This is a wonderful piece of antique trim of a repeating dot pattern in cream. It measures 3/8" (1 cm) wide. The tags on the spool say this lace is 94% poly-cotton and 6% nylon, produced by The American Fabrics Co. out of Bridgeport, Conneticut, and should be drip dried. This beautiful lace is perfect to use for your next sewing project, collage, scrapbook, tag, card or mixed media piece!

All of the lace that we are offering for sale was bought at an estate auction in which the original owner was a German seamstress. The pieces are high quality, very beautiful and very old. They have been in plastic boxes in our home for nearly twenty years.

Elegant Monogramed F Handkerchief in White and Light Blue

This is an lovely vintage hankie or pocket square. It is made of a sheer white cotton and features embroidery cut-outs and a monogramed "F" in the bottom right hand corner in light blue. The handkerchief is handmade and has rolled edges. Measures 9"x9" (22.9x22.9 cm). It is in great vintage condition-bright and clean. This piece would make a wonderful addition to your collection, a decoration on your wall, or be material for your next sewing project, altered art piece or other creation.

The history of a hanky (from Wikipedia): A handkerchief (also called handkercher or hanky) is a square of fabric, usually carried in the pocket, for personal hygiene purposes such as wiping one's hands or blowing one's nose, but also used as a decorative accessory in a suit pocket. Richard II of England is said to have invented the handkerchief, as "little pieces [of cloth] for the lord King to wipe and clean his nose," which appears in his Household Rolls or accounts, the first documented use of them.

As you know, vintage linens are never perfect and may have been used in the past. Some may have small stains or holes. I chose not to launder them especially as some still have original tags/stickers attached. I did press them for photos, though some of the creases are over half a century old, and have kept them folded as I recieved them. Please enjoy!

Wind-Up Celluloid Hawaiian Hula Dancer Doll

Say "Aloha!" to this darling kitsch 1940s hula dancer doll. She is made of tin and celluloid and is dressed up in a traditional hula outfit which consists of a white "grass" skirt with a green ribbon belt, a fabric lei around her neck and two beaded bracelets. Her painted hair is short and black and is topped with a golden yellow painted beret style hat. The doll stands on straight tin legs which end in large flat yellow shoes. This little dancer measures 9" (22.9 cm) tall. She is marked on the back of the neck with the words "MADE IN JAPAN" and also has a red and white paper stamp on her right side which reads "J-F-E-C-T-M-A INSPECTION PASSED MADE IN JAPAN". The hula girl has a key style wind-up in the back but the mechanism no longer works. Besides the wind-up, she is in great vintage condition and would make a wonderful addition to any collection.

Antique Tax Collector's Receipts from 1913, 1915 and 1919

This is a set of five antique receipts for property taxes. The receipts are from Fremont and Jefferson County, Idaho. All are printed in black, blue and red and are written on in pen. The receipts are dated December 30, 1913; December 28, 1915; December 6 1919. The receipts are different shapes and sizes but the largest measures approximately 8" (30.3 cm) by 10" (25.4 cm). They will come in an archival safe, acid-free page protector. The receipts are in fair condition as they are survivors of the 1976 Teton Dam flood. They would be perfect to use for your next collage, scrapbook, tag, card or mixed media piece!

This is Chief Joseph from the 1979 Hallmark "Famous Americans" Series I Collectible Dolls. The shaped box features a tee pee and is marked on the back (c) Hallmark Cards, Inc. K.C., Mo. 64141 Made in Taiwan DT113-4. Inside the cover is a two paragraph description about Chief Joseph, the Nez Perce leader who lived from 1840 to 1904. The doll is loose in the box behind a cellophane window. He is a small, soft fabric doll about 7" tall. All the details of his clothing is printed on, from his earrings to his moccasins. The attached tag says February, 1979 Maine No. 96 Mass. Lic. No. 196 Ohio 6347 Mo. Reg. No. Pa. 252 Contents All New Material Cotton and Synthetic Fibers (c) Hallmark Cards, Inc. This is an adorable pair of small white leather baby shoes in their original box. The brand is Mrs. Day's Ideal Baby Shoe which was produced by the Mrs. Day's Ideal Baby Shoe Company, Inc. out of Danvers, Massachusetts. The darling shoe box is made of a light colored cardboard black printing. Inside the lid is a childs foot scale so that you can make sure of the right size. The box also proclaims the Ideal creed: "The Shoe of the Baby determines the Foot of the Adult". The box is marked on the end with "Style 185, Color White, Medium, Made in USA". There is also a tag on the box from the original retailer. It reads "Kaufman's SMALL FRY SHOP 2.98". It measures 5.75" (14.6 cm) long, 3.5" (8.9 cm) wide) and 2.25" (5.7 cm) tall. The shoes are made of soft white leather and tie up with white laces. The shoes measure 4.5" (11.4 cm) long and are in great vintage condition. They would be a wonderful addition to a vintage clothing collection, a decoration in a nursery or even a lovely accessory for your own little tot.

This is a darling vintage hankie or pocket square made for a child. It is made of cream colored cotton and is printed with an orange, green, gray and black image of animals at school. There is a wise old frog teaching class to a happy duck. The image was illustrated by Tom Lamb, an influential designer in the early part of the century who started in children's illustrations in the 1920s. I believe this one is from the 1950s. Measures 8.25"x8.25" (21x21 cm). There is a little bit of staining on this one, which might come out in the wash. Otherwise in good vintage condition and would make a wonderful addition to your collection, a decoration on your wall, or be material for your next sewing project, altered art piece or other creation.

Cream Wrist Length Ladies Gloves

This is pair of lovely wrist length cotton gloves from the 1950s or 1960s. They are made of very fine, tightly knit cream colored cotton with a bit of stretch to it. The gloves feature outside stitching, notched wrists, and a scalloped border around the opening. There is a white and yellow tag inside the right glove which says: MADE OF COTTON MART SET GLOVE CO. INC. MADE IN WEST GERMANY SIZE 7. They measure 7.5" (19.1 cm) long and 8" (20.3 cm) around the arm opening. They are small, probably a size 6.5, and they extend just to the wrist. There is a little bit of staining on the gloves from wear which will probably come out with a delicate hand washing in Ivory Snow, otherwise they are in great vintage condition.

As you know, vintage clothing is never perfect and may have been worn in the past. Some may have small stains. These gloves were collected from auctions and estate sales and have been saved in our collection for nearly twenty years. This intriguing little pin dish features a little blond haired boy perched on a toilet. The dish is made of white porcelain with blue trim and is indented to hold pins, coins or other trinkets. In the upper right hand corner is a white toilet with a gold rim where the little boy sits. The boy is lightly painted with peach skin, blonde hair and red lips. This is a very lovely large floral applique piece. It is a pastel pink color. The collar or accent piece features light pink fabric and embroidery that is surrounded on one edge by elegant lace flowers, dots and leaves. The applique piece is extremely delicate and exquisite. 1940s Ducky Nursery Sheet and Blanket Fasteners for Baby Crib

This is a set of two vintage hard plastic clips to secure the blankets in a baby crib. The clips are light pink and depict little ducks. These handy pieces were designed to hold a baby's blanket in place while in a carriage or crib and were produced in the 1940s. When the head of this whimsical design is pushed down, the bill opens allowing it to grasp the baby's blanket. The "wing" then is pushed up and secures to the head piece holding the blanket firmly in place. A small ribbon was usually attached through the small opening at the rear end of the figure and tied to the crib to keep it from getting lost. The top of the head & wing are ridged so that they lock together. Each piece is marked inside the beak "Federal Tool/Chicago/Pat. Pend." Each clip measures 4" (10.2 cm) long and 2" (5.1 cm) high. These little clips are in great vintage condition and would be a wonderful addition to a nursery or baby collection.

This darling little play set is still in its original packaging from the 1960s. Ready to play dress up, any young girl can be a "Little Glamour Puss" with this stylish purse, coin pouch and poodle brooch. The handbag is black with a gold accent on the front flap and a gold chain strap, the little coin pouch is black with a black snap closure and the poodle brooch is gold with a pin back closure. The accessories are enclosed with plastic packaging on purple cardboard with an illustration of a girl on it. The package is titled "Let's Pretend® Little Glamour Puss Play and Dress Handbag and Accessories." It is marked on the bottom "#834 MADE IN USA ©1966 BY CLEINMAN & SONS, INC. PROVIDENCE, R.I., USA." This is a wonderful vintage nursery rhyme book featuring 376 rhymes and over 260 illustrations by author Maruerite de Angeli. The illustrations are both in full color and black and white. The book was published in 1955 by Doubleday and Company, Inc. out of Garden City, New York. It is hardcover and contains 192 pages. There is a dedication written in red pen on the first page which reads "To Johnny Burb from Santa Claus Christmas 1955". Little Imp Vintage Childrens Shoe Box c. 1947

This is a fabulous vintage child's shoe box. The brand is Little Imp which was produced by the Littonian Shoe Co. out of Littlestown, Pennsylvania. The darling piece of advertising is made of dark green cardboard with a light green lid with white, pink and green accents. The logo for Little Imp is a green elf dancing in pink leaves. The box boasts that Little Imp shoes are "Fun for Little Toes". The box is marked with a 1947 copyright and the numbers 26 and 2. The other edge of the box is stamped "Black Patent" for the style of shoes that originally came in the box. It measures 6" (15.2 cm) long, 3.5" (8.9 cm) wide) and 2.25" (5.7 cm) tall. This vintage shoe box would make a wonderful addition to any collection.

These handkerchiefs are from the collection of my grandmother, so they could date anywhere from 1894 to 1985 or older. I chose not to launder them especially as some still have original tags/stickers attached. I did press them for photos, though some of the creases are over half a century old, and have kept them folded as I recieved them. Please enjoy!

This vintage bolo neck tie is made of Mexican silver with a turquoise stone. The image on the slide is a shaped Indian or Native American figure. The Indian slides up and down the braided black tie to adjust to fit loosely or tight. Each tie end is capped with metal tips. The black tie measures 34" (86.4 cm) from tip to tip. The Indian slide measures 2.5" (6.4 cm) tall and 1" (2.5 cm) wide. The turquoise and silver appear to be real although the piece is unmarked. The bolo is in excellent vintage condition and would make a wonderful addition to any wardrobe.

This vintage film reel canister may have once held a Hollywood masterpiece. It is extra large at 14.25" (36.2 cm) in diameter and just 1" (2.5 cm) deep. The canister is made of tin and is painted a matte brown on the outside. It is embossed with a logo symbol which includes the letters C, B & M inside an octagon. The canister is a wonderful piece of cinema history and would look wonderful decorating a theater or living room.

This is an lovely vintage hankie or pocket square. It is made of a sheer white cotton and is bordered with an elegant cut-out floral design embroidered in white. The only issue are some tiny brown stain dots the fabric which are hardly noticeable and could possibly be removed with washing. This is an adorable pair of small white rubber child's shoes. The outer surface of the shoes is textured and the top of the toes is decorated with a raised image of a clown playing a drum. This is a lovely costume piece from the 1950s or 1960s. It is a silver colored rhinestone scarf or shoe clip in the shape of a crown or trident. This is pair of great vintage Hanes Her Way gloves. They are made of black leather with a cream colored knit lining. There is a tag inside the gloves which says "Hanes Her Way Size S RN 42000 lining 80% acrylic 20% nylon Made in Philippines." The gloves measure 9.5" (24.1 cm) long from the wrist to the tip of the middle finger.

This is a sweet victorian style half doll. This type of doll was produced without legs so that they could be attached to something useful, such as pin cushions, wisk brooms, tea cozies, and powder boxes. This doll was made around the 1920s in Japan. She is made of porcelain with a shiny glaze finish and is subtly painted in pastel colors. She is a lovely young girl with blonde finger waved hair. Her arms are clasped in front of her holding a bouquet of flowers. There are four holes in the base so as to attach her to a pincushion or likewise. She is marked Japan on the back in red. The doll measures 3" (7.6 cm) tall. This demure lass is in great vintage condition other than some glazing cracks on her back. She would make a wonderful addition to any collection.

This seaside sweetheart is a figurine produced by the German company Galluba & Hofman in the 1910s or 1920s. This type of doll is commonly called a "bathing beauty". She is made of pre-colored bisque and is standing against a post draped with green cloth. Her hands are molded to her hips and she wears a molded purple hat with a yellow feather, a painted auburn suit with blue trim, painted purple shoes, and stands on an auburn stripped painted base. Her hair is in a short bobbed cut and is painted blonde. She is molded GERMANY Sp 434. Unfortunately her left arm is broken off at the bicep, but she is otherwise in good vintage condition. The doll measures 4.25" (10.8 cm) tall and 1.25" (3.1 cm) across the base.

As you know, vintage linens are never perfect and may have been used in the past. Some may have small stains or holes. These handkerchiefs are from the collection of my grandmother, so they could date anywhere from 1894 to 1985 or older. I chose not to launder them especially as some still have original tags/stickers attached. I did press them for photos, though some of the creases are over half a century old, and have kept them folded as I received them. Please enjoy!

The book is copyrighted 1959 by H.S. Stuttman Co. Inc. Publishers and the recipes and illustrations are by Helen Jill Fletcher. The book measures 6" (15.2 cm) wide and 8.75" (22.2 cm) tall. This collection of fabulous recipes and cooking instructions is 128 pages long. It is in great vintage condition. Elegant Cut-Out and Embroidery Handkerchief in White and Dark Green

This is an lovely vintage hankie or pocket square. It is made of a sheer white cotton and is bordered with an elegant cut-out floral design embroidered in dark green and white. Measures 14"x14" (35.6x35.6 cm). It is in great vintage condition-bright and clean. The only issue are three tiny wear holes in the fabric which are hardly noticeable. This piece would make a wonderful addition to your collection, a decoration on your wall, or be material for your next sewing project, altered art piece or other creation.

This colorful bill/invoice holder served as a promotion for Buster Brown shoes. The hook adjusts to stand out when hanging from a wall to hold the family notes and bills. Dated 1946 on the edge of the circular button. The picture includes Buster Brown and his dog Tige. Under the picture reads "Buster Brown Vacation Days Carnival". The button, about two and one eighth inches round, shows little sign of wear. The hook is six and one half inches overall and is in good vintage condition.

This is a wonderful panel grape and leaf compote or fruit bowl with scalloped edge. The 8 panel footed compote stands 5.5" tall and is 9" in diameter across the bowl, 5" across the base. The bowl was probably made somewhere between 1950s & early 1970s. It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. There is a small flaw in the glass on the inside of the bowl that is barely noticeable. This piece is unmarked, but my research indicates that it was made by Anchor Hocking. It has been called "grape and leaf" and "grape with panels"
