Call it what you will: heavy metal, steampunk, etc. This is a OOAK funky bangle bracelet. Made with coils and coils of sterling silver, copper, twisted wire (of sterling and copper), a mix of sterling beads and Mykonos Greek ceramic beads in copper or silver finishes. You will get many compliments and looks wearing this bangle. It has been oxidized, tumble polished for strength and shine, and hand polished for detailing.
Bangle will fit a 7-73/4 inch wrist. Remember, the bangle fits loose, as it must go over the widest part of the hand.

This is another bangle bracelet from my Ancient Worlds series. "The spiral dance" is pure copper wire coiled around a core of heavy gauge sterling silver in a continuous wrap of spirals. An interesting piece, and unique, some spirals have been hand forged and shaped. This bracelet has been slightly oxidized, tumble polished for strength and shine and finished with a light hand polishing.
This bangle will fit a wrist of 7 1/4-8 inches. Remember that the bangle will fit loosely, as it must fit over the widest part of the hand.

Another southwest themed piece I've done. I started with unique "pottery" style lampwork beads and discs that have been etched with fine silver. I hope the colors are true in the photos, but they range from classic terra cotta, turquiose blue, burnt red terra cotta, lighter orange and pastel beige. I strung coral heishi beads and finished the piece with a toggle clasp. All the sterling silver beads and findings have been oxidized, tumbled and hand polished by me. Matching earrings are included.

A fun to wear bracelet with beaded dangle charms. Very comfortable to wear, smooth fit; it feels good on the wrist. Artisan made lampwork beads in silvered cherry patina, made by Moon Stumpp. They measure approx. 9x14mm. I used smaller sized green Czech glass beads to intermingle with the lampwork beads. They are wire wrapped in oxidized copper, "door knocker" style and dangle comfortably on the wrist. The entire chain link bracelet and clasp is also handmade by me in oxizided copper. The bracelet has been tumbler polished and hand polished for a great shine and hardness. Measures a total of 7 1/2 inches in length, sits perfectly at 7 inches on a bracelet sizer.

The last photo was taken of the beads by the lampwork artist.

This is one of those times when a creation just becomes a "fluke". I started with copper discs that I shaped and formed and textured and kind of just let the form take shape. I've been working with spirals alot and I put the 2 together and wow! a jelly fish appeared! They look like a jelly fish swimming upward.
I used 1/2 inch copper discs which have been oxidized, tumble polished and hand polished to completeness. Surgical steel ear wires have copper bead detail. These are truely unique, as I do not think I could reproduce them!
Earrings measure 1 3/4 inches in total length.

Heavy gauge sterling silver wire forms the core of this bracelet, then I twist more sterling wire around the core. I hand twisted the copper piece for an accent and added that to the bracelet also. Handmade "S" clasp by me. The copper and sterling silver have been oxidized separately before construction for a nice weathered look. Machine tumbled for shine and hardness. This bracelet will fit a 7-7 3/4 inch wrist comfortably. This could be a unisex bracelet as well.

This is my favorite piece to date! It's all sterling silver coiled links, artisan made lampwork beads and hand forged bead caps made by me. Great lampwork beads made by Rodney Andrew. If you look closely it looks like lightning bolts of electricity going through them. I hand crafted the bead caps to match starting with plain silver discs and finishing them with distinctive markings and oxidation. A funky swan clasp completes the bracelet. Three links make this an adjustable bracelet also. Tumble polished for hardness and shine.

Bracelet measures a total of 9 inches in length and will fit

One of my favorite necklaces that I have created. I used beautiful artisan lampwork beads made by Jennifer Powers of Quinlan Glass as my focus for this piece. A lovely 28x27mm black heart (one of the prettiest I've seen) is the focus/pendant. Beautiful colors, raku-like, silver dots, 2 red hearts and mesh detail. Surrounding the heart on both sides are 2 sterling silver "love knots". Technique taught to me by Stacy Perry. Thank you Stacy!

The rest of the necklace consists of scroll shaped sterling silver connectors, handmade jump rings, links of more lampwork beads in coordinating colors of red, black, and cream with silver dot details and raku. I finished it off with a funky, yet simple hook clasp. All sterling silver has been oxidized and hand polished. The necklace measures 20 1/2 inches long. A funky heart necklace. Another beauty of copper! The lampwork beads used in this design were made by Carey of Sassy Stoppers. I've strung a focal bead with 2 lampwork discs: colors range from bright yellow, orange, beige, light brown (on the focal bead) to a fushia like pearlized finish. It's really hard to describe the colors; the lampwork beads are so pretty, they just reminded me of the sun, (thus the name). I accented with little golden freshwater pearls, and bronze pearls on the necklace, copper spacers, more golden discs, and Swarovski graphite copper crystals. Ends in a fancy etched toggle clasp. This bracelet set starts with artisan made boro lampwork beads by Moon Stumpp. These beads have nice earthy colors of green, brown, black, golden tan, and a sliver of silver. I made domed copper bead caps and embellished with black faceted Czech glass " Picasso" beads. Open worked copper beads for spacers are great contrast. The bracelet is made with all hand forged components, from the jump rings to the hook style clasp. Coordinating earrings are included in this set. The gemstone heishi beads are natural peridot. What can I say, this piece is just totally cool. Funky artisan made polymer clay beads are capped with hand/artisan made oxidized and hammered beadcaps. I kept the necklace pretty simple keeping the focus on the beads. Really intricate designs of purple, black, yellow, and a little bit of orange. I used an oval link sterling silver chain which I oxidized hand polished and put through the tumbler to give it a nice shine. Bali hook closure, wild earrings to match using Bali ear wires.

Simple, yet mysterious. This is a 16 inch necklace of oval shaped lapis lazuli gemstones and various shaped of Hill Tribe silver. The Hill Tribe silver has tiny floral patterns on them which coordinate with the Hill Tribe pendant. Then pendant measures 16mm and is double sided. Silver cube beads are 4x4mm. Strung on sterling silver 49 strand bead wire and secures with a lobster claw clasp.

A triple strand of rhodonite garnets and Karen Hill Tribe sterling silver. One strand has teardrop shaped garnet with flower stamped silver beads. Another strand has tiny rectangles of garnet with a few citrine beads thrown in for contrast with tiny stamped Hill Tribe rondelles and larger weaved Hill Tribe silver. From one of my favorite lampwork artists, come these beautifully decorated cube beads. A classic looking southwest earring. These are my favorite lampwork beads from Ginnovations glass beads! They are an etched bead, which is matte finished for that soft, natural pottery look. Colors include: chocolate, khaki, turquoise, and silvered ivory. The beads measure 10x15mm. I paired them up with Thai silver round beads, which are a higher grade of silver than sterling, about 99% pure, and they also have a matte finish look.
Here is a new ear wire look for my designs; I've made a "C" shape ear wire of sterling silver, slightly oxidized. This gives the earring a little length and a great flat appearance of the silver adding another dimension. You do not need backings for these, they do "hang" on the ear. I have made this style for myself and have worn confidently.
Very authentic looking southwest/native design!

I start with artisan "etched" lampwork beads that have a drizzle of silver on them. Followed by accents of Hill Tribe spacers, with tiny little etched designs on them, then I added faceted Swarovski bicone crystals in "olivine". Double loop wrapped for security. Kidney, or french hook sterling silver ear wires with a little texture added by me.

Details: earrings are 1 1/2 inches long. Artisan lampwork beads made by "Suebeads". Etched beads have a soft appearance, (matte), not shiny or glossy.
Hill Tribe silver is 98% pure silver made by the "Hill" people of Thailand.

This bracelet took many, many feet of copper and sterling silver twisted wire, which then gets coiled. It rests on a core of heavy gauge pure copper and has a unique swirl clasp, made by me. I used beautiful boro lampwork beads, that look like cherry pits: reds, beige, tan, and black. These beads are truly stunning! I've hand forged the copper bead caps here also, hammering them for a nice texture. This piecie is oxidized, then whole bracelet is tumble polished by machine followed by a hand polish to pick up the highs and lows (in shine) of the patina. This piece was tumbled for many hours insuring it's strength and shine.

Very whimsical in design, I started these earrings with 2 Kazuri beads. These are flat; smooth like stones and carry 3 color glazes on them. A muted fuchsia background with grey and beige paint on top. They are anchored with pure silver Mykonos tiny gears. The ear wires are sterling silver with tulips, and then I used sterling silver wire to create the ballon's strings. These have been tumble polished for shine and strenth.

Details: earring length is 2 1/2 inches long, not including the balloon string, Kazuri beads are approx. 24mm. Earrings do come with clear plastic backings.

Kazuri beads are made in Africa. Kazuri is a member of the Fair Trade Act.

I used green, pink, and black tourmaline gemstone chips to create this dangle earring with a spiraling helix of sterling silver wire to surround the gemstones. A sprial that sits on top of another spiral. I start with sterling silver wire and spiral one large and one small on top. I envisioned the Native American people and a fall harvest when creating this pair of earrings. They are all copper, hand forged by me. The copper "sticks" are flattened to shape and randomly stamped with native sun details. On the sticks you will find turquoise rondelles, small red artisan made lampwork beads, and various metal beads; some copper, some gun metal. They remind me of Native trade beads. Sterling silver crocheted 16 1/2 inch necklace. This is a fun wire weaving technique. I kept this piece kind of simple and just added focal beads made by lampwork artist Moon Stumpp. (Love her work!) The focal consists of 3 wire wrapped beads. I would have to call this color dark sapphire blue. The center focal reminds me of an ice cube! This is a nice choker style length necklace. Ends with a "S" hook clasp.

Ok., ok., so I thought I'd whip around a few things and throw them all together and this is what I got! I started with sterling silver wire and wrapped and wrapped around catching a few things in the wire along the way, like: Swarovski crystals, sterling coils, Bali silver findings and copper. My beads are spaced between Bali silver beads and lampwork artisan "coiled" or oil slick beads that were made by Celine of Glass beads 4 U. The twisted polygon toggle clasp completes the look.
The bracelet measures 8 3/4 inches in length, but sits nicely at 7 inches on a bracelet sizer.

Note: the colors in the lampwork beads are hard to see in photography: their base color is red, but they have blue and teal swirled throughout. The crystal colors I used are red, light and medium blue, and steel or slate blue.

One could describe this as a "half bangle charm bracelet". It's focal is an earthy, yet classic lampwork barrel bead in soft tones of color; brown, tan, beige,plum, and black. With 2 sister beads of cream, that I've sculpted hand forged bead caps around. This section is formed on 1 single piece of heavy gauge copper wire, embelished with spirals.
The dangling charm aspect of this gorgeous bracelet starts with handmade copper links, each individual with 2 dangle charms attached. And you will find an assortment of dangling charms. I start with a beautiful boro lampwork bead of orange/rust that I coiled, and polymer clay beads with copper findings ,then adding various shades of Swarovski crystals (bronze, brown, topaz, golden topaz), orange freshwater pearls and a hand forged "modified" swan clasp created by me. I wire wrapped sea blue/turquoise colored Czech glass beads with crystal and copper embellishments for dangles. This bracelet coordinates with my Global Treasures earrings:

Coil wrapped earrings with Czech glass bead dangles and bronze/topaz Swarovski crystals. The long Czech glass beads are a pretty turquoise/sea blue with some details of gold/copper on them. Lampwork beads (with colors of light orange- think orange jello here, with blue speckles) made by "Catalina Glass". All copper findings. The ear wires were hand forged by me. They measure 3 inches in total length.

This gorgeous 22 inch long necklace is full of colorful carnelian faceted gemstones. I used various shades for added interest. The lampwork beads are an earthy mix of tan, beige, silver; complimented by heavy Thai sterling silver saucer beads. I added carnelian briolettes for more distinction and visual focus along the decollette area. The beautiful focal bead has and earthy mix of colors, which one could describe as a southwest skyline. There are golds, silver, beige and tan,and an interesting layer of orange/rust circle design. Another layer appears as a blue river in the background and the light blue sky above.
You'll also find oxidized pattern sterling silver round beads throughout. And a pretty, stylized toggle clasp. I've included coordinating earrings of lampwork beads and the patterned beads with this necklace.

Details: all lampwork beads made by Moon Stumpp, all sterling silver, smaller beads are 5-6mm and 6-8mm, the focal is approx. 1 1/2 inches wide.

These are artisan made lampwork beads, made by "Evolving Creations". Celtic pewter findings, bead caps and olive green bicone Swarovski crystals enhance the beads.

Beads colors are a dark chocolate brown background, (almost black), with earthy tones throughout the beads, of green, beige,brown, and tan.

This bracelet starts with a core of heavy gauge copper wire to which I've wrapped twisted wire around. The twisted wire is copper and sterling silver making it appear like rose gold. I've added a large focal bead of red, cream, and beige followed by smaller matching lampwork beads. Copper spacer beads for accents, and a funky swan clasp with twisted wire just for fun. This bracelet will fit a wrist of 7 to 7 3/4 inches comfortably.

Note: There are 2 "shades" of copper in this piece. I've oxidized the clasp and core wire, but left the twisted wire sterling and bare copper. It is a nice look. The bracelet has been machine tumbled for shine and hardness, then I hand polished some details to stand out.

A beautiful bright and shiny sterling silver wire designed necklace. I used artisan handmade lampwork beads by Melissa Vess, cradling them with Bali bead caps and spacer beads. The mauvey pink wire wrapped "caged" beads are African Kazuri beads made of ceramic. I coiled some sterling silver to make small coiled beads. Handmade jump rings by me and for an accent, I've added some heavy gauge etched oval link chain between some of the links. And to finish, I've added a couple of sterling flower beads and an Israeli silver fancy diamond shaped toggle clasp.
This is a OOAK "artwork" necklace to be cherished for years. It has been machine tumbled for hours adding a nice shine and hardness to the silver.

This is a fun and funky style bangle. All sterling silver and beautiful artisan lampwork beads by Melissa Vess. A soft pretty floral with abstract designs. Colors includes shades of lavendar, blues, cream and black/grey background with a touch of red. I used Hill Tribe bead caps in a detailed floral pattern, other sterling flower beads, coils, a few Mykonos Greek ceramic beads and a funky swan clasp. I tumbled this bracelet for shine and to strengthen the metal. This is a bright silver design.

These are Mykonos Greek ceramic cubes encased in a coil of oxidized copper. They are double loop wrapped for security. Suspended from surgical steel ear wires with copper bead detailing. Tumble polished for strength and shine and also lightly hand polished.

Earrings measure 1 3/4 inches long.

The color of the Mykonos beads is called "leafy greens".

The beautiful focus of these earrings are the pretty purple and blue lampwork beads made by Brandie Rosenberry. These are boro glass beads, dark in colors and have a pretty glittery background to them;very subtle. I used sterling silver to hand forge the metal on which the beads rest. They are embellished with Hill Tribe silver tube beads and ornately decorated bead caps. I also created the ear wires with a textured spiral. These ear wires have been tumble polished. Total length of earrings is 1 3/4 inches.
Cool colors with crisp silver.

Hill Tribe silver is 98% pure silver, made in Thailand by the Hill Tribe crafts people.

WIRED-sterling silver metalwork-wire post earrings

What a fun pair these were to make! I started with round wire that I flatten and then create a funky twisted wire wrapped bauble to gently sit on the ear. These are post earrings, complete with sterling silver ear nuts. I oxidized these for more depth and interest, then tumble polished for strength and shine. I finished them off with a light hand polishing to hit the high spots of shine.
Unique, fun, everyday functional earrings.

Sterling silver; they measure 1 1/4 inches total.

I love the shades of purple and green in these earrings! Beautiful artisan lampwork boro beads made by "Foward Motion Art". I used Bali ear wires and Bali bead caps, Czech glass flower beads in chrysolite celsian, and fire polished rounds in a muted, violet shade. All sterling silver. Earrings measure 2 1/8 inches long. Boro beads are approx. 15-16mm.
As always, clear plastic ear clutches are included.

This is a new design that I've learned. It is completely handmade by me. Pure copper has been coiled in different ways to create this fun linked bracelet. Jump rings handmade. The toggle is completely handmade also. The bracelet has been oxidized for a rich patina, then tumble polished for strength, shine and durability. I finish it by hand polishing completely.

This bracelet measures 8 inches in total length, and would fit a 6 1/2 inch-7 inch wrist nicely.

Sterling silver hand forged scroll pattern with large round hand forged ear wires. What makes these earrings special it the technique I used to wire wrap the sugilite gemstones. Look closely at the flat wire wrapping. These earrings have been oxidized and tumble polished. Natural sugilite gemstone tear drops. They are smooth stones. Pretty purple color.
