This 18 inch by 29 inch Fat Quarter (FQ) is plenty of fabric to make any of my patterns requiring knit fabric or it can be used for the lining.

Each style includes 5 sizes from preemie up to about 12 months. (4 inch foot length. (52mm to 102mm)

All the patterns are designed to be made from soft knit fabrics. With the exception of style #4, this can be made from any type of fabric.

All of these soft cute lil' booties are to be made with the elastic sandwiched between the layers at the ankle so it doesn't mark your baby's delicate skin (except #5 which has ribbing), and they will stay on.

The patterns may also be used for baby doll booties.

Pattern #1 is a simple pull-on style bootie.

It has only 3 pattern pieces to make it nice and easy: a top, a back and a sole. It is self lining. It also comes with complete illustrated instructions.

Pattern #2 is a two tone pull-on style bootie.

It has an inset in the front that can either contrast your main fabric or be made from it.

The story for the picture on the pattern cover goes like this...

These lil' airplanes must have been kept under awning by the flower garden. They are just covered in cute little butterflies. You can't even see through the cockpit windshield because there is a butterfly there.

I prefer to use a soft flannel lining so little feet feel cozy in them as they take off for adventures in their dreams and have "Soft Landings" upon their return.

The pinwheel propeller can be securely sewn-on or snapped-on so it will spin. The wings are securely sewn in. It has elastic in the back that is sewn in-between the layers of fabric so the bootie will stay on and be comfy.

You may create them in any fabric of your choice.

Oops, mid air collision...everyone is OK!

It is a 100% combed cotton very soft Jersey knit with cute little pink and red baby ballerinas and roses on a white background.

Description: Also referred to as plain knit or single knit. Has distinct right and wrong sides, with fine ribs running lengthwise on fabric’s face, and semicircular loops running across reverse. This 18 inch by 29 inch Fat Quarter (FQ) is plenty of fabric FOR THE LINING any of my patterns requiring knit fabric. Or you can use it to make white booties.

It is White 100% Combed Cotton Interlock knit. (Interlock fabric looks similar to baby rib knit in that it looks like a tiny 1x1 knit. Basically, the difference is in the knitting of the fabric. While ribbed knit is knit in even rows, interlock is knit double-sided in alternating rows, alternating stitches, giving it a smooth surface and less stretch than with ribbed knit.)

Fabric is NOT pre-washed.
100% cotton fabric shrinks quite a bit when washed and dried in a dryer.
(I washed a fat quarter of this fabric. It came out wonderful, but it had shrunk by 3 inches lengthwise and 1 1/2 inches in width. So, I would allow for 6 x 3 inch shrinkage per yard and wash it before cutting out a pattern).

This is a delicate floral print fabric of unknown fiber content (I believe it to be polyester, but it may be a blend), 1 Yard (36 x 60 inches)

This is a soft fabric that has a raised Cream, Off-White Polka Dots, Leaves and Flowers print onto a nice Sage Green background.

The fabric is a jersey knit and has a fine elastic shirring approx. every 1/8" on the back. I show this in one of the pictures. I "assume" that once it is washed it will pucker the fabric giving it more stretch.

It has elastic in the back that is sewn in-between the layers of fabric so the bootie will stay on and be comfy.

If you are making these booties for toddlers or children, you will need a non-slip, grippy fabric for the soles.

This is 1 Yard of 100% cotton very soft baby 1x1 rib knit with cute Tea pots, tea cups, flowers, hearts, crowns, cakes and stars on a white background.

Rib knit
Description: Double-faced, reversible fabric with distinct vertical ribs on both sides, produced by alternating knit and purl stitches. Ribs can be small (1x1, that is, one knit stitch followed by one purl stitch), thick, (2x2 or 3x3), or uneven (1x3, for example).
Properties: Little or no lengthwise stretch, but lots of crosswise stretch and good, natural recovery. Cut edges do not curl.
Best use: Because of its elasticity, ideal for trimming other knits (and wovens). Garments made from rib knits are usually close-fitting and therefore use a pattern designed for knits.

Most of my patterns are sized for knits.

Patterns 1 and 2 are self lining and require knit fabric.
Patterns 3 and 5 will require knit fabric and an additional knit fabric for the lining.
Patterns 4 and the Airplane Bootie can be made from any type of fabric. They requires a separate lining fabric. (I prefer Flannel when using woven fabric)

This is the end of this bolt. There is 1 1/2 yards. It is a soft 100% cotton interlock knit with Cute Little Dogs in tan, brown and blues, white bones, blue paw prints, green bowls and signs, blue dog houses with light orange roofs and balls on a Baby Yellow background with the word Ahooo in light orange.

This fabric is perfect to make any of my Bootie patterns requiring knit fabric. Sold by the yard. 36" X 58"

This 18 inch by 30 inch Fat Quarter (FQ) is plenty of fabric to make any of my Bootie patterns requiring knit fabric.

It is a soft, nice weight 100% combed cotton interlock knit with sweet Black Labs, Beach Balls, Sand Pails, Sand Castles, Fish and Sail Boats on a Dark Pink background with Light Pink Dog Bones and Stars. Click on the little pictures for more detail.
