Vintage Nylon Hankie with Pink and White Dogwood Flowers

This is a vintage nylon hankie from aprox 1955. It has never been worn, and still has the tag.

It is shear and is as light as a feather. It has scalloped edges trimmed in pink, and is decorated with dogwood flowers in a mauve toned pink, crisp white, and a hint of yellow.

It is 13" x 13" square. There is no damage, or marks.

You could use this to make a scarf brooch, or add it a tote bag as decoration.... or use it as is.

Vintage Irish Linen Hankie with Crocheted Lace Trim

This is a vintage linen hankie adorned with very intricate and delicate crocheted lace. It has never been used. It has to be at least 50 years old if not more.

The label says it's Irish linen. The brand name is Burmel. There was a price tag under the label that was taken off, but the adhesive remained. This will wash out... I will let the purchaser do that! ;)

It measures almost 11 x 11". It is in perfect condition and is as light as a feather. The colors are vibrant red and pink with a touch of yellow and green. The reverse side is slightly lighter in color.

Vintage Tin

I am not sure what this is exactly! LOL I have been researching it and there are two possibilities.

One is that it is a tin for watch crystals(glass).

The other (and more likely), is it is a tin for manufactured gems or stones. Cosmite is a term used for this and the fact that it has a patent pending on the tin would also indicate this possibility.

It is a little more than an inch wide and a tiny bit over 1/2" in height.

It is very rusted on a large section of the outside. It is very worn. Elsie thinks it had face powder, but can't remember... she's 102!

Vintage Perfume Bottles In Celluloid Holder

This is a set of square Vintage Perfume Bottles set in a beautiful Celluloid holder.

This piece has been in my family for at least 80 years. The stoppers are worn and one has a chip off the bottom edge (as shown in picture)

The bottles are "stuck" in the holder, but because of its age, I haven't tried to remove them. There's actually no need to unless you plan on using them as perfume bottles again. I am sure a little hot soapy water will free them!

They measure a tad over 5" in height and are a tad over 4" wide.

The celluloid mimics "Tortoise Shell" which is a deep brown and caramel color swirled in a beautiful pattern. The very edge is a solid color to frame the piece. It's just gorgeous!

Vintage Celluloid Ointment Jar

This is a vintage celluloid ointment jar with a removable glass insert. It stands aprox. 1" tall and is almost 2" wide.

There is a slight bubble type mark on the lid, and also on the outside of the bottom of the base.

The lid has a wonderful mother of pearl look to it, and the rest of the container is a really warm amber color. The glass insert is heavy and thick bottomed.

This would be perfect for a ring, or for bedside medicine, or maybe a favorite essential oil...

It's dainty and elegant and I hope you love it as much as I do!

The front card with the lady has name, date, and total

The back card says "500" AVONDALE and has a scoring section.

The were printed in 1906!!!! WOW!

Faux Pearl Clip on Earrings

This is a pair of vintage faux pearl clip on earrings. They are from the late 50's (my mom's).

They are whiter than the photos, but because they are so lustrous, I had to take the photos in a lower light setting because of the glare.

They are aprox 1 1/4" x 3/4 wide. They are lever back clip ons. They are in perfect condition, just need a little cleaning.

You can also use this as a supply to create a new item!

Vintage Black Enamel and Crystal Cuff Links

This is a set of vintage cuff links. They are Black enamel set in silver metal and adorned with tiny clear crystals in the center of each link. They are aprox 1/2" wide.

They are at least 80 years old. The metal is pitted and has a lot of discoloration. The closing mechanism works perfectly. Once restored, they will make a stunning statement to any wardrobe.

Vintage Round Beaded Purse

This vintage purse is from my family, and is at least 80 years old. It is adorned with very bright tiny glass beads in colors of vibrant pink, soft lavender, light green, ecru, tan, and black.

The metal frame is silver in color and needs polishing. The metal chain is in perfect condition. It's clever design allows you to hang it from your wrist and still be able to open it without it falling wide open... the chain is attached across each side. (One end is attached to the front, one is attached to the back.)

The flower pattern is exactly the same on both sides. The interior is in tack with only minor tares.

This purse actually has some depth to it, meaning the round design has an edge to it (like a deep pillow) Forgive me, I know there is a name for that... it escapes me at the moment! :) I took photos of it filled and unfilled so you can see what I am referring to.

The beading is about 90% in tact... there are some slightly loose beads that are turned on edge, but still secure.

It is 5 1/2" at its widest point, and almost 11" in length from the top of chain to the bottom of the purse.

This is a stunning purse! Very feminine.
