Sweet hour of prayer, Sweet hour of prayer,
That calls me from a world of care...

This is a digital print of an original mixed media piece I painted for my daughter's eighth birthday.
A sweet little painting for a sweet little girl.
I had some friends request that I make prints available for all the other sweet girls out there, so here it is.

The original was done in watercolor, colored pencil and ink on smooth bristol board.

The image measures 8x10 centered on a 8 1/2x11 piece of fine art paper, and is printed with vibrant archival pigmented inks.

I cannot tell the difference between the print and the original!

"Don't forget to walk the goose!" her mother called. This is "Goose Girl", it was inspired by the flocks of Canada Geese that have been cruising our town. It is so wonderful to see and hear the birds again! My favorite part of this painting is the knit skirt, it looks so cosy and hip.

Polly Parrot Cone Puppet - peek-a-boo

Polly wants a puppet.

This is my handmade cone puppet inspired by some vintage puppets in my collection.

This sweet little parrot has a hand-sculpted head made of polymer clay which is also hand painted. Her body and wings are made of a lovely pink fabric, and a continuation of the fabric pattern is painted on her head. The cone is wrapped in a fun swirly green fabric. She is finished with gold metalic ribbon and trim. She is 18 1/2 inches tall.

This puppet is made for display and gentle play. Children and babies delight in watching these cone puppets play peek-a-boo with them.

This is a fashionable and adventuresome parrot who would make a wonderful and unique baby shower gift or birthday present.

I know that the international shipping charges seem crazy, but due to the long odd shape it has to ship international priority. That is the amount it costs to ship the Australia, so I assume it is similar to other countries. I know this will deter many from buying my puppets, and I am sorry, but I have to cover my shipping costs. If it ever is less than that, I will refund the difference.

These are my "Cherry Pickin' Sisters". When there are two sisters there is usually a glamorous talented one and a practical helpful one. Except for me and my sister, she is the glamorous, talented, practical, helpful one, and I'm the one eating all the cherries! I love cherries! I love sisters! Oh, and I made that glamorous/practical thing up.

The colors are wonderful! This print looks so much like my original watercolor.
Printed on archival matte fine art paper using HP Vivera archival pigment ink.
The image is 8" x 10" on 8.5" x 11" paper.

Each print is shipped in a protective sleeve in a bend-proof mailer.
