Feminine and sweet - I wish this hat would fit ME! I like it so much I think I will work on an adult version. This hat will fit a toddler - it is perhaps a bit large for a baby. the circumference of the rim is 17.25 Inches. This is important because that part of the hat is not going to stretch out further. The rest of the hat is stretchy however. Please measure your sweet child's head prior to purchase. I put the hat on my adult sized hat form but as you can see it doesn't pull down as far as it will on a child. Created with pink 100% acrylic yarn along with white trim that is incredibly soft and created of acrylic, nylon and rayon. I recommend hand wash and lay flat to dry but it is machine washable. (I would not put this in the dryer.)

This wrap was a labor of love. I wanted to create something that looked vintage yet modern. As a bonus, I feel it has a bit of a Native American feel/look to it. This wrap is one of a kind currently as it took quite a bit of time to complete. I like how the multiple levels add a bit of interest and movement. It can be worn as a basic wrap or, toss one side over the opposite shoulder for a different look. It will look fantastic with jeans! Dress it up or down. Can be worn any time of year.

Swirling Nickel Silver and Christmas Red Ruby Quartz Coctail Ring SZ 7.75-8

Swirling rings of satin surrounding a faceted red ruby quartz bead. The beads I have are not perfectly round which allows for a nice contrast against the curves of the metal. The tone of this metal is interesting. I used a diamond file to create the satin finish and found it created a not-quite platinum look. The color rides between platinum and a slightly gun metal look in color. This is modeled in the photo on my hands. I take a size 6 on that finger - so this is very loose on me but I wanted you to get an idea of what it looks like on the hand. It is a size 8 but due to the width I feel it would be most comfortable on a size 7.75. The last photo shows the color best and if you enlarge that photo you will see the satin finish. I love the tone of this metal. It is not actual silver, but is a less expensive alternative and does not tarnish in the way silver does. See below for information on Nickel Silver.

Nickel Silver:
Nickel silver first became popular as a base metal for silver plated cutlery and other silverware, notably the electroplated wares called EPNS (electro-plated nickel silver). It is used in zippers, better-quality keys, costume jewellery, for making musical instruments (e.g., cymbals, saxphones), and is preferred for the track in electrically powered model railway layouts as its oxide is conductive. It is widely used in the production of coins (e.g. GDR marks, Portuguese escudo). Its industrial and technical uses include marine fittings and plumbing fixtures for its corrosion resistance, and heating coils for its high electrical resistance.

After about 1920, its use became widespread for pocketknife bolsters, due to its machinability and corrosion resistance. Prior to this point, most common was iron.

A lovely swirling ocean of gold created in solid brass and brushed to a satin finish. A lovely Christmas red ruby quartz rests in the center and its facets flash against the light. This is a size 6 but it is a wide ring so it fits nicely on a size 5.5 finger (though that is a size 6 finger in the photo). The stone/bead is not perfectly round in my opinion which makes it more interesting.

Brass gives you the look of gold without the high price. You can brighten this piece should it tarnish - by polishing it with ketchup! It works! I used a diamond file to create the satin look to the brass and I love how it added a gentle glow to the metal.

When I saw these faceted Christmas Red Ruby Quartz Beads I HAD to buy them. The color made me think HOLIDAY but also screamed excitement. I did not know what I was going to make but I knew it would be fabulous! What you see here was an experiment/prototype that turned out even better then I had hoped. I love the fact that this bracelet maintains its shape due to the sterling silver heavy 14 gauge wire that shapes it. The faceting in the beads adds to the festive look. An extender chain with dangling fresh water pearl and brass flower tag was added from repurposed sterling silver heart chain. This allows you to use the sterling silver hook clasp to connect within the heart link that makes the bracelet most comfortable for you. That is my wrist in the photo and it measures approximately 5.5-5.75 inches. This bracelet should fit a 5.75 - 7.5 inch wrist comfortably. Give this to someone you love or keep it for yourself. It would also make a great Valentine's Day gift due to both the color and the heart shaped links. I will be making more of these cuffs (perhaps 2 as I have limited supply of these beads), however, no two will be exactly alike. I am not sure that I have additional heart link chain and I tend to get creative (wink). This prototype of this design was the first of its kind in my shop and as such may have a few tool marks on the underside of the silver end loops that didn't polish completely out - they are not noticeable unless you are looking for them and they certainly do not detract from its beauty. The color of this particular set of mother of pearl beads inspired the entire bracelet. They are the color of the sand and feel cool to the skin. This blue/green wrap is super long which allows it to be worn many different ways just by lopping through the bamboo ring and wrapping it around your body.
