Oh, what a wonderful marriage! I have taken a beautiful shabby chic dish and paired it with a hand painted candlestick to create a one-of-a-kind serving piece or jewelry holder. This is a really cute way to hold/organize your jewelry. It is a wooden plaque that I have painted black and then I added the name in various colors. Cup hooks are screwed in to hold all the jewelry. This can be totally personalized. The back part can be any color and so can the letters of the name. You just let me know the color scheme and the name you want, and I can make it for you. I added a ribbon as a hnnger, but it can also be hung by picture hangers if you'd prefer.

This would be great in a kid's room to organize jewelry, ribbons, hair bands, etc. It could also be used to hang medals or awards.

What a transformation! This beautiful board used to be an old shutter. I have painted it black and added a black and white fabric covered magnetic board on one side and a chalk board on the other side. I left the original hook that was used to hold the shutter closed because I think it adds character. It has a lovely arched top detail and would make a unique message center in your home. It comes with 5 vintage buttons turned into magnets. You can either set it on a desk or table in a slight "V" shape, or you can hang it on the wall. Convo me your preference. If you want to hang it, I will attach a picture wire to the back.

This would be great to keep you organized. The magnet surface could hold pictures, notes, business cards, etc., and the chalk surface could hold your shopping list, notes to family, or reminders.

These two vintage slate chalkboards have been turned into a wonderful message center for your holiday greetings. I have painted the wooden frames of the chalkboards green and embellished them with holly and berries. I have also accented the edge with white stitching. Yellow Wire Magazine Rack

This is so cute! I rescued this fun and handy magazine rack and gave it a new lease on life. I painted it a butter yellow color and accented the cute 3 ball handle with brown paint. The piece needed something more, so I wove brown polka dot ribbon through the wires of the rack and glued them into place so they wouldn't slip down. It has ball feet and actually one side leans a little "wonky", which is hardly noticeable, but it doesn't affect its stability in any way. I think it makes it more charming.

Its original purpose was a magazine rack, and it would be fabulous in that role, but it would also be great as a toilet paper holder in your bathroom (as seen in the photos) or as a bin to hold knitting/sewing supplies. It's just a great piece for anywhere!

This sweet wall shelf was a great find that I have totally transformed from its former dull self. It is a wooden shelf with a scrolled detail on its edge. The support brackets are made of wrought iron and are very decorative. I have painted the shelf in a soft cream color and added some sweet painted flowers along the top edge. The whole shelf has been given an aging glaze treatment to give it shabby chic charm. The brackets have been given the same treatment (minus the flowers).

It comes ready to hang on your wall. All you need to do is make sure it is screwed in properly with anchors or into a stud-esp. if you are putting anything weighty on it.

This would be great hung low on the wall in the entry way for a photo, candles, or knick knacks. It would be great on any wall for that matter. The benefit of hanging it lower is that you can see the flower details easily, but it can certainly be hung at any height you wish.

This OOAK serving tray is made from a wooden tray that I have painted in taupe and distressed. Coordinating paper lines the bottom of the tray, and on top of the paper I have adhered vintage stamps from around the globe. Most of the stamps are from the 70s and 80s, but a few others are sprinkled in. The surface has been sealed with several coats of a clear coat. The tray comes with a removable piece of glass if you are going to put something wet (like a sweating glass) on it, but doesn't need to be used for dry items unless desired. This OOAK wall clock originally started off as a vintage something. It had the shape, but nothing in the center. I thought it would make a wonderful shabby chic wall clock. I painted the frame in a soft butter yellow and slightly distressed it for a mellow effect. A wooden circle was cut to size for the center and treated with a floral pattern. Finally the clock was added. It comes ready to hang with a keyhole hanger on the back.

This would be great in a kitchen, bedroom, living or family room or an office. It has such great lines and really makes a statement.

Another hard working but beautiful storage piece. This was part of an old sewing machine table in its former life. I have given it a new lease on life as a great storage piece for a desk, kitchen, bedroom, or any place you need some extra drawers! I have added a top since it didn't have one, and I have painted it in a base of buttermilk yellow with a glaze of green over top. I have hand painted a flower and leaf motif on top and on the drawers as an accent. The whole thing has been glazed to give it a proper aging.

Another addition to one of my favorite things to find! This antique sewing drawer turned storage bin has been totally rejuvenated! I have base coated it in a colonial red paint, then I have added a creamy white over top using a crackle finish. I also added a little glaze to age it even further. To jazz it up more, I have added vintage buttons along the edges and to both ends, vintage drawer pulls (could be handles or a decoration). The inside is lined with coordinating fabric.

This wonderful box would be great for storing anything your heart desires. I think it would be wonderful in an office for desk supplies, in the kitchen for bills/cards, in the family room for remotes, or in the bedroom for jewelry, hair clips, etc.

This gorgeous antique sewing drawer set has been painted and distressed by me to give it a new life. It offers so much storage, and it's beautiful to boot! It has been painted a creamy buttermilk color and accented with blue and white flowers and green stems. Since it came from an antique sewing cabinet, it had no top piece, so I have added a new one and painted that to match. The drawers are lined with a coordinating striped paper. It has been waxed to protect the finish and give it a soft, mellow look.

It is a wonderful shabby chic piece that can be used in an office for desk supplies, on a dresser for jewelry, or in a kitchen for keys, receipts, etc. Use your imagination, but anywhere you put it, it would look lovely!
