand stenciled with red stars. Uncle Sam is alittle more than 14 inches tall. I coffee dyed everything. No glue everything is hand stitched in its place. This is a awesome doll and would make a great addition to your Americana collection. I kept one for myself. I love her.

It is made from white and blue calico which has been coffee dyed. The little bee pin is a design by Carman its made from muslin and painted with stripes the wings are from old quilt. Face is handstitched with floss. The watering can is rusted. Two buttons were sewn down the front. Dress mneasures 15 inches long. The stick measures 12 inches long. Isn't she wonderful! I made her using a design by Primitive Annies. She is about 24 inches tall and made of muslin. I painted her black and sanded her. She is stuffed with poly fil. Her eyes are painted then outlined with a heavy thread along with other facial features. Her nose is red. I think she's a black raggedy anne. Her hair is wild its wire that I wrapped with black yarn then I stitched the wire in place. Her dress is a homespun with a handstitched hem, collar is from muslin. She is wearing no bloomers. Her shoes and stripes are painted on. Her doll is also of muslin, handstitched facial features, painted shoes and stripes and yarn for hair. She is tacked in her place. Coffee dyed.

I handmade him using a design by Ragged Edge. He is about Measuring 43 inches tall. His face is osanburg with a pinched nose. Eyes are warm and natural his pupil is blue felt. Mouth is red fleece. Eyebrows and beard are wool I got from a site from New Zealand. All are handstitched in place. Checks are blushed. Jacket is hand dyed burlap trimmed in fur. Belt and boots are muslin, painted then sanded. His belt is trimmed with rust bells all stitched in their place. He sits nicely there is no stuffing in his legs. He has a dowel across his shoulders to help with his shape. Ornament is made from muslin then cover with paper mache and painted and sealed. It is just tied in its place. Coffee dyed. He'd be a great addition to any holiday decor.

Her apron is handstitiched with black floss and reads the stockings were hung by the chimney with care. Legs are of red ticking. The stockings are baby socks I dyed red and are attached to apron with two small cloth pins. Coffee dyed. I have this one looking for a new home this holiday season.

Snowball Garland

Handmade by new using a design by Crooked River Mercantile. Made from muslin and standing almost 30 inches tall. Eyes and nose are fleece and mouth is back stitched. He's dressed in childs red long johns and his scarf is a piece of chair webbing. Mittens and boots are painted black, sanded and trimmed with fleece. Hat is muslins painted and sanded and stitched in place. His snowman garland is also handmade by me using strips of warm and natural with handstitched faces. Shipping tag is handstamped. No glue was use. Coffee dyed. One of a kind.

I took a sap pocket made from a old sap bucket and painted it with stars and stripes then antiqued. Measures about 17 inches in length top to bottom. Handle is from barbwire. These look great hanging just about anywhere with just about anything in them. Please note the hole in the front at the top this would of been for hanging on the tree to collect sap.

You will receive all three the Cloves and Thyme are the same please note that the Mustard is different. The Mustard has a removeable tin lid and the word Mustard is stamped on the front, back and side the others are printed. The Mustard tin is the same front and back where the other two have recipes on their backs. They measure 3 1/4 inches tall by 2 1/4 inches across and 1 1/4 deep. All are full of spices and darling.
