Spectacular One of A Kind Applique Novelty Tan Sunflower Purse

This amazingly repurposed, one-of-a-kind purse has a gorgeous 6" diameter gold and brown sunflower sequin applique on one side, and on the right side are two more sequin appliques (bumblebee and butterfly), surrounded by vintage and found charms and jewelry findings, giving it a wonderful western feel. Sunflowers are everywhere here in Texas!!

You can hold everything in this one!!! It measures 19" from the bottom to the top of the handles, and it is 12" wide at the bottom by a full 5" deep. Under the front buckle (which features a snap) is the first pocket. Inside the front part are two small pockets, two huge compartments with a zipper compartment in the middle, and a zipper compartment against the back inside. As if that isn't enough, there is another zipper compartment on the back of the purse.

The interior is marked "St. John Bay" and the entire purse is immaculate and like new. It is made of PVC faux leather, however everyone who has seen it immediately thinks it is leather because of the great quality.

Santa is coming soon...are you ready? This original design Christmas mirror would make a great present for someone special--much more fun than a last minute unappreciated mall grab because you ran out of time again (I speak from experience!).

The frame is painted a cheerful Christmas red, and I have decoupaged pictures of Santa, a sleigh with Santa, a tree, some nutcrackers and a pretty doll, then added glittery green stars and fancy green glass stones to finish it off. This is truly a unique artisan piece that will really be appreciated.

This is an original art piece designed by me, and is handpainted in acrylics then sealed with several coats of polyurethane for protection. The wood mirror is 10 x 10" and the mirror is 3-3/4 by 3-3/4". It is ready to hang!

This big, bold, bodacious seashell necklace is totally unique and will make you feel especially glamorous when you wear it! It has an exotic African/Tribal feel to it and really makes a statement when worn. The magnificent shell pendant measures a whopping 3” x 1-1/2” and has a silver band at the top with four darker tan stones across it (it did not photograph well), and is surrounded by delicate orange abalone shell dragon wings, mystical Rudraksha beads, carved brown chow jade beads, and painted wood beads, finished off with a fancy “S” hook clasp. The necklace measures approximately 30,” and the pendant hangs about 3” from the necklace. It easily slips over your head. You will feel like a superstar with this one, and people will be stopping to ask about it for sure.

Rudraksha – The power beads which are always looked upon as Mystic, holy, divine and auspicious in India. Buddha wore these beads, so did Gandhi, Dalai Lama and the enlightened Indian Yogis. This pendant measures, from bail to tail, 3.5" long. The design on the front is from imported Italian decorative paper. The back of the pendant is marbled in golds and greens. The dangle, attached with blue art wire, is made of Swarovski crystals and a large, Aurora Borealis, green, Czech glass bead. Finally, at the end of this lovely summertime pendant is a Swarovski, ultramarine, crystal flower. In addition to this exquisite pendant, there is an ancient skeleton key that unlocks the garden gate, a delicate seashell given to her by a prince, a golden scroll disk from the evil queen's treasure chest, and some turquoise chips assembled on an antiqued gold ball chain. She has fallen in love with India, but has been sent back to England to mend a broken heart. The key to her happiness is here in the form of an ancient skeleton key, along with a beautiful seashell from the deepest ocean separating her from her love.

This 3.5" by 7/8" pendant features a bold Jaipur, Indian print trimmed with gold foiling and sealed with a shiny non toxic resin. Embedded into the resin are two paparadscha Swarovski rhinestones. The back of the pendant is stained a firey orange with Dr. PH Martin's ink to complement the design on the front. The drop is made from iridescent glass beads, two Swarovski paparadscha bicone beads and an amethyst teardrop Swarovski crystal that alone would make a nice pendant. Alongside this exquisite pendant is a delicate cameo on a deep green base, complimenting the colors of the pendant.

As always, this necklace is totally unique and one of a kind. It is on a ball chain measuring a little over 22 inches, and the beautiful cameo is a pin/pendant. I have designed the necklace so that the cameo can be removed easily and worn as a pin.

One of A Kind Embellished Burgundy Red Purse With Vintage Beaded Applique and Brass Findings

This amazingly repurposed, one-of-a-kind purse has a gorgeous 5"x 4" burgundy and deep peach beaded applique that looks very vintage to me. Other embellishments consist of brass jewelry findings from my stash of vintage goodies. It is stamped "Mondavi" on the front, and is in absolutely immaculate condition inside and out. This is truly an elegant little purse with an original design!

It measures 13" from the bottom to the top of the handles, and it is 9,5" wide at the bottom by 5" tall and 3" deep. Inside are compartments with a zipper compartment in the middle.

It is not marked inside and I really am unable to tell whether it is made of leather or PVC faux leather, however everyone who has seen it immediately thinks it is leather because of the great quality and feel of it.

For many years I have created custom collages for my friends and family to celebrate their lives or special moments. The collage pictured above is a very special one I did to celebrate the wonder of my granddaughter, Allie, and she loves to show it off to her friends when they visit. I created this piece on 18” by 24” gallery wrapped canvas, so it does not require a frame. I first painted a unique background to complement the objects I would be using, added photocopies of photographs and various ephemera that reflected the things she loves most and items that reflect her personality. Next, I added some unique artwork and language to accent the piece, and sealed it with a protective coating. I take great care to make sure my work is always reflective of the person or event being honored, and totally unique and special, so I can promise you that you will not be disappointed.

HOW IT WORKS:

•First, I would ask that you contact me via email or telephone so we can discuss the type of artwork you would like, the size of the canvas, type of canvas, specifics of what you hope the artwork will reflect, color scheme, completion date, etc. Based on that information, I should be able to quote you a price and give you an estimated delivery date depending on the size of the piece and the difficulty involved.

•Next, you will go through the checkout process to purchase this listing. The cost of doing a piece similar to the one in the photograph above on 18” x 24” gallery wrapped canvas, ready to hang, is $150.00, however smaller and less complicated pieces can easily be done for considerably less. For instance, a small 8" x 12" would be
$50.00 or less.

•We will agree on a price before you go through checkout, and I will create a “Reserved For” listing in your name with the specifics you request. Delivery will be in three weeks or less unless you request a rush order, which would require an additional charge.

•Once this is done, you need to provide me with black and white or color photocopies of any photographs, special items you wish me to incorporate, children’s artwork, handwritten notes or letters, favorite items, etc., and you retain your originals so they remain unharmed. I may not use everything you provide, but the more I have to select from, the better. Any unused items will be returned to you, of course. You can mail these to me, or send via email.

•Additional ephemera such as lace, jewelry, stones, crystals, etc., can often be used as well. As you can see from my webpage, I also make jewelry, so I have a large supply of unique items available, and if necessary, I will also specifically search out and locate additional unique items to incorporate into your artwork to make it very special.

•Once I receive the items from you, I will begin the creative process and work with you to make sure you are pleased. Well, if you loved the movie Beverly Hills Chihuahua, you just might like my little chihuahua puppy love mirrors!

Two lovestruck chihuahuas...one a very ritzy, glitzy Beverly Hills type chihuahua with green bling at her neck...and her true love, who is dreaming of her, are surrounded by hearts and a bit of green faux crystal gems for extra bling.

These make great presents! I can customize this with different colors if you like at no additional charge, but it will take me a little more time to ship it.

This is original art by me, and is handpainted in acrylics then sealed with several coats of polyurethane for protection. Here are my favorite colors again!!! I just love to combine shades of turquoise, browns and gold when making my necklaces. This original one-of-a-kind creation features a uniquely formed natural copper turquoise slice focal bead (approximately 2.25” x 1.75” x .25”). This is a serious slice of turquoise! In addition, I added freshwater pearls, stick pearls, brown jade, tiger eye, more turquoise,horn beads, then finished it off with a few “found” beads from my stash of mystery beads (translate I am not sure where they came from but I’ve been collecting them for years to use on occasions such as this!). This amazingly repurposed, one-of-a-kind purse has a gorgeous 6-1/2" x 5" turquoise blue sequined butterfly applique surrounded by vintage and found silvertone western charms and jewelry findings, giving it a wonderful cowgirl feel. The sequins are holographic and really sparkle like crazy. Butterflies symbolize freedom of spirit and joy to me, cowgirls just plain rock so I added boots, horses, a longhorn and wagon, plus some clear crystal bling!!

It measures 22" from the bottom to the top of the handles, and it is 10" wide at the bottom, 9.5" tall, by 3" deep. Inside is an open pocket and it closes with a snap closure.

The interior is marked "Carlo DiSanti" and the entire purse is immaculate and like new. It is made of cotton (which I assume is the crochet-looking part on front and back), PVC and nylon.

I immediately fell in love with this electric blue seahorse and knew he would be the perfect focal item for this gorgeouos necklace! He is a luminous, sparkling mixture of the brightest blue with deep purple shadows and intricate features, all done in delicate glass.

Surrounding this exotic sea creature are fancy silver Bali-stype spacer beads, exquisite biwa pearls in a matching shade of blue, and some repurposed purple round beads that I found in my stash. I finished it off with dainty milefiori discs in a matching shade of blue, and additional silvertone spacer beads with a silvertone magnetic clasp. The end result is totally unique!

WARNING....this one is not for the timid troops. However, if you enjoy making a statement when you enter the room, and wearing original designer jewelry, well this attention getting necklace is outstanding! I was inspired by the shape of these wonderfully exotic abalone gypsy wing shell beads, which just happen to go perfectly with the enormous deep teal blue chrysocolla pendant. Added to that are two silvertone feather dangles, silvertone Bali style spacer beads, and rectangular crazy lace agate beads. I finished the necklace off with some fun sparkly, irredescent chip beads in shades of deepest blue/purple/green/gold, depending on how you view them.

The huge chrysocolla pendant focal bead measures approximately 1-1/2" by 1-1/2" by almost 1/4" thick and the necklace measures 21" (measured inside the circle of beads) and it is finished off with a fancy silvertone "S" hook clasp for easy off and on.

Well, here it is, ladies! If you are looking for an absolutely perfect, beautiful, artistic original handcrafted necklace to wear with those fancy jeans, I've got it for you. I created this and knew right away it would be just perfect with jeans. Now, it will go with a multitude of other clothes as well, so no limitations here!

The centerpiece is a fancy dichroic glass starfish focal bead with hues of red, bronze, blue and silver. It measures approximately 2" by 2". Surrounding that are some fancy blue glass cubes, ornate red patterned oblong beads, and interspersed with those I have added matching dyed blue abalone shell beads. It measures a long 25" (measured inside the circle of beads) and it is finished off with a silvertone "S" hook clasp for easy off and on.

Unseen by all, she has found an ancient skeleton key to make good on her escape through the secret forest door to join her love, who is waiting on the sandy beach. A beautiful shell he once gave her as a remembrance finishes off this exquisite memento necklace. He memorialized her beauty in a cameo, freezing her beauty for all time.

The ball chain measures 23 inches long, and since the cameo is a pin/pendant, I have designed it so that it can easily be removed and worn separately as a pin.

The 3" by 7/8" one of a kind pendant features an ornate paisley pattern trimmed with gold foiling and embellished with a sparkling rhinestone flower. It is coated in a non - toxic, glass like resin. The drop, attached with orchid colored art wire has several beautifully hued Swarovski crystals and a tanzanite Czech glass bead. The pendant finishes with a tanzanite Swarovski teardrop crystal.

Here's an interesting mixed media original collage: Which Came First (the chicken or the egg)?

I found a great square panel with a wild rooster on it (9-3/4 x 9-3/4 x 1-1/2 of unknown origin...feels like wood but may be some sort of a composite), added some interesting related items like other roosters, eggs, farm animals, etc., and topped it with a stone garden figure of a child reading a book, wondering which came first. Then I painted on some red dots and black squiggly linesand outlines, and added to the border a bit. The result is quite fun!!

It is ready to hang with two hooks on back at the top on each side, and it has been signed by me and sealed with several coats of polyurethane varnish for protection.

Miss Buttons, my adorable rescue Chihuahua, came to live with me in December of 2003, and I fell in love with her immediately. She would always manage to sit right in front of my face when I stretched out on the sofa, or she would crawl up on my tummy and stare into my face. All I could see were those great big ears!

There's a story here, I thought, and so there was! I wrote, illustrated and published "Buttons' Big Ears" as a tribute to Buttons, and to help give back to PAWS of Austin, who rescued her from being euthanized. I also wrote it for Allie, my granddaughter, who loves reading about herself and now thinks we are world famous :-)! Photos show us at the SCBWI group booksigning at Barnes & Noble.

I gathered my favorite earthtone beads, especially my beloved snakeskin jasper focal bead and carved brown jade, and ended up with this lovely work of art just for you!

Created in pleasing shades of brown and silver, this necklace features a unique snakeskin jasper focal bead (30 mm, it measures approximately 1-1/2” x 1” x /25”), combined with oblong carved brown jade beads, painted wood beads and darker wood rondelle beads with silvertone spacer beads. It measures 26” long from the “S” hook clasp to the tip of the focal bead.

I love to combine shades of turquoise, browns and gold when making necklaces. This beautiful creation features a uniquely formed natural copper turquoise slice focal bead (approximately 2.00” x 1.25” x .25”). This is a serious slice of turquoise! In addition, I added freshwater pearls, stick pearls, abalone shell, brown jade, tiger eye, more turquoise, horn, and small rondelles from my recycle bin. Wow! What doesn’t this one have?! Classic burnt umber and shiny silver beads always look great together, and this one ends with a funky two-piece tiger striped metal pendant giving it a bit of a jungle look. The rectangular and round beads are glass, and the pendant is a silvertone metal with black stripes. The spacer beads are silvertone Bali style.

No, you are not looking at this one through a martini glass...it's asymetrical! I decided to walk on the wild side a bit and made this necklace with turquoise on one side and bronze colored blister pearls on the other. Then I added brown mother of pearl beads, and small turquoise beads and a unique silvertone focal bead with a Celtic looking pattern on it. For a bit more fun, I added some silvertone Bali style spacer beads, and the silvertone clasp in a fabulous butterfly design.

It measures 24" with the pendant dropping below by another 1-1/2."

Well, if you loved the movie Beverly Hills Chihuahua, you just might like my little chihuahua puppy love mirrors!

Two lovestruck chihuahuas...one a very ritzy, glitzy Beverly Hills type chihuahua with faux crystal bling at her neck...and her true love, who is dreaming of her, are surrounded by hearts and a bit of faux crystal gems for extra bling.

These make great presents! I can customize this with different colors if you like at no additional charge, but it will take me a little more time to ship it.

This is original art by me, and is handpainted in acrylics then sealed with several coats of polyurethane for protection. The wood mirror is 10 x 10" and the mirror is 3-3/4 by 3-3/4". It has a sawtooth hook on the back, and is ready to hang!

This amazingly repurposed, one-of-a-kind purse has a gorgeous 4" x 2-1/4" vintage sequin and beaded applique surrounded by vintage silvertone jewelry findings from my stash. This is truly an elegant little leather purse and quite beautiful.

It measures 20" from the bottom to the top of the handles, and it is 13" wide at the bottom by 7" tall and 5" deep. Inside are two outer pockets and a zippered compartment in the middle containing another zipper compartment and two open pockets.

The interior is marked "Worthington" and the entire purse is immaculate and like new. It is made of leather and it has some vinyl trim. The color is gorgeous and the quality is outstanding.

I then combined it with smaller turquoise slices, some totally unique beads called “Rudraksha,” copper, carved jade, wood rondelles, abalone, and two blue/brown rectangular stones I seem to have lost my identification on, but I believe they are blue crazy lace agate. I found this amazingly intricate dragon carved in wood and knew it would work beautifully with my collection of lime green beads! Mixed with tiny wood rondelles and Bali style silver spacer beads, it truly becomes an eyecatching work of art for you to wear! Some of the exotic Murano glass beads have fancy swirly patterns in them with silver trim on each end, the lime green glass beads are gorgeous, and the spacers consist of hammered discs and rectangular Balis with an interesting pattern on them.
