This is a spinoff of my original Mothers love necklace. This necklace features a Sterling silver plated Mother sparrow/bird, hovering over her precious nest of eggs. I weave the nests out of 24 Gauge anti-tarnish gold plated wire, nestling 3 rice pearl 'eggs' in the center. I just love how this necklace turned out! I grew up in Upstate NY, where our home was lined with Pine trees...they were sprinkled on the driveaway, a row of 5 trees over 100 feet tall!!

The gorgeous 1.3" true to life 16K gold plated pine pendant is adorned with a 1/3" wire wrapped citrine briolette. The special detail on this necklace is that i used thick sterling silver wire to wrap the stone that I hand oxidized to a cool black. The contrast pops and brings to mind an autumn sunset through the pines. 18" inch Gold plated chain with lobster clasp

I had the vision for this necklace for a long time before i actually found the materials to create it! Exotic, with a slight sci-fi edge. Very different and truly unique.

A tear drop shaped tentacle component with a slit in the middle houses a beautiful grade A laborodorite briolette. Flashes of greenish in the stone paired with the bubbly tear result in what looks to me like a cross section of OCTOPI tentacle set with a jewel!

The antique brass tear is about 1.4" inches long and the briolette is about 3/4" long. Specially hand wrapped to a brass chain. 16" inches long with a lobster clasp.

Inspired by my love and fascination with peacock feathers~ limited edition exclusive.

Since I was a child, my Eastern background meant for exotic household fixtures, including a tall, brass vase filled with colorful peacock feathers. I still remember the first time I saw a real, live peacock at age 3; rather than shying away from a bird that was as large as myself at the time, I followed it around mesmerized by the confident bird, and magnificent tail feathers. This is my tribute to the majesty of (God's perfection) the Peacock feather.

~The 'EYE' of the 'feather' has been painstakingly hand formed from 20 gauge square 14K Gold fill wire. The wire shape allows for great light reflection. At center is Deep sea blue Iolite faceted briolette focal. The center is embraced with additional wire layers, adorned with handwrapped smooth Smoky quartz, dainty turquoise and faceted green aventurine rondelles. The center is held by 3 layers of 14K Gold fill chains, dripping with dangling layers of high grade, microfaceted peridot rondels, smoky quartz and tiny turquoise rounds. Each stone has been carefully wrapped by hand. To complete the necklace is a row of lovely faceted green aventurine that come together with a 22K Gold vermeil spiral hook clasp. Tiny aventurines grace the clasp as a finishing touch.

Last month, after writing my own blog tutorial on how to darken sterling silver, without the use of harsh chemicals, I wanted to make a few pieces for myself. I decided to also list just a few here at Etsy for other to enjoy as well.

At the Beach
Inspired by a day at the beach, splicing open a large juicy pink watermelon studded with black seeds. I have only 3 of this color.

Oxidizing sterling silver turns sterling silver into a darker color. I actually oxidize mine 2 or 3 separate times for a deep, rich gray~black. It is a time consuming process so this small collection is a very limited edition.

A striking HOT PINK Chalcedony, faceted chubby briolette is wrapped carefully in sterling wire and suspended from a sterling chain. About 3/4" gemstone. Please expect minor variations as each stone is natural. Entirely hand oxidized and wired wrapped. I also have this necklace in other summer brights! Choose from green, aqua blue, grape purple or orange!

In NY, June has been full of rain! So I made this necklase to remind me of how beautiful the summer sky usually looks this time of year... A 3/4" Solid Cast Dragonfly in 14K Gold vermeil sits atop a large 1.3" Sky Blue turquoise. I have carefully handwired the dragonfly to sit against the turquoise when worn.
