Here's a print of an original oil painting by a famous American wildlife artist, Guy Coheleach. This Guy Coheleach print, "Coming Home", is an early 1960's Donald Art publication from Port Jervis, New York. Nicely detailed, you can see the laundry drying in the breeze casting a shadow on the red house. The mail box flag is down to let the postman know there is mail to be picked up. If you look closely you can see the silhouette of the driver in the horse and buggy. Looks like late winter time maybe. Very pretty colors.

Take a nice long look at the detail and you'll be pleasantly surprised at everything you can see. I spiffed it up a bit to make it look nice and primitive. The frame is nice and tight at the mitered corners. The print was transferred onto a thick pressed artist paper or artist cardboard. There is a cable hanger on the back.

You can find out much more about the artist if you google his name, but here is a little info on him...
Guy Robert Coheleach was born in NY City in 1933 and Graduated from Cooper Union in 1956 after a military interruption serving in Korea with the 65th Combat engineers from 1954-’55. Guy Coheleach has had one man exhibitions at major museums in 18 American cities. His paintings have received the Award of Excellence of the Society of Animal Artists eight times. He now lives in New Jersey and Florida.

Bowl rack or keep. Reproduction Primitive Early American period style dough bowl keep for your kitchen, keeping room or gathering room. This keep holds a lot of bowls! It will fit your smaller and medium size bowls from 9 inches to 13 inches. You could even put some hooks across the bottom bar to hang more primitives. Tuck or hang some of those grungy grubby primitives in there like your early nubby hand towels, kitchen towels, a string of antique cookie cutters and whatever other primitive pieces you have in your collection that you can, and this sturdy bowl keep will hold 'em, 'cause the front and rear cross bars are recessed. You'll have fun, but don't go too crazy though!
Made of pine wood by hubby and handfinished by me with TLC from my gracious home for yours.
Your bowl rack may have primitive must haves like knots and cross bars that bow a little after cut out, that really add to its' primitive character. That darn wood has a mind of its' own.
I painted this bowl keep in two colors, New England Red over Black, distressed it, and added a tinted paste stain to protect the paint, and for an added affect.

For the Shabby, Cottage or Chic decor, is this punch needle flower that I punched on linen fabric with different shades of reds and greens. Includes a little visitor, a gold lady bug has made its' way onto the flower. Double matte. I have framed this piece with a handcrafted wood frame, two inches wide and half inch thick, made by hubby. Mitered corners. I finished it in Valley Forge Mustard paint and sealed it with a paste wax. The back has been sealed with brown paper. There is glass over the front.

Welcome! Take a look and consider this vintage decorative kitty cat with a rusty curly hanger to hang on your peg rack or kitchen cupboard door knob. Handmade, handsewn this kitty is poly fiber filled and the mouth and nose are handstitched with a heavy pink thread. It even has a green bow tied around its tail. I handstitched this inspirational stitchery, God Bless This Home with red hearts intermittently around the border, for your home on tea stained canvas. The edges of the canvas are frayed for an added effect. I then stitched the canvas to some blue & cream homespun fabric and secured it between a primitive handmade frame and wood backing. The corners of the frame are mitered. I painted the frame in acrylic blue, sanded it to smooth it out, then waxed it to protect the finish. There is no glass in this frame. Would make a nice inspirational primitive shelf sitter:)

Measures 19&1/2" long by 8" high by almost 3/4" deep.

GIN BOTTLE ERVEN LUCAS BOLS AMSTERDAM 1/2 LITER

Vintage Gin Bottle measuring 8.5" tall and 2.5" diameter with "IRVEN LUCAS BOLS T LOOTSJE 1/2 LITER AMSTERDAM around the shoulder, and no markings on the bottom side. Note the letters HE (HET LOOTSJE) are missing.

Erven Lucas Bols and Hulstkamp Zoon & Molyn were the most prolific Gin distillers and distributors between the early 1850s and 1920. Earthenware pottery is made from nonwhite clay and is fired at lower temperatures than porcelain. The color of clay is determined by the amount of minerals present in the clay, especially iron. Red and yellow clays require tin or lead glazes in order to hold water.

Stoneware, a type of grey clay mixed with vitreous material, is impermeable to water without a glaze. Stoneware is often given an interesting orange peel-type texture during the firing process by throwing rock salt into the kiln. This process is called salt glazing. In my opinion this piece is in overall good condition. Antique and vintage items by their very nature are used items and will show signs of normal wear due to age and use. As we define 'good condition' relative to the stated age of the piece, we would expect to see 'character marks' consistent with that age and could include nicks or dings to a wooden or metal object, wear to a painted surface, speckling on a mirror, crazing or manufacturer’s glaze skips in ceramic finish, wear to a label, and some original decorative trim may be missing. If ceramic/porcelain restoration has been done, it is of museum-quality so that it is hardly discernable and would be mentioned in the listing. 'Good condition' would not include chips or cracks in any glass or ceramic item.

I'll let the photos show and tell the condition. I am not an expert so I do research online and describe my items to the best of my ability.

Here is a primitive pipe or candle box with a drawer. Wooden handcrafted, handpainted, primitive, folk art, farmhouse box. This listing is for the chocolate black candle box only. The other pictured items are for presentation purposes only, and are not for sale.

This box was handcrafted by my husband, and handfinished by me. Made of almost 1/2 inch pine wood it has very sturdy construction. I sanded it by hand to smooth out the edges, painted it chocolate black, painted a Pennsylvania Dutch fraktur on the front and the back, then rubbed it with tinted paste wax for an added effect and to protect the finish. Colors of red, blue, green and chocolate black(dark brown).

Primitive Folk Art Everybunny Welcome Rabbit LARGE Handcrafted Wooden Hanging with a BIG Heart

Large Primitive Folk Art bunny to hang on your wall or door. She can hang out year round. Hubby and I worked together on this big girl and she turned out beautifully primitive and/or shabby looking. I painted her up and adorned her with a homespun ribbon on her head and homespun fabric for the inside of her ears. Her ears are attached with biscuit joiners and gorilla glue. A tatted cotton lace collar looks pretty. We added a big heart for her front and decorated it with spanish moss, twigs and artificial flowers. She's in colors of dark green, antique ivory, new england red, and black trim. Hubby even beveled her edges. Her Everybunny Welcome plaque has a couple pretty vintage buttons with bows. Notice how the letters hop up and down like a bunny rabbit. I added cotton fabric socks on her feet and stitched them together in the back. Her cute dangly feet are attached with wire. To protect her and for an added effect, I finished her with minwax stain. We spent a lot of time on this gal, and had fun doing it. There is a keyhole in the back for hanging.

This wooden corner cat, painted bayberry green on one side and fabric covered on the other, is for that space that needs something a little extra. I've used a spray adhesive to attach a pretty striped coordinating homespun fabric on one side. Patches can sit on your shelf, cabinet, door frame, or cupboard. He can be shabby and chic or primitive, but you can be creative and change his bow according to season, etc. and have lots of fun decorating him. Measures 15&1/2 inches long from ear to tail, 12&1/2 inches from paw to tail high, and 1/2 inch thick. Made of pine wood. Oh yeh, the backside is painted only and can be displayed too! So Patches is versatile in position.

Of course, I called this one Paisley, but you can name her, change her bow according to season, etc. and have lots of fun decorating her. Measures 15&1/2 inches long from ear to tail, 12&1/2 inches from paw to tail high, and 1/2 inch thick. Made of pine wood. Oh yeh, the backside is painted only and can be displayed too! So Paisley cat is versatile:)

Pair of primitive americana kites to adorn your primitive, folk art, and country home decors with. We made each in four sections and fancifully wired them together. I painted them, sanded, and primmed them up nice just the way we like 'em. They even have wire tails with cotton bows that I grubbied up with tea and coffee. Colors are satin cream, village tavern blue, forest green, and barn red. They are painted both on the front and backs. Saw tooth hangers will be included so you can make adjustments and hang them on your wall. They each measure 12" wide by 20" tall not including the tails.

For your kind consideration today I am offering this large olde folk village house, which serves both as home decor, and a nite lite. Handmade by hubby using 1/4" luan plywood. Luan is essentially a mid grade mahogany veneer plywood. Corner supports made of poplar on the inside corners. Has a night light in the back. Has wire window panes and copper star accents, which I painted mustard. I finished it with barn red and a black roof. It has a faux chimney made of wood. There is a clear matte spray to protect the finish. The twig wreath, and night light cord are included.

It's Autumn and a good time for baking so I added Grandma Alice's Carrot Drop Cookies recipe with some bunnies and a carrot. I added some homespun tied off with twine, a votive cup, and candle. You can burn these safely while you are at home. Usually a couple, three hours at a time. I finished the jar with a minwax stain for an added effect, and to protect the paint.
